"Oh-- Um... I guess I'm not used to talking to a lot of other people." He paws his feet upon the moss on the rocks, tearing it up slightly and revealing the wet rocks underneath. "I do feel a bit warm though... Maybe a small dip would hurt." He patters over to some other rocks a little ways away and jumps in creating a large splash around him and he brings his head back up to the surface paddling.

Tatsuya kept an eye on the other. "If you swim in the shade it should help too. The water should be cooler over there." He rolled onto his back and started to float, using his tail as a rudder. "You need to learn to relax... You seem skittish."

Following the advice of the dragon he swam over to the shade and found a rock to stand on. All but his nose, eyes, and antlers were submerged as he enjoyed the lapping of the river. It seemed to take all the stress away from him, his muscles relaxed and his eyes closed for a brief second before he opened them again to look at the dragon who was speaking to him. He pursed his lips "I guess I don't normally talk to other phoxes... only nature."

Tatsuya raised a brow. "Well, In a way.. aren't we all part of Nature?" (Even more so in the case of a Chlorophox?) He also clambered up onto the shore and relaxed in the shade. It would take longer this way for his fur to dry but he didn't care.

Layla gave a small smile at that. "Yeah, I guess we all are." He raised his head and looked up towards the sky. "We come from nature, and one day we will return to her. Until then this is the life we're given to make something of." He looked over at the dragon and wondered what the dragon was making of this life, and what he was as well.

Tatsuya could only follow Layla's gaze upward and nod. His gaze then returned to the deer next to him. "I can tell you are very attached to Nature." He gave a rare smile. "It's good to see that now these days." Tatsuya got up again and stretched, then took a spot next to Layla.

Layla smiled back at the dragon, he guessed it was rare, he didn't meet many others that understood like him. Then the dragon approached and sat near him, he blushed deeply, but the smile didn't fade away. He was beginning to feel safe and to understand this large creature next to him. "Um... Where'd you grow up?" He tried to make some small talk.

"I grew up in the mountains, Far east from here. It was lovely, but I wanted a change of scenery." He looked down at the deer. "I have grown fond of the forest." He looked at the near bay lake and his eyes followed it upstream where his current home was. "What about you?"

The mountains, he'd never seen the mountains, maybe he would one day. "This forest beneath a large mother willow." He smiled and looked out towards the forest's expanse. He was always so scared to leave the forest, it protected him and allowed him to feel safe. Leaving it meant exposing himself to everything else in the world. Maybe someday someone would take him out to see the world. "I wish I could one day see the mountains." He spoke whimsically and almost in a dream like state as he allowed his mind to wander trying ton conjure up the image of the mountains.

"There is a something like a mountain here. It's a cliff but it kind of has the same feel. Its up stream. Do you want to see it?" He did not mind inviting Layla to visit his home. There was nothing special to it. He kept pillows in there to keep himself cozy. A fire pit, and somewhere to store stuff. It was definitely a large cave and he was lucky to have found it.

Layla imagined tried to imagine a large cliff upstream, he felt like he'd seen it before. He nodded lightly. "I'd love to see it." He said nervously with a small smile.

"Come than. Your friends may come too... As long as they do not make a mess once we get there." He got up and stretched. He thought about how long it would take to get there walking. Since he ran over to the lake. Hmm... Shouldn't be too bad. "Let me know if you need to stop for any reason."
