Mina stayed silent as he spoke in anger and hatred. She thought of his words. He was a bit right. She doesn't know how to hold her own in such places. Of course her father told her of all the hardships of life and he disciplined her to know those very things. Mina understood how he felt but she had never gone through most of the things he had. She was beginning to wonder if she really going to die by his hands. She loved her father more than anything but she didnt think she wasn't really worth saving. Mina thought that maybe...maybe he wouldn't come up with the money to save her. It would set his company back a bit and she didn't know if he was willing to really take that risk. He had built it up from the ground. Mina's eyes filled with tears as she lied down on the couch. The tears fell as she bit her lower lip. Mina knew the choice she had to take as much as it pained her."I agree with your terms Vic. If he doesn't come up with the 3 million dollars you asked for I will gladly let you take my life." she said softly trying to stop the tears she had let fall upon her face.

Vic looked at her and knew that reality was setting in for her. Walking over to her and moving her to where she sat up straight he wiped away a tear before saying "Don't worry...I'm not such a mean guy when it comes to certain things. I'll be reasonable and give him two months to get whatever it is he can and send it to me. If he calls the cops and finds me I'll set you free. If he doesn't make the payment in time then sadly...I will kill you. To be honest though I don't need your permission in order to kill you but thanks anyway. You are surprisingly mature about this whole ordeal." Sitting beside her he added "I thought you'd be freaking out immensely and yelling at me to untie you and whatnot but...you're surprisingly negotiable."

Mina continued in her state of sadness."You are very kind and reasonable to give me two months left to live. I'm sure my father is trying to understand this all himself and coming up with the money...I hope. But that's all I can do. I also accept your terms and will not complain." she sighed and hoped her father was coming for her. Mr. Ichinomiya was more than willing to find his daughter and get her back to him. No amount of money was worth losing his only daughter over. He called his lawyers and vice president and the bank. The police were already looking at the note and trying to see if they could get a clue on catching this criminal. The 5 o'clock news was broadcasting about Mina being kidnapped and the ransom of 3 million dollars. Everything was seeming to go in motion.

Victor smiled as he saw the news spread of the deed he did. Giving a light chuckle he told Mina. "I lucked out with a girl like you." with that he leaned over and reached behind Mina's head, untying the blindfold before letting it fall. He then grabbed a nearby hat and put it on the atleast hide his eyes as he turned his attention back to the screen of the old tv. "That's for being the daughter of Ichinomiya."

Mina adjusted her eyes to the sudden light. She looked over as Vic and she blushed seeing how handsome he was but was unable to look into his eyes. She then noticed his attention to the tv and saw her father saying he would pay the ransom but only if his daughter was safe and sound. This had given Mina so much happiness it was magnificent! "I'm worth it. Father thinks I'm worth it." she said softly as she closed her eyes with a bright smile.

"Of course you are. You're his daughter. Any man would pay any amount of money to get their kid back." with that he walked over to a desk and pulled out a feather from the broken drawer and a bottle of ink before setting both on the desk and grabbing a piece of paper before dipping the nib into the ink and began writing the response. The price for pencils and pens these days was outrageous so he figured he'd go old school.

She blushed looking up at Vic. She then watched him go to a desk and get to writing. She wondered what he was doing and tout it wouldnt hurt to ask. "What are you writing?" she asked out of pure curiosity.Mina was no longer thinking of escaping she just wished he would untie her.

"The next letter to your father." he said simply as the scratching of the pointed ink pen was heard rather quickly. He grew accustomed to writing fancifully so he was able to write a letter quickly. Once it was done he put everything except the paper away and let it dry before standing up and walking back over to the couch, a shadow covering exactly where his eyes were but the stare could be felt at Mina before redirecting to something else as he sat down. Holding up a finger to make Mina be quiet.

Mina just didn't understand Vic. But I guess she really isn't suppose to.she looked back at the tv and watched until she looked back over at Vic. "Uhm...sorry to trouble you but do you have anything I could eat?" she asked of him."I'm not asking for a feast or anything. Just something like a sandwich or something." Mina said with a small smile."I kind of have to go to the bathroom too.." she said blushing deeply as she looked away from him.

Victor looked at her and sighed. Standing up he gently took her wrist and pulled her to her feet before putting his hand over her eyes and walking behind her, giving her gentle nudges before he was at the bathroom. Opening the door he turned on the light and pulled her inside before closing it and letting his hand fall. "I'm not untying you if that's what you're thinking." he said as the faded light flickered, casting a shadow over his eyes and a bit on the bridge of his nose. "Get used to it little lady."

Mina blushed even more once they were in the bathroom."You're kidding me right....there is no way I can go to the bathroom with you just standing here in front of me. That's...it's...embarrassing..." she said softly looking down at the ground.

Victor gave it some thought before looking around the room and seeing a window. He then glanced at her, then the window before going back and forth a few times. Shaking his head he said "Damn...alright but when you're done eating I'll tying you back up." with that he turned her around and quickly untied her wrists and ankles before leaving the room and shutting it behind him.

Mina smiled when he finally came to reason and untied her...for now."Thank you." she said softly then waited for Vic to leave so she could do her business. Mina had already come to a conclusion that escaping was no option. She figured there was a good chance Vic new this neighborhood like the back of his hand and unfortunately, she didn't. So even if she did run away she would never be able to find her way to a familiar place with out wandering around blindly. He would have caught her and punished her severely. After she was done, Mina washed her hands and knocked on the door."Alright I'm done now." she said softly.

Victor nodded and opened the door before motioning for her to follow him. "After food is when I'll tie you back up because I'm not treating you like a princess." he said bluntly and walked into the kitchen before opening the fridge and grabbing a bag of lettuce and tossing it on the counter. "There. Eat up. It's all I have left that's still edible."

Mina looked at him."Princess? I thought it was common decency that you let a girl go to the bathroom by herself. I can't believe you were really going to stand there and watch me use the bathroom. I mean how perverted can you get after that?" she said to herself as she followed him. She didn't mind eating the lettuce Vic gave her. "Thank you." I mean if it was all he had then it was al he had. Mina didn't eat too much of it. She was trying to save it for later.
