"Tch... you wasted my time.... " Shadow walked away.

Sonic shrugged, "I guess I can't force you..." He walked away as well.

"I'm Sonic! Sonic The Hedgehog!" The blue hedgehog smirked, "And grumpy here is--"

"Shadow The Hedgehog." Shadow glared at Sonic.

"Yeah... Shadow." Sonic then nodded, "I'm not here to recruit anyone. I'm here to help whoever needs the hospitality... before grumpy here destroys everything he touches...."

"I'm here for strong recruits to end this war against the humans... who want to take away all of our rights!" Shadow raised his fist. "And you, Jewel, can be of use for our army I'm building. Together, we can stop and destroy these pathetic, dominating species known as humans... and regain our freedom we deserve!"

Sonic sighed, "Fighting won't solve anything....?"

"Not they need any food..." Shadow scoffed.

Sonic shrugged, "We have plenty of food back in camp. It's hidden so no one will be stealing anything..."

*beep beep beep* , went a watch that was strapped on Sonic's wrist.

"Sonic? You there?" Someone said.

Sonic and Shadow looked over at the teenagers. Shadow shrugged, "Whatever... let the humans treat us like animals and no respect. You will realize that this war is meant for the sake of our freedom not just for power." He began walking away, "I'm going to find more recruits to fight."

"You can still come along if you need a place to stay. We're not fighting." Sonic shrugged. "Except me who needs to talk some sense to Shadow."

"Sure thing. Take care of yourself, all right?" Sonic nodded and left.

As for Shadow, he arrives at his hideout along with his followers. His followers consisted nothing but Mobians everywhere and there are millions who follow him around the world.

"Boss, we caught a couple of human spies trying to gather information about us." A canine Mobian came in.

"Bring them." Shadow said, standing and staring at the canine Mobian.

Two other dog Mobians brought in the humans spies, who were tired up. They were being thrown to the ground.

Shadow stared at them, "I'm pretty sure you know the punishment of entering my territory without permission?"

"Don't worry, Shadow. We will take all of you down. You will soon realize this war was a waste of time!" One of the humans said, "All of you are nothing but animals. Dirty filthy animals!"

"You can call them that... Animals... Sure... that's what they are... Except one thing. Actually two." Shadow said, slowly walked up to the humans, "They all have the right to live like all of you. After this war, I will make sure your kind will all fall to your knees for forgiveness and become their slaves if they choose to make you all slaves..." He then looked at his own hand, "Also... I'll make sure you humans will not control this..." His hand glowed. He raised his hand and finally both humans screamed.

There was blood everywhere on the floor. Even some got on Shadow. He was wiping off the blood off him after one of his followers gave him a towelette, "Clean this mess up... Prepare them for the speech... We will make sure that this will be an example to NEVER get in our way!" He said, infuriated.

His followers cheered and the cheering continued loudly and echoed far.

Sonic stopped and his ears twitched, hearing the cheering only slightly, "Hmm..."

The tvs that are in the destroyed tv shop turned on, well the working ones that is and Shadow is on the screen. Even the giant electric billboards has Shadow's face on it.

"Greetings, humans. As you know, I'm Shadow The Hedgehog and I'm not in a happy of all moods as of now. I believe I have mentioned that if any humans get caught in my lands... in MY borders, they will be eliminated... like these."

The camera turned to the two humans spies that were killed by Shadow. They were hanging from a rope.

"As you can see none of you have taken my threat seriously... So I will commence our plan to wipe you all out in one take..."

The camera then moved to showing the Chaos Emeralds Shadow had collected. There are only 6 of them.

"Yes... As you see, I have 6 of them... I may not have 7 in total... but 6 is enough to give me power to find your hideouts and wipe them from existence... You have 24 hours to surrender to us or I will kill you all..."


Sonic was standing outside of the tv shop. He looked shocked, "Can't believe he got all 6... so quickly..." He then held out a Chaos Emerald, a green one, "He only needs this one.. Gotta make sure he doesn't get a hold of this... but I gotta help those humans before Shadow gets to them in 24 hours!."

Sonic became startled and looked over, "Huh? A wolf?" He then smiled and looked at the wolf and bent down, "Hey fella... lost?"
