S.Spinier [Zaku IIs]


Spinier had lost the element of surprised with that unintentional kill. Now the Magellan's AA cannons had caught on to his surprise attack and began firing at him. A federation GM pilot also decided to make things more difficult than one would like them to be. Machine gun and Vulcan fire came from his side as well. Spinier pulled of a fancy upward barrel roll maneuver to evade the incoming fire. The speed of his Zaku allowing him to leave the sights of the Magellan's cannons. Spinier flew straight up and spun around to see the GM that fired on him. He sees the 2 Zaku II's who were following him begin firing their Zaku Bazooka and machine gun at the GM. Expecting the GM to be taken down from the incoming fire from his flank. Spinier turned his attention back to the Magellan. He began to strafe the ship on its left side. He peppered its side guns with machine gun fire, successfully destroying 6 of it's guns.

Glenn Retinozzi [RGM-79 GM]

Glenn somewhat sighed in relief, he somewhat thought that no one else bothered to notice that some ace in the hole almost scored a literally hole in one to the Federation forces. Meanwhile on the back, Cadan took care of the Zaku IIs in a quick succession of moves, proving that he didn't get the Command type GM for nothing. " Roger. " replied Glenn to Cadan's order, as he stored his spraygun to the back as it's too risky of friendly firing to be further used with this many allies around as he moves. Taking the floating 120mm from the Zaku Cadan had taken care of, Glenn kicks in his thrusters and approaches the unusually fast Zaku II from the other side, trying to pull a pincer attack, if not any one of them managed to pin down the Zeek's movement, forcing it to engage in CQC, and too busy to mind the magellan.

S.Spinier [Zaku IIs]


Spinier did his best to avoid gunfire, but as long as he made himself know to the enemy that had him virtually surrounded, it was impossible to dodge everything. Some small machine gun rounds hit parts like his shoulder shields and waist armor. But he made sure that he wouldn't get hit by any high powered beams and mega particle cannons. Spinier quickly closed in on the next cluster of ships. He was lucky, a Magellan with two escort Salamis class ships on both sides. Spinier honestly didn't know which Magellan in the fleet was the enemy General's, he simply planned to come in and take out which ever ones seemed most important. Such as the one right in front of him. Spinier did a quick dive for it, just dodging a pair of mega particle beams. In case the GM following behind him attempted to fire his head Vulcan or spray gun. Spinier boosted behind and in between the Magellan and the Salamis for cover. Spinier pulled out a Strum Faust and fired it at the front half side of the Magellan. The anti ship missile impacted almost instantly at that range and was dangerously close to damaging Spinier's suit but he made that pass without any extra scratches. The Magellan's nose was shattered from the rest of the ship and the hit drove the ship on a course into the neighboring Salamis. The flaming bow of the Magellan collided with the section of the Salamis its reactors were located. Both ships then explode in a massive blast which heavily damages the 3rd Salamis, killing its bridge crew. Spinier doesn't look back at his nearly 3 for one kill and focuses on heading back towards the Zeon fleet for resupply. "Did I lose that new GM?"Spinier wondered allowed, thinking of the possibility that the GM might of been caught in the explosion.

Glenn Retinozzi [RGM-79 GM]

" Keh, Damn it ! " Glenn punched the side of his cockpit as the ace Zaku went away of his line of sight and into the crowds, as if it had only came to play with the lines. Eyeing the damaged Magellan, Glenn quickly let go of the looted machinegun and back to his own rifle. Dragging out the targeting scope from the back of his seat, he would locate the most forward Musais, and aimed manually at their bridges to not risk them risking a lock-on alarm sounding on the other side. " Gotta thin their lines before that monster come back... " Glenn grit his teeth, firing a held out beam, following the musai as it was about to dodge, succesfully rendered its efforts futile and sunk it nonetheless... " Take a hike already, zeeks ! " Glenn cursed silently, taking down yet another Musai-class ship from afar.

Upon aiming at the 3rd ship, he found that the remaining energy was no longer enough to pull an attack of the scale, so he detached the equipment and scrapped the empty spraygun, floating to the space. " Oi, boy ! Take this ! " said a pilot of a ball nearby, bringing supplies for the rear guards, passing over a fully charged spraygun at Glenn whilst providing some covering fire. " Look out ! " Glenn said on reflex, as a damaged zaku unit charged towards the Ball with a heat hawk glowing. As Glenn was about to reach for the spraygun, the ball fired a straight shot, blowing a hole in the Zaku's cockpit before forcing it to explosion. " Nice shot, and thanks for the guns~ " Glenn expressed his gratitude and astonishment, being left somewhat amazed. Glenn would then reload his long range equipment and get back to sniping, whilst the Ball, too, got back to do his part of the show. " If we manage to gap their front escorts big enough, we could get the nuke strike teams into the scene... Damn it... " Glenn was somewhat anxious as every second passes, the colony ruins drew closer to the earth.

