Aleydream Skimbleshankx Aleydream Skimbleshankx Yay! Something to post on! You can go look at the rp I'm working on in Coming Soon. It's supposed to be a multi person rp but I don't know where to put it or what to label it as. Well where you put it will depend on what you want to do with it and how to label it is completely up to where you put it. Not all sub forums require that you label things. But I don't know what to do with it or anything. *sigh* I'll probably put it in adventure... I was thinking shady or anything else. Adventure is more for people who are doing quests. It would fit really well in Shady in which case it just needs something around the name. Shady is fine I guess. I was thinking it'd be adventure because the kids are struggling to survive in this weird school. But shady probably works better because it's about doing bad stuff. What do I need to put around the name?

I don't know if you're "done" yet but here is some food for thought: Creating a school map would benefit the players from becoming lost or saying that something is in the same place as something else. It also gives the teachers an easier job tracking down miscreants. Also course packet with a brief description of the classes would help the teachers and students coming into the RP from creating the same class with two different names and give the teachers a chance to look over material before 'testing'. As an RPer I typically don't like doing schools because the students don't actually take it seriously as a time to learn something and the teachers don't actually teach, just time skip during class. If you wish this RP to actually go through the testing and the learning, you should inform the RPers of this rather than just expecting them to know. I think your layout looks really good and I like the profiles you're making people fill out. I think they'll really help keep people in character.

I suppose I could. I'm not good with blueprints though. I'll see what I can come up with. As for the class list and what should be taught I'll do a write up of that. I have most the ideas in my head anyway, I just didn't want to do all the teachers. Which I could do, it would just be annoying. Yeah, I know. my main trouble with group rps in a school is it's too easy to get behind. Particularly if everyone isn't taking the same classes. I was thinking I'd make the tests up myself based on what the teacher taught in the rp so that it wouldn't be too hard for the rpers to know the answer, though I might throw in a few real questions as well.

Most of the time doing a blueprint isn't necessary, and you probably would be okay if you avoided doing one. I'm just worried about the school subjects. You could do it like a Japanese school where one class stays together indefinitely and have them grouped by major so they only run into a particular number of teachers and are always around one another.

Well, I'll get the school subjects up soonish. Before I move it anyway. I could, but we'd still have the different class levels. We can't have freshman taking senior level classes. Well...We could, but they'd fail. Or learn fast... Still, I'll work on it some more. It's easier than trying to set up a MMORPG style rp... Still trying to think of a way to do that as a guild.

Don't give them a choice in their age or year. Then they all have to be a particular level and can thus be in the particular class. OR! Have 3 different classes.

You can make a student too if you like. I think I'll say that everyone has to be year one then as the rp progresses we'll move into the different years. How does that sound?

The other option is one teacher teaches a particular class all subjects. More efficient for RPs, less efficient for schools.
