Raven wakes herself and begins muttering. It seems like gibberish, but words like "magician" and "sword" can be understood.

"Hey, what was that?" There is a sudden eagerness in his voice. The last time he knew where the sword was, it was taken by a powerful sorcerer. "Are you okay? Did you see him?" this is the clue I've been waiting for!

She suddenly falls silent. Her wings automatically curl around her, creating a shield between her and the world. She then begins to rock back and forth.

He gently picks her out of the air, holding her with both hands as a voice inside him calls out... You are hungry aren't you? just eat then... No, I cannot eat her. She might know something. "You are going to be fine. Now, what is your name?"

A dark haired female crept into the open shop and blinked. 'What in the-?' Her instant thought was cut off when she rememebred what she came to do, though she wasn't very happy needing help to sharpen her family heirloome.
The girl looked at the fairy and the other boy there with her. She noticed Nick and wished the boy in her path haddn't peeked her interest since she needed to speak to him about her sword.
"...un..."
She looked at him and gripped her sword's hilt tighter as she like a fool for acting like this. The elegant girl then treated her own reactions lightly as she walked past him, hair drifting behind her with an odd ribbon was tied to a few strands.

Notices the dark-haired girl and looks at the sword with disappointment and keeps tending to the fairy. We need food, get us some food... I told you no. Now, let me keep asking around for a bit and I will go hunting later. We don't want what happened the other night to happen again. The other night he is talking about is when the spiritual sword took over. He got so hungry that he forgot how to control it. Another homeless person died because of it. And he will never forgive himself for it.
Turns to the girl after a moment. "Who do you need?"

She set her sword down on a table and glanced at him again, forgetting for a second to stop staring, and her dark eyes watched him for a moment longer, then she sighed and put some money down.
"Sharpen this please..."
She requested and walked towards the door and leaned on the wall slightly, deep in thought.

Nick watches the scene between the fairy and the new people with a wide-eyed expression. What the hell just happened? First she was talking to me, then she got distracted by the new guy, and THEN that girl came in. Smiling to the dark-haired girl, he picks up the blade and examines it. "My brother and I run this place, Miss..." he says to the dark-haired girl and takes the sword over to a grindstone. "I believe he is a customer. And I haven't, but Mathias probably has. Yo, Mathias!"
Mathias's head peeks around a support beam and he smiles when he sees the "customers." "Wow, we're busy today aren't we?" he comments and approaches Nick. "Whatdaya need?"
Nick starts sharpening the sword and nods towards Galvix. "He wants to know if we've heard any rumors about some vampiric, strangely curved sword."
Mathias's smile widens even more and he talks loudly. "I did just last night down at Finnegan's! Some guy said a cursed sword drained part of his life force or something. Up by Smoky Pass I believe. Anyone need anything else?" As he speaks, he's wiping off a hammer with his blacksmith's apron.

She looked over to Nick who had started sharpening her old sword and noticed a charm was hovering dangerously close to the grindstone and she focused her eyes in almost fear.
"Make sure to be careful of that!"
She half yelled at him and glanced at Mathias wondering what he was doing.
Her gaze turned cold and she walked back towards them, and waited for her heirloome to be returned to her, with her special charms, though one fell loose and the glass beed shattered on the floor at their feet as she stared in shock, but soon let her mind clear as she remembered, she was entirly different from them, as she was pure human, and was a traitor of the army.

Galvix doesn't really pay attention until the sword comes up. "Wait, you mean someone's using it?" They shall be punished... Not now. Go away... Galvix feels the small strap that used to hold the blade. Soon, I will be whole again.
"Thanks for the help. Mathias, will you sharpen the blade with extreme care when I come back? I'll pay in advance."

Nick doesn't flinch when the dark-haired girl yelled at him, so he is confused when the glass bead suddenly falls off for no apparent reason. He frowns. What... I don't THINK I did that... He finishes sharpening the blade and hands it back to her with an apologetic expression. "Sorry 'bout that... I didn't hit it on the grindstone but I don't know why it fell... And we don't charge for sharpening except in special circumstances."
Mathias nods again at Galvix and continues. "From what I heard, some random hermit found it and tried using it on people who came too close to his shack. Not sure what that means..." He gestures at the grindstone and replies, "Of course, although it depends what the blade is like before I'll know how much to charge."

She sighs and uts her money in her pocket. The dark haired girl sadly puts her sword into the shieth and nods at Nick.
"Well, thanks...it's an old sword, that's why the beed fell."
She told him and then regained her composure and ut her hand out.
"Marrice Larson, you?"
Her expression changed and she seemed more calm, but still a bit dissapointed about her charm.

Nick gladly shakes her hand and introduces himself. "Nick Smith, Kunaria's first gunsmith, and a member of the Blessed Legion mercenaries." He sits in a chair and puts his arms behind his head like they were before. "What brings you to Salience?"

Marrice froze in place, he asked the question she disliked the most, even if it showed a bit of compassion.
"Well..."
She sighed and gave up, 'Might as well tell somebody.' She thought to herself.
"I'm a army runaway, I was on the other side, yes, but I thought what they were doing was unjust.
So I stayed when they left, and decided to try and help out here."
The girl stated, and it made sense why she wore a uniform-like outfit. Marrice sighed again and looked straight at Nick.
"Well, I'm doing better with my ol' sword here than I do with guns, but I do have some that I jacked from my former officer."
She joked, but she did have about three in her bag, she just never used them.
