~Morning Meia had greeted nonchalantly, deciding not to further violate Will’s person as she wisely chose to take the route over to Cerberus by bed and not by padding over Will’s dead body. Will shifted himself almost immediately, tempted to yank Meia’s tail, being the ever so thoughtful “brother” he was. However, the dragon resisted as Meia attempted to wake the lumbering snoring mutt. Perhaps, the mutt would wake and then chase the fox around.

After all, that was exactly what had happened the first time Meia transformed into a fox in Cerberus’s presence. The black hound had “Mrr”-ed and then tilted its head in response to the sudden appearance of the fox in place of the human. However, its brief moment of confusion had immediately melted into a “ohhh…. Let’s chase it!” thought. And so, Will stood with an amused expression in the center of a circle as he watched the small fox and a large dog lap around him several times before taking the chase to around the wider berth of the area. Eventually, Meia the fox got smart and managed to climb atop Will and sit on his head. Alas, Cerbs the mutt hadn’t taken the hint and had leapt for Meia anyway and tackled Will in the process…. After a good scolding from Will, Cerbs supposedly learned not to chase Meia fox around.

But that had been in the past, occurring in the last three days. Today was a new day with some potential out of the ordinary occurrences, some of which had already occurred during the wee dark hours of the morning. Will looked at the dog. Cerbs had opened an eye and moved off the dragon’s legs after Meia nuzzled it. There was no chasing of the fox as Meia had taken human form.

”Mrrr?”

It wanted food again. Of course. ”Off the bed, Cerbs.” That furry moocher wasn’t getting any food while lounging in the bed. Will was starting to think that the mutt’s previous owner was a lost cause.

Anyhow, With the weights off him awake, the dragon prepared himself for the rest of the day as Meia did whatever she was doing. But it wasn’t too long before William felt Meia’s slight anxiety.

“William I think we should go home. Today. This morning.”

”Hmm?” The dragon turned to look at his bond; she was already looking at him and dressed with a mere towel. ”Oh? What’s with the sudden urge for urgency?” the blonde asked jokingly. Will knew why. ”Alright, well, then get a move on it, kiddo. If they want a world war, how glorious and chaotic it will be, and in the future, everyone will remember the facts wrong and make up s**t.” Will smirked and chuckled. ”Nothing has changed, Meia. It’s just business as usual.”

Totally not sisters or related. Well, duh. But that’s why Will had asked the question. But the blonde devil had simply smiled like an ordinary person after the make out session and said something along the lines of ”Oh, please don’t stop just because we’re here. We’re enjoying it as much as you and that girl with the beet red face is.” The young man ignored Rondo’s disapproval of his “bear pun” and then chuckled at the whole Ekon and Rondo interaction. Things had calmed, and indeed for the next three days, they were calm.

Too calm.

On the first day, Will had become acquainted more acquainted with Amelie, Evie, Ekon, Rondo (ok, they’re already friends … so I guess it’s not just acquainted), and with Sahai’s motley crew of lost lambs led by the gal who was sure to have more make out sessions randomly with cat girl Amelie, and whoever else was part of Sahai’s group(I’m confused… who’s NOT in Sahai’s group??? So, maybe Will only got acquainted with a couple of them… BAHAHAH RUN ON SENTENCEEEEE!!!!). As usual, the Maestro did what he did best: act normal and observe the s**t out of everything so he could use the knowledge for the future.

And so, one day passed.

Two days passed. The electrokinetic had also explored more of the island, meaning to disable cameras when the time came, and steered himself away from random tone deaf singing he had unfortunately happened upon. A little jamming on his violin did wonders to tune the terrible cacophony out. That same night, the blonde silently cursed the warden for things being so freaking calm and boring since he had gotten used to the battle royales happening more frequently. But the blonde could be patient. At this point, Will had resorted to innocently manipulating NPCs he had met on the island to antagonize each other when he figured out their personalities. It would take several days or more to build up some of the more interesting clashes or drama, so if the warden was going to take his sweet time, Will could too. The musician could keep himself busy.

While not everyone was peaceful and happy go lucky, Will noticed that various people seemed to build stronger bonds or hang out more often. For example, Ekon and Rondo seemed to relatively good chemistry. At least Rondo had a steady supply of scones now….ah…. scones to toss at people. It was about time there was a scone war scone fight. Oh wait. That had already happened before.( Anyways, moving on!)

Third day. Still nothing. Alright, warden. Don’t disappoint me now. I see what you’re doing.

As if on cue, it start snowing confetti. ….you disappoint. The look on William’s face was deadpan and remained deadpan as the siren sounded and the warden delivered a puntastic message. The warden was trying too hard. It was showing. It was boring.

Halfway through the warden’s not-so-huggable announcement, a flash of long blue hair on a munchkin(Bae)caught Will’s attention. As he continued to listen to the warden’s onslaught of continually overused puns, his eyes followed the kid slowly trudge by and then stop close to him. He had a feeling, an odd feeling as if he was having de ja vu. But then the warden mentioned “bearial”. So bloody bad no one would even think you’re a bipolar bear. ********. That was bad.

And then the mass shocking rave began. By instinct which he could not explain, Will immediately reached a hand toward the blue haired boy as fast as lightning while not contacting the kid. The electricity which would have entered the blue haired child instead went to Will, where it was harmlessly absorbed by the electrokinetic. Perhaps, Will was even delighted at the thought of the massacre, but he already knew he couldn’t be shocked to death. Alas, there was so much electricity to take advantage of here. Being the opportunistic man he was, Will took the free electricity and began gathering it.

But. The boredom. The ******** warden had robbed him of fun by killing these Power Fulls that he had planned to manipulate further. And so Will laughed as he took in the bountiful electricity around him. In anger of course. Not those psychotic chortles at the sight of being overjoyed at seeing pain and suffering(ok maybe that could come maybe later down the line in the future when he shows his true self). Anger. Anger of being deprived of fun. Anger of the information he had gathered on others being useless if they were now dead. Ok, more just the anger of being deprived of fun.

And so, people in the area might have heard angry laughter from a random blonde Power Full in the midst of all the screams and shocking and deaths. You’re next, …..bearden piece of s**t. Although I must thank you properly for all this electricity. The warden was clearly next since there was no way Will could forgive those who had put him on the island or deprived him of his entertainment, and Will certainly planned to make full use of the plentiful energy Will had gathered into himself.

