Clyde

Clyde started to chuckle. "You left because you were scared. You left because your a child afraid of war.." He stopped laughing. "But your obviously not afraid to defend yourself and become strongest.. I like that." Clyde made a chair from his shadow and sat down and rested his chin on his hands. "I apologize if I offend, I'm just starting to get comfortable." he said.

She showed no sign of shock or fear, for Astrid knew she would get caught eventually. Merely looking back at the young demon with a gun pointed at her, she kept her perch as she looked at him. "Forgive me for not facing you properly, but you are the least of my concerns here."
Something about this area just didn't feel right. Such feelings kept her in the tree, as if she was waiting for something to happen. Sure enough, an ominous feeling came over her. Turning around she could feel something dark zipping through the forest. It was no demon, nor angel... something unnatural.

Spreading her wings, she dove down and flew by Clyde and Daichi, "Run. Out of the forest!" Flying ahead, she new she had to get out of the claustrophobic trees to the meadow opening.

((I'm just gonna post for a monster like this.))

From the shadows of the forest came an ear screeching scream. Two trees fell, and the ground shook from vibrations of a foot coming down. Along the fallen trees, crimson liquid flowed along the trunks. The liquid bended and morphed into snake like creatures, which jumped up to another tree and began to eat away at the bark like acid.

Then from behind the pack of acid snakes, rose a large shadow that pulsed in the moonlight. What this creature was remained unknown, yet outstretching his left limb dripped more acid snakes. The silhouette opened his mouth and the screech roared into the night.

Clyde

Clyde laughed as he was not amused with the creature. He dismissed the smaller shadow creatures. He kept his armor on as he approached the creature. He tried to understand what it was, but all he could think was that it was a freak of nature. Clyde stopped 10ft from the advancing creature. 'Is it intellagant?' He thought to himself. "What are you." He said ignoring Daichi.

Upon realizing they were not following her out of the forest, Astrid flew higher into the air and soared above the tree line. Glaring down at he monster before her, she pulled out her bow and aimed an arrow at the creature.

The presence of the angel angered the beast. Screeching out as he pointed his right limb up toward Astrid, some loose acid snakes flew toward her. But they were not arched far enough and fell down near Clyde.

Astrid glared at the monster and then looked behind it, sure enough there were two other creatures coming.

The monster did hear Clyde but could no longer speak. Instead, it lashed out by stretching out his left arm to chop down a tall tree with acid. Now his companions came closer and bent down into his body. Growing larger in mass, he morphed in height like a disease.

She let an arrow fly from her bow and pierce the monster. Of course, it did very little. Quickly darting behind the creature to dodge his attack, she fired one more arrow and tried to get the creature to follow her.

The monster heard the gun shot and looked back down at the demon who fired it. Screeching again, the creature instead of failing his arms bent down on it's "knees" and fell on it's face. It's body became a sea of acid and it's wave en route to Clyde.

Diving down from the sky, she flew over the acid bath and found what she was looking for; a single dark spot. Quickly firing an arrow at the spot, the monster took solid form again and rose up to attack Astrid.
Dodging the creature's hands before they encased her, Astrid flew near Clyde and Daichi, "Clearly both of us are angering it."

The beast twisted and turned until it was fairly solid again. It's slime like mouth opened again and screeched. From it's feet, acid snake slithered from his "feet" and ran for the three of them.