He would then pass forward to get better view, as now one supply Papua-class support ships are within his scopes. Hiding behind a MS carcass pile, he would silently pull the trigger, destroying one Papua-class. Docked to resupply a friendly Musai and rendered immobile, the Papua-class were officially sitting ducks if one could get sight and range to fire at them, even chain disrupting their neighboring ship should they were in the middle of resupplying. holding down the trigger to a held-out laser again, Glenn's shot grinded along the Papua and into the Musai besides it, catching both of them ambushed while they were busy meddling with supplies.

Spinier headed in a wide curve while evading stray and direct cannon fire as he weaved around Federation battleships. Spinier suddenly felt an odd feeling in his mind, his eyes shot to his right as he knew he was about to get hit. Spinier quickly thrusts sideways to avoid the rocket that may have ended him. The rocket flew over the back of his suit, missing by only a few meters. The rocked then slammed into the side of a Salamis destroying 2 of its guns. "Damn rookie..." Spinier cursed as he spun his Zaku to thrust backwards and face his new pursuer. He sees the GM following him wielding its own bazooka. Spinier glares at the attacking suit with a spiteful stare. He knew he was getting under the enemies skin and its really in his favor that the GM's shot hit his own ally. But something about this convenient shot really got to Spinier. "How could he be so blind!" Spinier yelled in his head. Spinier took hold of his last Strum Faust and didn't wait to fire it at the GM. If the GM was a real rookie, the missile would strike him and that would be his end. Even if he blocked, the missile which is meant for anti ship use would destroy its shield and most likely damage the mobile suit beyond repair. And again, like yesterday when fighting the one suit and his Salamis class ship, if the GM pilot was good enough to dodge, the chances the Strum Faust missile hitting a federation ship behind it was high with their fleet all jumbled in clusters.

Xian Yuan [RGM-79]

"What?! It hit the Salamis?! Dammit!" Xian said in frustration. All these ships were too close together and made it hard for Xian to fight. But before he could think of anything else, he saw the Zaku fire a Strum Faust at him. Xian was almost prepared to evade when he noticed the Salamis behind him. "Damn.. It's difficult fighting here.." he said, opting to instead fire at the Strum Faust with his head vulcans and hope he is able to hit it before it reaches his suit, which he knew would do devastating damage. Xian was able to shoot down the Sturm Faust moments before it would have hit him, causing a strong explosion that rocked his suit, but remained mostly undamaged thanks to his shield taking the brunt of it. The explosion created a blanket of smoke, and Xian used this to his advantage. He figured that since the explosion was so close to Xian's suit, that the enemy would assume that Xian had perished from that attack. With the element of surprise on his side, Xian fired everything he could at the Zaku, from his bazooka and his head vulcans and even the grenades he had on the sidekirts, but from a different angle to avoid hitting the ship behind the Zaku and to also attempt to catch the Zaku off guard as it would most likely expect any return fire from Xian's original position. Xian couldn't tell if any of his attacks hit the Zaku, but he decided to press his assault without stopping by boosting to another direction covered by the smoke and charging at the Zaku's position. Xian hoped that by first attacking from a different direction from where he originally was and then attacking again from yet another place, he could catch the enemy by surprise and get some hits in. He boosted out of the smoke and went straight for the Zaku the second he saw it, with his shield up to defend from enemy fire and his beam saber drawn, Xian made sure not to cut the enemy any slack else it could do more damage not only to him but to the fleet as well.

Xian Yuan [RGM-79]