When it was all done, the warden apparently decided he had to insert more puns and time it so he could end the chat with a flourishing CRASH. A sadistic smile graced Will’s face for a moment before melting away just as quickly. Alright, fine. Perhaps, these “friends” could just be warmup before the warden could make an appearance. With that unsaid and done, the blonde directed his gaze down to at the blue haired toddler who apparently had been one of the few who had survived. ”Hey, you alright?” he asked strangely warmly as if he were the child's guardian; he was back to being normal. Only time and travel would tell who had survived. It would be a pity if everyone he knew had perished before they could be used.

Uncle Will? Did Will look that old? He was only 20. “Uncle” made him sound like an old fogey. Then again, this munchkin certainly did look the part of being younger than everyone else, a talkative crying bawling toddler…. A tiny squirt of a kid that somehow knew his name. It couldn’t have been a chance guess. Maybe the kid had simply overheard him interact with others before and remembered his name. But the “Uncle” was just random.

That train of thought ended when the blonde became rather amused at this red faced half scowling squirt’s antics. This “Baelfyre”, which Will assumed was the munchkin’s name, was a shapeshifter, and had invaded his arms, which fortunately for the kid were not still brimming from electricity he had gathered. ”Sure, sure… ferocious hatchling,” the blonde poked sarcastically. He smirked. Strangely enough, he didn’t feel bothered by the little chubby cute dragon inviting himself into Will’s arms. ”Alright, Bae,” the blonde started, instinctively shortening Baelfyre’s name without realizing it. ”You are hereby dubbed Squishy, and you shall be mine,” Maestro declared lightheartedly as he stroked Bae’s dragon head and then nuggy-ed the squirt. It was rather strange that Will instinctively warmed to the little kid as if Bae were family…like a little nephew, but who knows…. Maybe we’ll never find out why, and maybe Will won’t either!

Selis the Youth
Where: Verin's place
With: Verin
OOC: >.< Tell if I needs to change anything, Hakachu

Twas before the early morn, just a wee bit before the sun decided to crawl out from behind the mountain. Throughout the Silva house, all was quiet and not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse. At least, that what’s those sleeping certainly desired. Alas, that was not the case.

The soft pitter pattering of two sets of feet belonging to two large mice echoed slightly down a hallway as a blonde kid and his twin red haired sister tip toed to the door of their big sister’s bedroom, slowly opened the door, and quickly slipped into the room unannounced without a care.

Their big sister, Selis, was nestled all snug in her bed, all comfy and relaxed, mind perhaps filled with visions of instruments dancing in her head. So deep in her sleep was she that she never heard the light clatter or the dull thunk of a bucket holding ice cold water as it was strung up and hung right above her head.

Mischievous smirks graced the twins’ lips as they nodded as each other, separating the blanket covering their dear sister and then lifting part of her clothes so that her belly was revealed. The two tiptoed away to the door and then from beneath their robes was revealed the longest feathery feather ever. Withholding giggles, the two teenage manipulators of the every so fluffy feather carefully edged it closer to their big sister’s soft skin, and then released all hell in feathery ticklish fury…

Such a sudden funny sensation it was, so much so that Selis Silva sprang up, unfortunately, without the armor of a crustacean, only to meet the hard wooden wall of the weighted bucket. Her eyes widened as she tried to roll out of the way in the split moment after contact, but it was just a tad too late. ”AAHH!” With a silent vendetta, the ice cold water rocketed down in a torrent, soaking the brown haired musician to the skin and bone. ”Will! Em!” she cried as she landed on the floor, clutching the shady evil feather weapon of tickling.

"Morning, big sis", the twins greeted in unison, their eyes twinkling mischievously while they innocently smiled.

Of course. Selis sighed as she tried to get up. No longer was she comfy and warm. She was cold and wet, and she needed a tow---- CLUNK.

"We got you a towel, sis~" offered Ember with a loving smile.

Indeed they had. With another sigh, Selis removed the towel from her head and began to dry herself. "Did you really have to do that, you two?"

"Ah, but we wanted to make sure you were up in time for dad's birthday~" the blonde William replied coyly with a smirk.

That's right. It was their father's birthday today, and they had plans. However... "I thought the idea was to NOT wake up everyone in the house." Because...with such a reaction from Selis to a prank like this, it was certain her yell would wake others in the house.

"Oh, we got that covered, right, Em?"

"Yup! We stuffed their ears!"

To which, Selis gave a deadpan stare. "Well, run along now. I'm awake. Let me change in peace, you two. Let me get Verin. You two can hold down the fort in the mean time, right?"

"Heh. You can count on us, Sel~"

And then, they were gone just as silently as they had arrived in her room, but Selis knew that smirk. The brunette quickly changed and got ready before the twins decided to come back and poke fun at her more. She'd probably have to dodge another prank when she returned with Verin.

With a smile, the Youth of the Holy Knights slipped out of the house and into the simmering Khaovlen streets. The sun's rays were just visible as it were yawning and struggling to awaken as well. Surely, the sun could use some help from her younger siblings sometimes.

Why had she wanted to invite Verin anyway? People were not trusting of demons in general, but Selis wanted to just treat the demon like a friend. Besides, they had already talked about this day already. All she had to do was make sure he was awake.

Calmly, Selis made her way through the light streets until she arrived at Verin's place. The patient girl knocked on the lazy demon's door, but there was no response. He was still sleeping, wasn't he? With a sigh, the brunette turned the door handle and entered. Smart demon. Leaving doors unlocked. Then again, who would step into this dark room? Perhaps, if the sun were up higher, it would reveal more of the room. Selis could make out the outlines of random piles in the room, and she could make out a bump on the bed. It could only be Verin.

But first things first. Selis took a couple steps toward the window and tripped. The room was like a field full of prairie dog holes with all this random objects scattered on the floor. Slowly, Selis balanced herself, following the wall until she finally reached the window. The human opened the curtains, freeing the way for more light to flow into the room. "Verin! Wake up!"

