The School

Sonya had found a part of the wall that contained vines that she could use to her advantage. When she was no more than half way up, someone called out to her. "H-hey! You can't do that! You could get in a lot of trouble for doing that!" A timid female student who called out. People were already begin to stare but did not want to interfere. Too much trouble for them. The girl's words did not deter Sonya in the least bit. She merely replied with, "But I had to see what's beyond the wall!"

Pierce growled a little to himself and finally came out from behind the tree, moving up to the closest point so he didn't have to yell as loud. "Sonya, was it!? You know there are places where you can actually meet the other creatures!"

"Seriously?!" This caused Sonya to pause for a moment as if she was thinking. Although it be as exciting, it would probably be the safer option. She slide down a little before hopping off the vine. She then turned around and clapped Pierce on the shoulder. "Alright, let's go then! Show me where." Not even bothering to ask what Pierce wanted to do, she was already planning on dragging him along since he was naive enough to even give her such information.

Pierce sighed as he heard her 'seriously' comment. "Yes...It's in your packet.." He watched her stay on the wall and then suddenly drop down with an eager speed. He watched her walk to him then heard what she said and felt her pull on his shirt. "What!?" He growled slightly. "Fine, I can show you one...But the locations should be obvious.." He stuck his fingers out as he counted them off. "There's the mall...the forest...the lake..and there's a club too....I'm sure there's more, but I don't remember what the packet said.." He said, rubbing his head a little.

By the time Pierce had finished speaking and looked back at Sonya, she was flipping through the packet. She managed to pull it out of her bag while he was talking, so it was possible that she had ignored most of what he had just said. "You're so right, Pierce! It's right here," she prodded a page with her finger, "here, here, and even here!" She would flip through the pages and point to each as she mentioned it. "I really should have read this closer. Who would have guessed it would be so straight forward? Talk about uncreative." She nodded and shoved it back into her bag. "So we leave at 10 before midnight, right? Ooooh this is so exciting! I'll be sure to bring a bunch of candles and my best rituals along with me!" She practically jumped up and down, acting as if they were about to summon a demon rather than meet with other students.

Pierce noticed her flipping through the packet and shook his head. He opened his mouth to speak again and every time he tried, she interrupted with another "here!" He let out an annoyed sigh before he heard a time meeting for the two of them. "What? I mean I guess...I better make sure you don't get yourself killed.." He huffed and then heard everything she planned to bring. "Sonya...We're meeting other students..If anything, be prepared to be picked on rather than be friends.."

"I already told you, I won't get myself killed!" Sonya protested and crossed her arms in a dramatic fashion. "And you don't understand. We need to be prepared for anything. Don't you know anything about how these things work? Come on, you really should do more research!" And by research Sonya most likely meant 'watch more horror movies' since Pierce had more experience with being around the supernatural.

Pierce watched her cross her arms in an exaggerated way and rolled his eyes. "Sure..You should be prepared..But there's also security around the areas we are all allowed to be in, and they are all fully equipped." He remembered seeing two male wolves get beaten down with a silver stick in order to make sure they would stop fighting at the mall. He could hear their howls of pain, a bit unethical he thought. "But taking things can also provoke some of them..they already don't always like us.."

"Now why wouldn't they like us?" Sonya's question was a rather obnoxious one. It should have pretty obvious why humans and other creatures don't get along. Her personality would only be fuel to the fire. Even humans didn't like her, so why should she be surprised if she annoyed the hell out of anything else she met? It wasn't that she was stupid, it was more so oblivious to how the world really worked.

Pierce sucked in a slow set of air before releasing it, shutting his eyes and just trying to think why she hadn't caught on. "Because..Over time we have shoved them into the darkness..They can't freely roam about like they used to..This school, as also mentioned in your packet, is somewhat a test run to see if we could all co-exist..So far the vampires get along with the humans better..I haven't seen many wolves with humans..But the wolves and the vampires are 50/50 chance..Just depends who meets them.." His eyes had stayed closed during the entire explanation, not wanting to see her face as he got it out. But finally, he opened his eyes to look at her again.

Sonya nodded before raising a finger as if to make a point. "Close, but not exactly what I was expecting. You completely forgot to mention that there has been other issues in the past. It's not only one race's fault for the current predicament, but all of them. You see, it all started with..." She began to rant on about some old stories and whatnot, mostly stuff from the very old folklore that not many people remember. After a few good minutes of nonstop talking, she finally wrapped up her thought. "... not to mention, we are a food source for one, and a nuisance to both. Co-existence is very possible, but we cannot forget our places in nature." She smiled and grabbed on to Pierce's arm with an unnatural force of a girl her size and build. "But enough about that! We need to go make a battle plan now! Going into unknown territory requires strategy!" She began to drag him along to wherever she planned on going with a huge grin on her face.

Pierce looked at her finger as it came to point at him before he focused back on her face. As she continued to rant, his eyes slowly committed a roll and his hands raised to rub the annoyance out of his face. As she finished speaking, his hands dropped and he looked at her. "Sure sure, plus all of that..Point is, you really don't want to instiga-" He felt her tug him again and he growled a little. "Sonya you're going to instigate them!" He yelled as he was tugged by her, confused at the source of her strength.

Sonya stopped suddenly, almost causing Pierce to collide against her. She quickly turned to face him and gave him a confused look. "Okay then... what do you suggest we do? To not instigate them, I mean." It seemed rather odd that she was even asking for his insight since it was probably the first time she asked for anything of the sort.

Pierce ran into her and groaned a little out of annoyance before looking at her. He tried processing what she said and once he had realized it, had to process the fact that she asked it. He was surprised and took a moment to just let that soak before finally speaking. "Well..I guess you can take your stuff just..Hide it well...And so long as they're not scented.."

"And just how will I do that?" Sonya frowned and placed her hands to her hips, sounding slightly annoyed. "No matter how clean or how hard I try, a scent will still linger unknown to the human nose. Both vampire and werewolf are known for their keen senses. Smell included. So there is no way we can account for something not smelling strange to them. What am I supposed to do? Fill my bag with bad smelling stuff to keep them away? Like garlic and silver?"