"S-s**t!" Xian growled under his breath as he saw the incoming Zakus instead of the enemy he expected to see. He hesitated for a moment, unable to come to a decision on which way to dodge, flustered by the surprise of the Zakus' sudden appearance. Xian decided to make a sharp boost to the left towards one of the Zaku Squads, letting him successfully dodge the first Zaku's fire but running straight towards the other one's. Luckily for him, his shield was able to take most of the punishment, but his suit still reported scattered damage reports from his arm, leg and head, causing his main camera some damage which resulted in the screen in his cockpit becoming fuzzier. "Damn.. Maybe I made the wrong move there.." Xian said, accepting that this rookie still had a lot to learn. But he did not falter and kept a cool mind, using his momentum which didn't slow to continue accelerating towards the Zaku team he opted to charge for, firing a shot with his bazooka towards the lead Zaku, but firing at where he predicted it would be instead of where it was as they seemed to be moving in a predictable way, with an explosion in front of him confirming a hit, the bazooka shot blowing off the crotch area and legs of the lead Zaku.
One of the Zakus rushed to help its fallen commander, while the other offered its wing man covering fire by shooting its machine gun at Xian. Xian lifted his shield to take the brunt of the Zaku's fire in an attempt to defend a Salamis ship that he noticed was behind him, then boosted towards the Zaku. Xian observed the damage report his suit gave from the shots, but simply nodded it off as it was either Xian or the Salamis, and he would rather take a shot than someone else. As he came at the Zaku, he hit it with his shield resulting with that Zaku becoming momentarily paralyzed. He took the quick few seconds to fire his bazooka at the other Zaku assisting his CO. The bazooka round hit the Zaku straight in the cockpit, causing an explosion that destroyed not only the Zaku but his CO that he was trying to help. "Dammit!" Xian said angrily to himself. He wanted to defeat the enemy, but he was only aiming to damage the Zaku enough to render it nonoperational like the other one to avoid needless casualties, but his "lucky" shot quickly soiled his plan.
The third Zaku came at Xian again, this time with the support of the three other Zakus who now considered Xian an actual threat. "I.. .I shouldn't feel any remorse for these people.. They're trying to hurt my friends.. They're trying to destroy my home!" Xian said to reassure himself that the murder he had just committed could be rightfully justified. War is terrible. Xian thought, but he couldn't just sit around and watch any more of his comrades be killed as well, so he strengthened his resolve.
"Hey.. hey, give me some support here! Don't rely on me to take all these guys out by myself!" Xian said through his comm speakers directed at the nearby Salamis ships, to ask for some support fire. "That's a negative.. if we fire now there's a strong chance of it hitting an ally ship." said one of the nearby Salamis. Xian cursed the Federation's foolish formation for ships, but decided to continue to fighting anyway. Strafing to his left, Xian avoided the majority of enemy fire while slowly getting closer to the nearest Zaku. Xian fired a bazooka round, and although the shot didn't hit it dead on, the bazooka round still exploded close enough to the Zaku to momentarily stun it, which gave Xian the opening to fire another round that engulfed the Zaku in a fiery explosion. Xian felt sick killing another human being, but he pressed on and did what he had to. Although by now, Xian began doubting how much more he could do. His thrusters were beginning to overheat, becoming strained by Xian's efforts to avoid getting hit. The numbers on the damage percentage reports on his suit slowly began to rise, and Xian began to wonder if he could make it out of this one. His boosters were now temporarily nonoperational due to overheating and he couldn't hit the enemy from his position as it would hit a Magellan that was nearby, and Xian could do nothing but grit his teeth and hope his shield holds up as one of the Zakus in the remaining squad fired relentlessly at Xian, while the other two targeted the nearby Magellan. As Xian sat there helplessly, the Zaku noticed Xian's inability to move, and took this opening to charge in for a heat hawk slash aimed straight for Xian's cockpit.
A bright explosion followed, but it was not from Xian's GM. The Zaku that was about to cut Xian's suit in half had been shot down, followed by another Zaku, and then another. "You alright, friend? Guess we're even now." Xian heard in his comm speaker, a familiar voice. It was the GM he saved earlier along with his squad. Xian sighed in relief and smiled for the first time since this battle began. If you're still fit to fight, then head to the front lines. The top guys are getting desperate, and they're focusing all their fire on the colony." "But.. wouldn't that leave them vulnerable to fire from the enemy Musais and Mobile Suits?" Xian asked. "Yeah well that's where we come in." "Roger.." said Xian, seeing that his boosters has now cooled down, used them once more to quickly head to the front lines and assist in the defense of the ships trying desperately to stop the colony.
"Everyone is trying so hard.. Dammit I can't lose! I have to protect my home, and everyone I care about!" Xian said to strengthen himself as he charged for the first Musais that aimed for the Federation fleet, along with his new companions and a cluster of other GMs. They boosted through chaos, dancing a deadly dance around the Musai's mega particle cannons and missiles, along with the enemy fire from the Zakus all around. Some were unfortunate, becoming caught missiles or bullets and becoming engulfed in a large explosion, or simply disappearing from existence after being caught in the beams of the mega particle cannons. Losses were gradually increasing, but Xian would like to hope that the same goes for the enemy, as Musais sank one by one and enemy suits blew into oblivion. Xian saw the squad of GMs from earlier effectively teaming up on a Musai and sinking it with concentrated fire from different sides, and elsewhere a GM that recieved an unlucky bazooka hit had most of its body blown off and the rest caught aflame. Amazingly, the GM was still operational, using its last moments of life to boost towards a nearby Salamis, crashing into its bridge and taking down the entire ship down to hell with it. As Xian fired a bazooka round aimed for the bridge of yet another Musai, he saw the familiar GM Command of his CO flying past a Musai, shooting four beams as it flew by, each beam hitting the three turrets and the bridge, leaving it to slowly sink and fall apart. A Zaku tried to sneak up on Xian with a downward heat hawk swing from behind, but was quickly shot down by a charged beam shot that pierced through the Zaku with ease and even hit a Papua nearby, a shot he could only imagine came from his teammate, Glenn. He wondered where the rest of his team was, but everyone was fighting as hard as they could. They had to, of course. They were defending their home. It held everything, their families, their past, even their future. This was not something they would let the enemy take, unless they pried it from the grips of their dead hands.