No response, but she could at least make her way easier over to the bed now. She could clearly see Verin sprawled on top of his bed as if he hadn't a care in the world. Was this how she appeared to the twins before they had pranked her this morning? She shook her head as her hand brushed against a certain long feathery feather on her person. Ah, maybe that could be put into good use. With a small smile, Selis positioned the feather tip from afar so that it was at Verin's nose. If this didn't work, she'd physically kick him out of bed. And so... the tickling began...

                                          If you think Selis and her mother, Kel, are great with music, then Will's got it easy. As much as it's unfair, Will is a music prodigy, able to learn and play any musical instrument or just make music without effort. Music comes so naturally to him that it's unnatural. He can sing too. If you hear about some random kid jamming on a piano in a cabaret, there's a chance it could be him.

                                          For some odd reason, even if demons have languages unintelligible to humans...whether it be random animal grunts or not, Will is able to understand them and communicate with them. He is also able to communicate with them telepathically. That would be so much more useful if he could communicate that way with humans, but for some reason, he hasn't be able to make too much progress on that. He has succeeded in pranking Selis once, but only once by projecting into her head. All other attempts have not worked so far. Unfortunately, sometimes, Will might be unintentionally telepathically broadcasting some of this thoughts to demons without realizing. Luckily for him (or maybe unluckily), it's usually him thinking of trying not to be bored.

                                          Will and his twin, Ember, help their father make weapons, so they know about making weapons, although they don't know as much as Pasqua since they haven't been in practice as long. Will also enjoys building and crafting things, some of which he uses for pranks. He is pretty handy.

                                          ▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀▀ᴀʙᴏᴜᴛ
                                          Will and his lovable twin Ember are the youngest in the Silva family, but don't be fooled. Just because they are the babies doesn't mean they are all innocent. They certainly bring the saying of "terrible twos" to life in a different manner through their mischief, pranks, and generally doing stuff they aren't supposed to do ....such as sneaking out to dangerous areas. In fact, Greenie describes Will as "an enigma wrapped in sushi stuffed in a blowfish". Anyhow, this blonde kid holds an affinity for demons (an adorable 3 headed hell hound) and may have a taste for even the most violent of demons. He has always found them more interesting than humans, and maybe he secretly wants to be their king. *cough cough hack cough cough* Will and his twin Ember are also very charismatic...so.....

Selis the Youth
Where: Silva Household
With: Verin, Rowen, NPCs (Cam, Kel, Ember, Will)
OOC: THIS IS PRE EVENT POST. Hakachu, feel free to make up stuff for Kel, Cam, Will, Selis, and so on. Let me know if you want me to edit. I left out the Verin presenting stuff to Cam, so you can do that LOL. Also, you can start our event post cuz peeps attacking!

A feeling of success and, perhaps, slight glee filled Selis’s heart for a moment as Verin snoozed epically, rivalling that of an elephant’s sneeze…except Verin was a bit more animated since he wasn’t as heavy. That feeling of glee drowned as her demon comrade began to ramble, exclaimed his excitement at “Free food!”, and busy himself into moving around, and the small smile on her face melted away into a stoic expression that begged to turn into one of those famous DeScythe smiles. Patience, Selis. He is still learning… the brown haired girl internally thought to herself as Verin rambled on and began to find “gifts”. Junk. Father? Found in the trash? What the heck was that? Was that supposed to be a three headed dog? Sounded like something Will would find interesting instead of her father, Cameron. There was nothing else to be said about it. Selis’s contracted demon buddy was a junk collector. The saying that “your junk could be another’s treasure” certainly rang true with the blonde demon. At least, the demon’s heart was in the right place, right?

“But, I think father will appreciate it more—OH! It is probably already rather late! Selis! Stop standing there with your mouth opened like a fish! Hurry up, lazy!”

”Lazy?! Who’s the one that didn’t get up in the first place?!” Selis sputtered as she was thoroughly ferried out of Verin’s quaint junkyard shack. ”Aren’t you going to change?!” He was still in whatever clothes he slept in. Before she could even protest any further, Verin blabbered on about hunger and meat pies and silly stupid overkill items. Really? Go into the Reclaimed? No….they would not go that low into barbaric ways. It wasn’t the safest of things either. What idiot would go parading out into the open like that begging to meet danger? ”No, Verin! This is just a small family get together inside the house to celebrate my father’s birthday! No drama!” As she said that, she couldn’t help but feel she had made an oxymoron of a comment. The twins were bound to do something to Cameron that could be considered drama. With a sigh, Selis softly added, ”Mother made some meat pie, but you should be on your best behavior!” as they arrived at the door to Selis’s home. Selis had helped her mother in prepping the meat pie, but that wasn’t important.

Rowen greeted them first as they entered. “Hey, Sely. Go take a look at Dad before he gets it all washed off. You’ll never believe what the twins did to him…Morning Verin,”

”Morning, Ro~” Selis blinked and then blinked again, muffling a giggle at the sight of the pink frilly apron on Ro. ”On his birthday?” The brunette shook her head as Ember rocketed in and glomped Verin. There was no sign of Ember’s twin brother, but Will no doubt would follow soon to greet Verin. The twins always did seem more lively than she and Rowen around Verin. Got him good? Wash? The brunette just had to run toward the water pump now since even Rowen had been amused. ”She’s right, Ro. You could have invited her anyway!” she chimed as she made off to the water pump.

~~~~~~~~~
The brunette haired bearded and mustached Cameron Silva was just jollily jousting with the honey and feather on his person with the help of the streaming water pump. The twins had gotten smarter and somehow managed to target him without raising Keladri’s ire. The prank had been strangely messy for him, but clean for everyone and everywhere else…save for the trail Cam left when he charged to the water pump. By the time Selis (and Verin if he followed Selis to peek) saw him, most of the feathers were already on the ground.
”Father!” Selis called out as she shook her head. ”Feathers? Really?” She had to giggle.
”Oh, morning, Sely. You children are always keeping good old daddy on his toes. Well, I should be----” A torrent of feathers suddenly fell out of nowhere and covered Cam again. Despite the honey mostly being washed off, the water still allowed some of the feathers to stick to the Silva patriarch. ”Snowing feathers…heh… Will?”
”Morning again, father! You’re only getting lighter with age!” came an ever so cheerful response from above. Selis looked up and spotted Ember’s twin brother holding an empty bag, the bag held out in outstretched arms from a window on the second floor. Almost too soon, there was a loud KERPLUNK as a Selis relived the experience of having a towel tossed on her person earlier through her father.
”Alright, enough of that, lad. Let’s have breakfast before Mother starts whipping out that scary smile of hers. You two go on ahead while I get changed.”
As if on cue, Keladri the matriarch’s voice sounded from inside the house. ”Breakfast is ready!”
~~~~~~~~~

It wasn’t long before everyone except Cameron gathered. Upon seeing the demon Verin, Keladri scolded him for his attire. ”Young man, you look as if you simply got out of bed and came. Manners, Verin.” Being a mother of five children, she knew quite well how to spot laziness, manners, and typical bed head.

