It didn't take too long for the hellhound to collect his basic supplies. A spare pin, some seeds and a few pieces of pigimp jerky as rations. He was set, or at least as set as he could hope to be. it was one thing to find the missing students, it was another to go into the places where they could have been last. Above all, he didn't want to be on the list of the missing, nor see his own personal acquaintances on the list as well.

With a careful series of steps, Damien entered the room, the dim place seemed much more different than the last time he was around here, all the broken pieces of furniture and haphazard fabric was illuminated faintly by the fire demoness's torch. the room reeked of danger and brimstone as the hound scrunched up his nose and emitted more plumes of smoke from his eyes, blanketing him in a thin cloud of fear smoke. It made him feel more secure, even if it was only a mental thing for him and the other personalities that were on watch.

The effects of the dream, the hazy memories of what vision from last night still tugged at his senses, the room and the spiral. "That glyph is indeed a reoccuring image, we've seen it many times as of late." He joined in, softly speaking, calmly. "Its starting to become a common sign, but why?" he queried aloud as he began to sniff around, starting from the ground up. He had to investigate the tattered rug on the floor, sticking his head underneath.

"But the hunters ain't," Roch said to Vaith as he stood. "Look, me and Danny went to the locker room a couplea days ago, there was a mark just like this one and a message under it about those who seek guidance, or whatever, find it. The horsemen leaders were there when we went to the lake. And y'might notta noticed, but hunters destroyed their entire civilization, practically. We might not matter--my missing ghoulfriend, my missing friend, the other ones that are gone, they might not mean candlewax to them, but us tryin' to get them back from the hunters? That does."

He looked around at the others. "This could get us killed or weaponized, just like goin' down to the lake coulda--and might actually have. So if you don't want to help, I don't blame you if you choose to leave." He looked at Calder. "Trust me, I know exactly what you're sayin," he admitted darkly.

"It's somewhere in our room," Jericho murmured while fiddling with his cloak with anxiety. Yes, he managed to come out of the room, but now that he was here and idle, he was just not comfortable in the slightest. What if this was yet another trap? Planted by the hunters to snag even more students?

"We don't trust this..." he grumbled.

Just on a whim, Shun took out his mysterious vial and held it near the run. It might have been Vel's before but... the circumstances and timing of everything was rather odd. Perhaps it had some sort of connection here.

Maybe.

In the meantime, he quietly listened to some of the others. For those who were hesitant, he wouldn't care if they left. If this was the key to getting Mitsu and the others back, he didn't want to deal with anyone that could potentially slow them down. While others might not have trusted the horsemen, they were more trustworthy than any hunter was in his book.

"We still need to protect them. They were taken from home. We need to bring them back," he growled. Jericho might not have liked this, but he felt obliged. He couldn't just ignore this. What if they really did need that little extra fire power? He might be crazy, but fire was something he could definitely provide.

Alex wrapped his arms around the much shorter ghoul and held her tight before releasing her. "I won't go crazy....yet." He offered her a smile that didn't even come close to reaching his eyes as he stepped back from her. "If they've done anything to him....if he's not savable...." He let that thought drift off before he shrugged.

"I can't guarantee I'll be of sound mind, that's for jack damned sure." At least he could admit that out loud. Knowing how he felt the first time he thought he'd never see Yin again. The all encompassing blinding rage. The want to kill, maim, and destroy any hunter his eyes came across. It was there. But for now he was just going to hold on to that thought that he could get his bonded back.

Alex stepped away from Mei, arms crossing over his chest as he took in all of the others who had already arrived. This was good. Word was indeed spreading, and was helped along by a mysterious text, as well as a feeling that they were all meant to be here at this moment. He listened to what Roch had to say, and nodded. There was no question that this was going to be dangerous. But for Alex's part he could only hope that Medea came through for them, and did as she said that she would. "When you are in danger, when the time is right, call to it, and I will assist you in what you seek the most. However your path is still unclear, even for yourself. Find what you want more than anything else, the single path ahead, and then call for me. I will come for you then and assist you, all of you, who seek my guidance."

That had to mean that she would assist them in returning the students, right? It had to.

"This is going to be dangerous, Mei. Are you sure you are okay to help?" His eyes fell down to her once more. Concern, but not as much as he might have normally shown. His concern was no divided partially for himself as well.

And then Mort had a arrived, and finally, Alex's eyes might have lit up just the tiniest bit at his other friend. "More then ready. I have to say, I didn't think I'd ever be in a position quite like this." Another glance to the symbol at the floor before looking to the symbol on his hand. She had said to call her, but had not said how.

In any case, there were not enough here yet. Let more come and then he would see about 'calling'.

Good Jericho. All the fire. Yes.

"Yeah ... my best friends were taken- I gotta go too," she said, awkwardly fiddling with her wrists. It was incredibly awkward talking about them in this strange, ambiguous tone. She just imagined Amphi as one of her classmates, not a captive of the hunters.

Somewhat more quietly, she said, "How's Riley? I heard she's not a statue anymore?" She hadn't seen the mindflayer at prom, just heard about it through the pumpkinvine. Just snippets, mostly that she was alive again. That was good for Jericho, right?

Danny didn't even notice Damien. He wasn't touching her, so no reaction. You gonna have to try harder than that Puppy.

Mei would have to try to keep an eye on Alex. The way he was, with everything going on and his words, it made her worry. But she merely nodded her head in understanding. "Well if I need to I can smack you upside the head or something." She said it only slightly jokingly the other half was more of a threat than anything else. If Alex went crazy well...things could turn out worse.

Much worse.

The Jiang Shi tried not to let her mind wander to the worst case scenario. There was no time to dwell on the what ifs. "Yes." She replied, glancing up at him once more from beneath her bangs and scroll. "I should be asking you that question. But I know nothing I can say will stop you." Mei laughed half heartedly.

Her head turned quickly to Mort, glad to see another familiar face. "Of course." The ghoul eyed his little construct attached to his arm with a slightly quirked eyebow.
