She was a little nervous, since she typically stayed away from people. She was sure she'd be fine as long as someone didn't run away screaming, though. It'll be fine. Well, time moves forward...
Assai smiled when he watched the girls returning. He had his Sand gourd on his back, but he put a small distance between his back and the sand gourd with the chair. He hadn't minded at all. He smiled at them while he continued to eat his food. "I feel like what I got was a bit strange now." He commented lightly, staring at their trays with a bit of amazement. Of course, he didn't really mind. He just wanted to get a small conversation going between them.

She smiles at Sai then shakes her head."Its not awkward. i only get this at my birthdays at home so i saw it and wanted to get it again.."She stretches her arms out and accidentally hits both of them in the head.."oops! sorry!"

When she stretched and hit Shira, she froze, seeing a scene where Safyre defeated a person that she didn't know. The scene turned white, then she saw a warrior marking her arm with a feather tattoo. Then, she was back in the present.
Shira jumped away from Safyre and Assai. "What does a feather stand for?" _______________________________________

Well, time moves forward...
Staring at his food a bit, he listened to what Safyre had said and still believed that what he had was still strange compared to what they had, but in the end, he felt a bit better about what he had. "That's pretty cool." He said, smiling as he took another bite of his food. He was eating when he say Safyre stretching out a bit, where he tried to move, but his gourd was stuck. He was hit, but he moved his head a bit to try and keep the hit from being too major. "Saffy." He called out, rubbing his head and staring at her angered. Of course, he was playing with her.
When he heard Shira speaking of what a feather represented, he was confused. He had no close as to what a Feather meant. "Sorry, I don't know anything about birds, so I can't really help." He informed her as he made the attempt to playfully push Saffy. "Why do you want to know?" He asked, curiously smiling at Shira.

She grins at Sai."Hey! i said sorry!.."She stopped moving almost stopped breathing in shock at Shira's question, then she reached down and touched her left arm with the feather tattoos that represented each kill she had made in her countries war. she spoke quietly and almost scarily calm to Shira"How do you know about that?"

She looks up at Shira with a flash of rage in her eyes then it calms."I don’t know why it’s your concern but whatever."She shrugs and looks directly into the girls eyes as she speaks with almost no emotion"my people are at war and have been for a really long time. there are two sides in this war the Seelie and the Unseelie. i am part of the Unseelie and have been fighting in this war for a while. The FEATHERS represent every kill i have made in the war. There is a feather for EVERY Seelie murderer that has tried to kill me or my grandmother."She speaks bluntly emphasizing the words Feathers and Every when she spoke.

His eyes followed each of them as they spoke and felt the tension between them rising, which caused Assai to believe he must interfere. "So! This academy is really amazing, isn't it?" He asked them, looking out at the windows to see the amazing academy. At this point, he hoped that they would fall for it.

She smirks then reaches forward."See my life."She closes her own eyes and sends memories of her family dieing at the hands of the same men she killed."See my pain."She shows her the scene after getting her first tattoo. how she looked at it for hours and thinking about what she had done. how she had thrown up after it. how she hated to take lives but that it was the only way for her to live. she showed her countless scenes of how each person she had a feather had died. she knew all of their names and spoke them as she showed shira their deaths. she showed the different things they had done to deserve it. they had tried to kill her grandmother, her brothers, her family. she showed how she almost couldnt live with herself for having to kill to save herself. she even showed the one time she thought about killing herself to end it all..

"Revenge brings death, which spawns more hate and more revenge." She muttered, looking at Safyre steadily. "I'm not saying that you're a bad person for defending yourself." Shira paused, considering her words. "But there are always ways besides more death." She told her, raising her chin a little defiantly.