Will, on the other hand, chirped innocently, ”Oh, Sely probably kicked him off of the bed~” The twin poked Ember, and the two stared curiously at the basket that Verin held. The blonde twin blinked and arched an eyebrow before chuckling. A certain disfigured three headed dog carving was in there. ”I was wondering where that went,” he whispered softly to her.

Selis glared at her younger brother Will. ”I did not kick him off the bed!”

”Well, it can’t be helped this time, but Verin will learn, won’t you, Verin?" Keladri tutted. She looked at Rowen. Rowen, I was expecting Odette~” Indeed, the table had been set for eight people, and the food that Rowen and Keladri had finished cooking were on the center family style.

Finally, Cameron arrived changing clothes and drying himself off. Everyone chorused a “Happy Birthday” as he sat down. ”Ah, well, now, how about some breakfast? I heard all of you kids chipped in. Thanks. Makes an old man like me feel young again.” With a sideward glance at Will and Ember, Cam added steadily, ”With no worms this time, right?” He smirked slightly as Keladri began to serve food and then resorted to passing around the food so everyone could take their own. ”Verin, it is good of you to join us. Thank you for taking care of Selis.”

Internally, Selis puzzled over her father's comment. Wait. Who's taking care of who here?! She felt like a babysitter sometimes.

Blissfully unaware of Selis's thoughts, Cameron nodded as Keladri set aside some of her delish meat pie for Verin. As they began to eat, he glanced at Rowen. ”Ah, and how is Odette?”

                                          Gender: Male
                                          Occupation: A relic of the past
                                          Side: Laia?

                                          Personality: It is hard to read Armand, and people say he's a train wreck prankster. Adjectives used to describe Armand include: "Courageous, Random, Mischievous, Lighthearted, Cheerful, Stubborn, Patient, Agreeable, Silly, Friendly, Humorous, Energetic, Clever, Eccentric.....Evil." It is entirely possible that someone coined Armand as "evil" because Armand pranked that someone far too much.

                                          The red head never has any ill intentions. He also has absolutely no shame and an extremely long fuse. The smiley Armand is never ever serious, and even if he is, it is hard to tell from his demeanor. He occasionally enjoys chaos and shirks his duties randomly, often leaving others to pick up after him. In rare times, he will get somewhat serious. However, the key word is “somewhat.” Armand is mischievous at the core after all and enjoys exploring, whether that means exploring physical places or the breadth of someone else’s reactions. Seriously, talking to him can be like talking to a wall sometimes. He also does not favor violence and would much rather see the good in people. He is also the type to take in orphans as he was one.

                                          History:
                                          Once upon a time, there was a genius mischievous red haired child named Armand, who never seemed to follow directions and warnings, no matter how dangerous the situation. Perhaps, this behavior was partially due to his parents not having much time for him and being killed in accident when he was still very young. After their deaths, he was sent to an orphanage.

                                          Life went on from there. Mandy was a bright kid, a quick learner, and became a scholar.... who used knowledge or pranks as a daily habits....Anyhow, all you need to know is Mandy was awesome and not a warmonger. In fact, he was a peaceful guy (although some might argue there were prank wars)....Even wars could be put on hiatus from his baking, but alas, even those baked goods couldn't prevent the wars from happening.

                                          Skills: Armand is the god of cooking, or he would be, if there was one. He is able to make anything delicious, even with minimal supplies that don't look like much. His specialty particularly is in baking. His cooking can melt hearts and make people (and their tummies) very happy. Oh, but be careful. Armand is a great prankster too, so there may be pranks in his food.

                                          Biokenisis allows Armand the ability to shapeshift, heal, change his appearance, and.... maybe even duplicate himself, but the original will appear smaller, and the duplicate will be even smaller... If he touches others, he may be able to induce effects to others as well.

                                          Armand may be a walking encyclopedia on magic.....maybe....

                                          [TO BE FINISHED ]

Hmph. Try not to drop her? Of course Will would drop her since she had kindly asked him to, but maybe not quite yet. They soon reached a town, with Raine in the lead. The knight maybe even seemed slightly delighted that they had found a bigger town than she expected. That ancient weapon, which Will assumed, was related this Altaria immediately caught someone’s attention as a blue haired woman perked up by them and then asked them if they wanted to rest up, specifically gesturing toward his foxy human, who was snoozing in his arms.

”Yes, we are travelers on a sight seeing trip,” Will answered the blue haired NPC woman with a normal welcoming smile. ”Oh, a tavern? A welcome offer, which we would be happy to accept, milady.” The dragon was being amicable, appearing to be just a typical well meaning gentleman. He glanced at Syico’s partner. ”A little rest and some drink seems welcome here, Raine, after traveling in the heat. Perhaps, this young lady can give us tips on where to visit in town. ” He would follow the blue haired lady

The blonde then glanced down at Meia and then poked her. ~Meia, we’re at town. Want to go to a tavern or…walk around the marketplace and smell food?~ Will asked telepathically in a playful manner. The human probably was just going to keep sleeping since she was rather tired. But the dragon poked again anyway, seeing if Meia would respond.

However, as he was poking her and ignoring potential stares from the blue haired tavern owner and Raine, he did notice a brown haired man staring in their direction from behind a stall. Perhaps, the man was trying to hide, but Will could see that the brown haired man was… ogling Meia and maybe the tavern owner…and perhaps, even Raine. Will could almost instinctively sense that the guy was enjoying being a peeping tom, the guy’s eyes darting back and forth and his mouth moving ever so slightly. Will’s ears picked up the guy’s soft self comments.

