 LilyPotterRemus had been considering it, Lily could tell. She would have loved it if he had decided to take her up on that offer. But, before she could even consider what would have happened if he had accepted it, Sirius Black appeared, as cocky as ever. She rolled her eyes when he greeted her and Alyssa in his usual flirting tone, smirk and all. Honestly, Lily never understood why Remus hung out with Sirius Black or James Potter. They were one in the same, horrible and cocky, used to everything being their way. "Look who showed up," she said, hoping that her voice didn't show just how disappointed that Sirius Black had joined the conversation. She was really enjoying a pleasant conversation between Remus, Alyssa and her.

 Alyssa Rose GriffinAlyssa silently listened to the little conversation that Remus and Lily were having, not because she didn't want to talk, but because she wasn't sure if she should. Suddenly another familiar student jumped into the conversation and when he addressed her she felt mildly in place. "My summer was pretty boring actually." She said with a frown. "I've been mostly reading up on the classes and trying to get ahead in my studies before school starts." She said with a small smile her eyes on Sirius. He was in her potions class last year and she was very impressed with how well he did in class. Maybe she could get help from him, because she really didn't understand potions.

 Sirius Black"Ahh. I rarely open my books." Sirius said to Alyssa. He gave Remus his book before walking closer to Alyssa and leaning against the end of a bookshelf. "You were in our potions class right?"He really only wanted to talk to Alyssa since she seemed more interesting, and nice. He didn't want to talk to Remus right now, he has all year to do that, and didn't really fancy a talk with Lily either. She seemed to snobby for his liking. He never really understood why James fancied that one so much. She always acted snooty and like she was too good for them. It was a pity, she seemed like a cool person when they first met her. Now, not so much.

 Remus Lupin Taking the book offered to him, Remus bit back his comment and settled for a muttered, "Thank you, Sirius..." He quickly checked the title and cover, making sure it was in good condition as was habit whenever James and Sirius handed him something he hadn't seen them grab. Turning back to Lily, he offered her an apologetic smile. "So... potions tutoring?" he asked, going back to her earlier comment.

 LilyPotterLily watched as Sirius went on talking to Alyssa, after giving whatever book it was to Remus. She had expected Sirius to say something, anything, to her in response to what she said. He always did that when she said something like that in front of him when he was around James Potter. Maybe he had some more manners when he wasn't in front of that arrogant pig. And then she heard Remus bring up the topic of tutoring. She looked to him, noticing that he had a smile on his face that almost seemed to say 'I'm sorry'. She smiled slightly back toward him and said, "Well, I'd be more than willing to help you out some. I'd say that what your problem in Potions is an issue in the measurements, for starters. It always seems like you know what you're doing, after all." Yes, she had been watching him in Potions. She always hoped that the previous years were all flukes and, when that class started, he'd show everyone that he wasn't as terrible at it as everyone thought. Granted, some people aren't good at everything. Sure, she's at the top of her class for pretty much every class, but that was because she studied hard, both in summer and at school.

 Remus Lupin "Lily Evans, have you been watching me?" he asked, joking slightly before he considered her offer. "Really though, I'd appreciate the help. Thank you." he added. Really, the offer of help in potions was a blessing. He might actually be able to get out of a lesson without ruining a potion as well as get to spend a bit more time with Lily. The only downside would be listening to James complaining. He'd ignore it like he usually did, though. Problem solved.

 LilyPotterLily rolled her eyes, almost mocking his joking when he asked her whether she had been watching him. Yes, she had. Yes, she liked him. But, no, that wasn't the reason she watched him in Potions. She watched all of the top of the years... and anyone who might be struggling in Potions. "You're not the only one I watch in Potions, Remus," she said, placing a hand on his shoulder in a sort of mock comfort. She and Remus joked in good humor... unlike what Potter and Black did to Severus. When Remus thanked her for the help, she smiled, and said, "I would have offered sooner, but it's hard to find you alone. And, you know how your friends are like. If I asked in front of them, they'd accuse me of wanting to date you." Yes, she had many times considered dating him, but she didn't want Black and Potter accusing her of it. And then, of course, she wouldn't want Remus to get on their bad sides. Everyone, including Lily, knew of James Potter's fascination with her, Lily.

 Remus Lupin "The joys of life at Hogwarts. Everyone is in anyone's business." Remus replied, his tone good natured as always. Out of the four of them, Remus had always noticed to be the more laid back. He wasn't as uptight or judgmental when it came to their classmates and he often times gave a person the benefit of the doubt. "As for the trouble trio... I'm hoping you don't have to worry about them this year." He added shooting a glance at Sirius, sizing him up. Maybe he'd have some luck and his friends had managed to grow up, if only a little.

 LilyPotterLily shrugged in agreement at Remus's comment about everyone needing to know everyone's business. Wouldn't it be nicer if everyone just minded their own business? Muggle schools weren't even this bad when it came to gossip. Granted, she was ten the last time she went to a Muggle school. Who knew? The fourteen year old Muggles could be just as nosy as Wizarding fourteen year olds. When Remus said that he hoped that she didn't have to worry about the trouble trio, she smiled, and said, "You and me both, Remus. I'd like to go a year, heck, a month, without one prank on Severus or Potter trying to ask me out." She thought she was entitled to that month, but it never seemed to her that James Potter thought that, too. If he liked her so much, wouldn't he be trying to get her to like him? And you don't do that by insulting and pranking friends.

 Remus Lupin Remus studied Lily for a moment, a knowing look passing over his features. "I'll see what I can do... No promises it'll work, but I can at least try to keep him occupied." he offered a wry smile at the thought. "Who knows? Maybe he'll find something that actually keeps him occupied in classes?" It was wishful thinking, but it was the best he had. The other choices were throwing him at Quidditch or, which Remus was loath to think of, encouraging them to focus on their animagus goal. He dreaded to think of the consequences were they found out.

 LilyPotterLily smiled, and said, "That would be absolutely amazing, Remus. Especially if you suceeded. I almost don't care what tactic is used to keep him away from me for even a month." Sure, she had just had summer vacation, where the only tie to the magical world that she had, besides all of her school things, was Severus. But, at school, she wanted some peace every once in a while, and she thought she deserved that. Honestly, she knew she was being a bit hard on Potter and Black, but, they've drown her to it. They kept picking on Severus, especially after she made it quite clear the one time they had sat together on the train, back in their first year, that she didn't like them picking on her friends. She would have thought that, if either of them had truly wanted her as a friend, or, in the future, more than that, they would have listened to her. But, they were too thick skulled to think like that, Lily supposed.

 Alexander Jaime Reece Alexander walked into Flourish and Blotts with his money in a bag on his belt along with his knife.He looked around and saw a few teens.He looked at his list and had no clue where to go to find the books.He started looking on one shelf his back facing the teens as he looked.He could not seem to find the book and he looked repeated at his list and then at the shelves.He groaned after the fifth time and started to check again and again.
He eventually gave and went to another shelf and found one book.He frowned at how hard it was to find books.He looked at the book he found.He searched that shelf again and found two more."Yes!"He said to himself as he looked around for the next books.He searched a shelf that the teenagers were next to nervously hoping they did not notice him.{{O}}{{O}}{{C}}{{Edit.= ] Better post now.Really sorry about it last night.}}{{C}}{{O}}{{O}}