”Oh...yes. That chick, if she could only get out of that guy’s arms so I could get a full view…ah, yes… dude, move that arm up, so I can see the---ah.. the blue haired beaut with those boobs...”

Yup, definitely ogling.

”Huh… what’s with that short haired girl…seems to be a tomboy, but… not such a bad looker… pales in comparison to the other two..”

Well, this would be sure to wake Meia up, if she could hear him....and maybe get Raine riled up too...

The next time, the brown haired peeper opened his mouth, his self whispers came out as shouting, but Will made it so that the man didn't realize until half way through his words. "Oh yeah....maybe swap that chick's black hair with the blue hair..hm... I guess the short hair could use some make up... heh. And that's why I'm Hawkeye----wait... " Perhaps, the blue haired tavern owner would know that this brown haired man's nickname was "Skirteye" for his peeping habits in town.

And so Will waited for reactions from everyone, especially, Meia, Raine, and the tavern owner.

William and Nyx
User Image
Where: Le Toran Camp between Esaria/Laia
With: Seth, Nyx, Will
OOC: Look who's being nice...again.
Will is in blue. Nyx in darkred
Link to Violin: The Violin Music
For Star's use, we used this to count syllables to the song, and then used the translation to mod the lyrics.

----------------------------

William ignored Seth's outbursts and attempts at brushing Will off and turning away. The deed was done. Little Seth was back to being unslithered Seth. Now, if he could just calm down and stop embarrassing himself...oh wait, that was probably too much to ask for him. The younger soldier was flustered and just didn't want to admit he needed help. Well, what this young kid needed to learn was that it was ok to ask for help and not do everything by himself. But the kid was still stuck going through puberty from the looks of it. Before Will could say, they could eat together as comrades (and probably talk maybe), Nyx came up, as if detecting disaster about to occur.

Nyx offered them sweets, and Seth adamantly declared he couldn't be won over by sweets...but then immediately asked where they were. Will hid a smirk. "Oh? Pie?" He accepted the tea from Nyx and thanked her.

"You're very welcome Sir William. And the donuts are in my saddle bag I think Sir Seth." Nyx answered Seth, smiling kindly. "I can get them in a moment."

The girl then asked if Will could accompany her on violin while she sang and then also asked if Seth wanted to join them. Nyx hinted the unspoken question practically everyone in the camp wanted to know. Seth answered innocently yet in a semi retorting way. So.... did he have a crush on the Laian princess? Will chuckled. "It's just friendly chatter we're having here, Seth. Over dinner... as always." He sipped his stew. "Sure, Nyx, I'd be happy to accompany you." He glanced at Seth, noticing that the boy's face seemed to be slightly pinker than usual. "A mean pranking jerk? Oh? Seth, are you being too chicken to sing? I could always pie you in the face if you don't, but I am offering you a piece of pie to eat instead. A mean pranking jerk could never do that, hmm?"Welp, the mean pranking jerk just did.

Nyx finished up her stew and looked over at Seth. She had to agree that he was sulking more than usual, but it was a long day. Though she was hoping it was a spark she saw between the Princess and him. "Sir Seth I didn't mean it in that way. Of course, you were right to be friendly. I was just wondering...perhaps a particular kind of friendship?" Nyx was always something of a romantic. But maybe it was too early to tell just yet.

As for the sing, Nyx was disappointed that Seth wouldn't sing with her. She noticed the faint pinkness of his cheeks. Stage fright? "It's okay Sir Seth. Maybe you could sing along if we do something you know." She stood up, "I'll be back with the donuts. Sir William, think of a song. Something everyone would like."

Will smiled as he thought. Well, what was a well known song that everyone would recognize in both kingdoms. A lighthearted song. Ahmm... he knew the perfect song. It was a song that had been quite popular lately, and he had totally overheard someone near Laia singing it on the short ride in which he "borrowed" the chicken back near Laia city. The tune was quite catchy and wasn't too hard to follow along. "Hey, it'll be fun. I'll be the background music or chorus, and you and Nyx can sing."

Meanwhile, Nyx hurried back to her tent where most of the sweets were still in her saddlebag. There was still quite a bit left. She took out the remaining boxes and brought them over to the fire first. All except the donut's and Will's pie. That she brought over to Will and Seth, "There you are. Just...the princess was rather fond of the donuts too. Perhaps you should save one for her." Nyx added.

Will nodded in agreement to Nyx's statement. First, they had to disarm Seth and get him to stop thinking about the entire day. "And how about a piece of pie for the three of us for good luck," he joked. "For the song we shall sing shall be 'Despacito'"

It was Nyx's turn to turn a faint shade of pink. She knew that song. EVERYBODY knew that song. It was a famous drinking song from the northern isles. "A-are you sure?" But of course, he was sure. Almost every time she was within throwing distance of a tavern she got requests for that song. The words were just so....scandalous. It started innocent enough but..."Okay...um....we'll start when you get your violin. I think I'll pass on the pie until later."

The older blonde knight grinned and then looked at Nyx and Seth. "It is a very popular song, even popular in Laia, you two. So there's a good chance the Laians know it too." He stood up, having finished his stew. Will had sliced pieces in the pie anyway if anyone decided to have a piece or changed their mind. "Alright, I'll be right back"

It wasn't long before the blonde maestro had returned with his trusty violin. "Ready?" With a wink at Seth and Nyx, he turned to face everyone else at camp, whether they cared or not. Because of the position of where the motley trio(Seth, Nyx, and Will) were, it almost seemed like they were performing on a stage because everyone was facing them. Will wasn't planning on staying still. The song should be lively enough to get some people to dance. If not, he sure as hell could make it lively enough.

With a flourish and a bow to no one, Will began a light soft tune on his violin, which turned into a spicy prelude to the main event, where Nyx would start to sing.

The moment Will started to play, it was almost as if Nyx became a different person. There was something about music that got inside her and tugged at her soul. Even if it was just a northern drinking song. She stood slowly, listening to the bow slide across the violin until it was her turn to cut in. When she began to sing, Nyx's hands came up, moving with the rhythm.

I...I was staring at the blue ocean and thinking of you
Waiting for the time when you return
You...I saw the look in your eyes you were calling for me
I miss you, why can't you dance with me today
?

The violin music kept going, and Will even begun to sway and tap foot against the ground to make a sort of beat to add to the violin. Then, they were ready for Seth to jump in if Seth decided to. Will glanced at Seth as he played. Since he was on the violin, if Seth delayed or started late, the blonde knight could always adjust the violin to match Seth's speed.

Well, look at Kali, sounding all that derogatory toward Nyx. It was almost as if Kali was jealous of her older “sister”. Well, then, Kali had a link to this captain Chrom then, one that would be hard to sever, the debt of gratitude for being saved from who knows where. Adopting her just got a tad harder. Will only chuckled when Kali laid out more information and then spoke of them volunteering since it was their home. ”No, Kali, that is something I know all pirates believe no matter what. If you wanted that taken away from you, I wouldn’t oblige.” he said in response to the girl. …yeah, because if I was going to take that away, it would have been the efforts of the pirate wars…but you’re not all dead, are you? I’m glad. That meant my efforts didn’t go to waste. Maybe Kali or Nyx or even Castro would notice that Will actually meant what he said. There was no sarcasm. ”Sweet dreams, Tuna.” he bid Kali as she climbed down into the wagon.

Well, if the wolves were being used, then that went along with what he had played around with earlier. Experiments? Or maybe not simply contained experiments from the sounds of what Kali said. The blonde knight was of the opinion that any foe that could be used should be used. So, this was a perfectly logical use of these strange wolves that Kali mentioned. However, from the sounds of it, it didn’t seem they would be used for anything peaceful. However, her comment about the prince’s troupe being so far south bothered him….

Since there was no response from Logan at all, Logan clearly didn’t hear anything. He’d take up Kali’s suggestion. ”Nyx, I’m going to chat with Logan.” he said, nodding at Nyx. He’d still be keeping an eye on her.

After placing the violin into the wagon, Will hopped off and mounted his horse Alastor. He slowed Alastor until he was also in back of the wagon, in stride with Logan. ”Winner of the stone face contest, Logan,” the blonde knight jested with a smirk. ”We have a problem. As much as trusting them is always an issue, pirates do tend to be a good source of information if you can get pass their embellishments and lies. The pirate girl mentioned fighting a giant wolves infestation in Droa. Her wound suggests quite large wolves. Do you know anything about this? She said that the soldiers captured many in cages and shipped them somewhere else. I’ve heard no news about this from Vessan....”

He paused for moment, also not bothering with honorifics. No points in catching people’s attention while they were still in Laia. ”Logan, you don’t think this whole thing is a wild goose chase distraction, do you? Why are we down here?” The so called peace meeting had been scheduled in Cabrian, which was well on the opposite side of the continent as the isles and Toran city. How could the Laian royals be so incompetent and communication so bad? And how was it possible that the Lain royal siblings knew nothing of a peace meeting. It wouldn't be something that was kept a secret...right?

Will eyerolled as he picked up Logan and Nyx’s conversation. Alphie and Dessa’s didn’t really seem that much interesting to him. But Logan and Nyx…those stupid silly kids… they were wallowing in the moment. It was like a “Hey, I’m going to comfort you” competition on who could make the other feel better or who was perceived to be the one that was to be pitied more. Will couldn’t listen to this continue anymore. It was just stupid. Sure, it was fine gushing things out and being thoughtful, but if they dwelled for too long on this, it wouldn’t do them any good. And so, Will broke the rear and then trotted up behind and then between Logan and Nyx and then put a hand on each of their shoulders so he was in between them. ”Come on, you two. Don’t dwell on it. We all have dreams, and it’s just not the most straightforward road to get there, but we have each other, so let’s leave it at that.” Because Will would protect them with his life, even if his wife got angry at him if he got hurt. With another pat on their backs, the blonde knight let go. ”That lake doesn’t smell like stagnant dead fish. It’s already fishy enough these last few days…”

...and like a good knight, he'd go back and watch from the rear again just like that afterwards...

As the others rested, Alphie and Will stood watch in the night. Will considered pulling out the violin and lullabying everyone to sleep, but… Nyx seemed to have already lullabied herself to sleep. And Will didn’t want to induce the barge captain to sleep… the blonde knight did seem to have a knack with influencing mood with his music. Alas, it was not the time to jam on music.

So, the blonde knight decided to try to strike up some conversation. It would have been a nice night butfor these fires…” Will started. ”Some fire, eh?” The colors were quite pretty, but it was fire and things were burning. The air quality was crap, and there was nothing they could do while they sat on the barge.

Alphie only nodded before responding. He could see clearly. ”I hope the people are alright…. Pretty sure my place is on fire…” The assassin could have phrased that more lightheartedly instead of saying for certain that his house was on fire, but he didn’t really care for much talk.

”I am sure the people would have reacted,” Will replied. Sorry about your house, Alphonso, but you never know. It may have survived.” He nodded though before adding. ”Lives are certainly more precious, so I will pray that those you treasure made it out. Houses can be rebuilt.” The blonde knight didn’t need to continue.

”Lives lost cannot.” Alphie finished….his mind wandering over to the earlier incident with the dead footman. Nihil Dung. That was most definitely not the footman. There had been plenty of opportunity to kill Dessa, but nothing had been done before. There was also too much of a divergence between the personalities of the dead footman and whatever had stabbed the Toran prince.

There was a moment of silence before Will spoke again, segueing to another topic while they were on life and death. ”But that’s why you’re with the lady..hmm? Are you the lady’s bodyguard?”

”You seem to be your party’s,” Alphie replied with a slight smirk.

Two can play this game. The Toran knight thought with a grin, realizing exactly what was going on. It wasn’t just that Dessa’s swordsman was worried about Tahna. It was more. ”You are more than a cut above those footmen. Perhaps, they were jealous.” Will remarked playfully.

”It is natural for them for aid their lady and constantly desire to prove their worth. Are you not the same? It is a sense of duty.” Alphie explained succinctly. Perhaps, he should loosen up and little and play this information gathering game. He was in no danger here. They were among Laian people, and the Torans were in more danger than he and Dessa.

Fine. Dodge questions. Tells me more about other things about you. The Toran knight noticed that Alphie was clearly dancing around the questions and not answering anything himself. Before he could say anything else, however, Alphie slipped in another comment.

The assassin sighed. ”We both have those we wish to protect. We do the best we can, but we’re not perfect.”

Will nodded in agreement. It was a loaded remark from Alphie. The blonde thought he even felt some sadness in that remark. ”Indeed… sometimes, things happen beyond our control….I learned the art to protect others and for the thrill,” the blonde knight admitted.

”For me, it was necessity to protect as well.” It wasn’t a lie. While Alphie’s father had trained him right from the start, Alphie had tried to always protect his mother and himself until she died while his father was absent on those “errands”. ”Thrill, you say? The challenge?”

Will grinned. ”Defending yourself and others is such a basic skill these days that everyone should know. Yes, the thrill and the challenge. It’s invigorating and great exercise. Seeing styles from different regions is quite interesting. ”

”You’ve traveled a bit then.” Alphie concluded.

”Mmhmm. You must have as well.” Will had noticed that Alphie traveled light, as if he was someone used to traveling. The knight, while not seeing Alphie’s sword unsheathed could tell that it was a pretty good quality sword.

”Yes,”
Alphie admitted. ”One of the benefits of being a mercenary. You never know where the next job will take you.”

Will smirked. A mercenary, huh? So, not a body guard….or Alphie could be a bodyguard for hire. ”We should spar some time, Alphonso, as fellow swordsman.” he suggested.

At this, Alphie chuckled. Let’s strike a truce for tonight. We may not have all started out on the right foot. We can rotate our watches. As thanks for your companion saving the lady, please rest first.”

Will chuckled. ”Oh, I couldn’t impose on you like that. That is very kind of you, but I must decline. I'm still awake, so you go ahead and rest....so you can be quicker next time...” Quicker so Logan wouldn’t have to pull random risky Nihil Dung again like earlier to save Dessa from the rampant horses and overturned carriage. Maybe Alphonso was just a slow man. However, Will’s gut instinct felt this wasn’t the case. He didn’t trust Alphonso quite yet and would much prefer that he himself watched over Logan and Nyx while they slept instead of allowing a Laian stranger to do so.

The message between the lines was there. Alphie had to smirk. Right, he hadn’t been fast enough to keep the Toran prince’s party out of the whole carriage situation. ”Point taken, William,”, he acknowledged, humoring the Toran knight. ”I shall keep that in mind when we spar.” he jested as he waved nonchalantly to the blonde knight and went to catch some sleep. You better get some sleep some time or we can’t spar.” ….because the next time they sparred would most likely end in the Toran knight’s death.

Since Dessa had the bed, Alphie simply leaned against a wall near Dessa and the bed and then rested against it….

They were all somewhat prepared for the fire now with the damp cloths and coverings. Will kept alert as they traveled. He nodded as Nyx suggested tying Gwen and Alastor together. ”Alastor can calm her. The horse practically breathes fire.” he chuckled.

Tika first suggested checking her home. When Alphie glanced at Tika, he thought he saw a strange expression cross her face as she looked at Dessa. It then occurred to him that she didn’t know Dessa could now see. ”She gained sight.” he simply stated without bothering saying that it must have been the skull. At least Tika wasn’t being grumpy to Dessa as she was to Logan and the other two Torans.

Like the Torans, Alphie left his horse toward the south. His horse probably would be able to remain calm. Will’s black steed, Alastor was perfectly happy with the sugar cube that Nyx fed it. Alastor snorted at Nyx and then nuzzled Gwen supportively as Alastor’s tail swished playfully back and forth. The two horses knew each other well enough.

Meanwhile, Ninka cuddled in Dessa’s arm, being docile and completely cooperative. The fish remained in Ninka’s mouth, but as they traveled, Ninka accidentally dropped the fish in Nyx’s bag. Looking all innocent, Ninka made nary a peep to show that the accident had occurred. The smell of smoke and burning in the air certainly did mask the fishy smell a bit.

It wasn’t long before Logan asked Tika to lead, and then Ninka meowed right before a woman in blue dress appeared out of nowhere from thick haze that wasn’t healthy. Her face was familiar. It was a small town. Everyone got to know everyone’s faces…wait wasn’t that the bride from the wedding? Well, at least Dessa can see her sister now.…until the words started coming out of the woman’s mouth. Alphie scrutinized every word that came out of the woman’s mouth. That woman certainly had guts or hallucinations for wandering in that thick smoke… She certainly seemed out of it. However, Alphie had doubts. The mention of the skull, the mention of a child. How did this woman know that a child had headed toward the skull or even where the skull was? Alphie didn’t know what had transpired in Tahna, but the skull was supposed to be a secret… unless those Toran assailants that Tika mentioned had literally been screaming “HEY, WHERE’S THE SKULL?” to everyone. However, still, that didn’t explain how the woman knew Ash fled to the skull with such certainty. She even pointed in the direction of the skull cave, saying that the knights were chasing Ash there. That required knowing some logic of where the skull was, unless Ash hollered she was going to the skull. If she did, she’d be bait. But Ash had been clear on it being a secret… unless the kid was like Dessa… no…

Something was terribly wrong. Next, the woman knew who Logan was. Alright, it was plausible, but people in Tahna didn’t give a crap about Toran royals. They just lived their own life. The last thing that spiked Alphie’s skeptic meter was the woman’s back. He was an assassin. He knew how much damage a person could take depending on the type of attack to be dead. Yes, this was a lot of blood, and it wasn’t always that that much blood would be an indicator of death. However, the amount of blood in that location did indicate that the woman must have died. Alphie glanced at Dessa and then back at the woman who was now going in the direction of the cave. …oh, Dessa… Alphie almost hoped Dessa didn’t recognize her sister now.

Was this like the footman, as Nyx was asking? Or was this like that voice that Dessa claimed had led her to the cave? At this rate, ANYONE in the area was going to know where the cave was. ”Identify yourself. Why should we trust you?” With luck, maybe the woman would answer what happened to her back. She was moving way too well with that sort of wound on her back. Despite all these signs, Alphie’s gut feeling was that the woman wasn’t lying about Ash. This was not a coincidence. Given what had happened with the footman, there was no reason to trust the woman. It was a different person.

Will seemed to be thinking similar thoughts as Alphie as he almost immediately moved in front of Logan and Nyx, shielding them from the bloody backed woman, even before Alphie spoke. Why in Tythrs Neck does everyone that acts weird know Logan?

Alphie already knew that the woman wasn’t Beatrice by the time Dessa called out Beatrice’s name. Her sobbing was a sign as if Dessa was also resigned to the fact that Beatrice was dead. Alphie, of course, had no clue that Beatrice’s ghost was speaking to Dessa. He knelt down by Dessa and helped her up off the ground before replacing the cloth for her so she wouldn’t choke on smoke. He hugged her lightly before letting go. ”Dessa…I am sorry, but…focus. There.. will be time for mourning later.” It wasn’t much of a comforting comment, but they weren’t in the best of situations right now. He was still keeping alert, although it looked like Will had it covered if that woman randomly decided to attack them.

Ninka, in the meantime, had just cuddled and nudged Dessa as if she was trying to comfort Dessa too. The cat meowed and pawed at Dessa, trying to be very huggable.

Alphie looked at Tika. ”Let’s check your place first for Ash and Thetris… it’s in the same direction as the ….woman is trying to lead us, isn’t it?”

            Nature magic (plant related magic), and shifting magic (only just so I can have him change his hair from blue to grey). While he is more skilled with magic, do not underestimate his physical fighting skills.

other
            He has a love/hate relationship with gingers. As king, he also knows all of Arbion’s secrets. He is also a proficient sailor and tracker.

Bio

Galan is part Fae, and so despite being at the not so tender year of 49, his facial complexion is almost just as youthful. Gal’s hair is naturally blue, but since he wants to make it seem more normal, he made sure to have his hair turn gray with age. His sons have to look younger than him after all, right???

Gal is reserved when it comes to words, but he is a light hearted, laid back, chivalrous, optimistic man who truly cherishes life. He is the type to save people from suicide, and he is unlikely to kill unless necessary. He also is the type to avoid showing his skills to avoid trouble and has in the past gone to the extent of allowing himself to be beat up by street thugs to avoid showing his skills with fighting back in the day. He is not competitive usually. The man cares for his people, preferring not to be the one to start a fight. However, if business calls for it, Gal will be ruthless as he is able to ignore his emotions in order to reason out situations that require objectivity for his country. Simply put, stuff needs to be done, so he'll get it done. Due to habit, Gal has massive attention to detail and a good memory and will just commit scenes to memory without realizing it...

Gal’s childhood was pretty much whatever royal studies and training required for the kingdom. He often went to the forests, feeling an affinity with them and peaceful. Gal is fair to those under him and around him and also those who are not human.

Gal is aware of his son’s predicament, and has not bothered to dispel the rumors that it will be Skyler who will take the throne instead of Terryn. In fact, Gal feels bad because he was supposed to help Terryn make cookies that one time, and instead was stuck in a boring meeting. Gal wishes for his country to be self sufficient and makes sure that both of his sons know how to run a kingdom and be privy to all the issues and matters that would need to happen, and it really sucks that Lenore is stuck on the enemy side because she's his precious sister.

User Image tab tab tab ELYSIA [NAME]

                                          Name: Elysia
                                          Age: 21
                                          Gender: Female
                                          Occupation: Lowly Knight (due to her being a girl)
                                          Side: Laia

                                          Personality: Elysia is strong willed, self-reliant, persistent, and eager to impress, although that's toned down a little since she's encountered situations where her attempts to successfully finish a silly task given to her was just others' entertainment at her expense. She is also horrendous at following some cultural norms for women. She wants to be seen as an equal, but she wants to keep excelling so she can be a role model to inspire other girls to defy tradition. She gets really annoyed when men declare she can't do something they can do, and she may feel the urge to prove them wrong. She's nice and all for encouraging other girls to learn how to fight for self defense. Elysia is mostly moral. If any of the knights tell her to go do their laundry, she tells them to shove it.
                                          History: Elysia hails from a noble family. As a child, Elysia was a clumsy mess with respect to chores that women performed per Laian norm. Ironically she had more skill with the sword than with the spatula (unless you consider swatting flies instead of cooking a skill). Elysia's father was a busy man, and while many others frowned upon it, Elysia's father did train with her since she was so interested in the fighting arts. The training sessions decreased though as things got busier, and Elysia began to random challenge people in town for practice. Those were Elysia's moments of joy as well as the times her father took her traveling with him.

                                          When Elysia was old enough, she decided that staying in town was not going to do her any good. Even though she was a noble's daughter, some of the people shunned her because they did not think she should be doing what men traditionally did. To them, that meant Elysia shouldn't be fighting. She disagreed and moved on, traveling to the bigger cities, hoping people were open minded. However, she found that it wasn't necessarily better.

                                          She even tried to try to pretend to be a male, lowering her voice and dressing more like the men, but it got tiring, and she stopped. She did notice that it was easier to maneuver with people as a man though. It got slightly awkward when a woman hit on her though.

                                          When people saw she could be skilled, they instead treated her as competition. A man one day explained to her that some couldn't stomach being bested by a woman and suggested she join the knights and train with them as they had a formal training program.

                                          Her experiences in the entourage varied including those of abuse from some of the other male knights, but she got them good back, flooring them in a duel. Elysia continues to sometimes pretend to be a male and dress and hold herself as one to see how others react and to see if they react differently to women or men.

                                          Skills: Elysia has knight training and has all the skills associated with knights (e.g. basic survival, archery, knowledge on how to use other types of weapons, horse back riding, some sailing, etc). She is skilled at fast fighting. She excels at being a horrible cook and thus is great at causing food poisoning. She also is quite good at sewing and designing her clothes to be more functional, although she has been yelled at for modifying her uniform before. Elysia is a high jumper including when she gets startled.
                                          Weapons: Sword, hunting knife, hair pin, spear (she is best with the spear and javelin)

                                          Likes: Sparring, pillows, plushies, challenging herself to do what is traditionally done by men, functional fashion, reading
                                          Dislikes: Mean people. Failure. Getting wagon/carriage sick (she really needs to be riding a horse...). Crappy traditions
                                          Theme Song: Angel with a Shotgun
                                          Extra: She has an odd taste and people tend to grimace or run away when she cooks. She calls anyone who uses dirty fighting a cheat (even though when she's wearing a dress, she totally will hide stuff under that dress).
