Angela.Tremaine  "Well, I think that as long as you make sure you're not eating too much at once, you should be alright," Angela said, laughing a little as she returned to her chair. "In any case, I should think that experiencing at least one brain freeze is all part of a proper first ice cream experience. Some people actually try to do it intentionally. Though they're a bit off their onion, I think."
She sat and took another sip of her tea. "At any rate, what else have you discovered about the surface world, that you like? What about music? Do you have music under the water? I mean sound travels differently and all..."
Actually, how did they even communicate? Maybe like whales or something.

 Kamil Terrace ________________________Kamil was taking smaller bites now but his hand didn't stop moving as he ate small bit by bit. He wondered what kind of person would want to have a brain freeze. They felt terrible! He definitely wanted to avoid it if he could.
Kamil paused from his eating to answer Angela's question. "We do have music underwater. Sound waves can't travel very far under water, so we have an extra gill for picking up the sound waves through the waves. Our brains translates that into sound afterwards. I think that's what my anatomy teacher said. Maybe there was more scientific stuff with it, but I slept through most of that. We do have music under the sea. It's actually mandatory to take singing lessons, so I'm supposed to be good at singing."
After answering, he started taking his small bites again and the brain freeze wasn't coming back fortunately. He started to see the ice cream start to disappear faster than he liked.

Angela.Tremaine "You'll have to sing for me sometime then," Angela said. "Music is also an important fae past time. I had to take singing lessons, and dancing lessons, and a host of other things that ladies are supposed to be good at." There were also the horseback riding lessons she had to endure for Faerie Rades. She shuddered. Horses were sort of large and horrifying. She hated them.
Angela finished off all but a small portion of her scone, just in case Kamil had room left over after all that ice cream, and wanted to try it--since he seemed really set on trying all the food there was. Though she wasn't sure he could more than that, without making himself sick. Maybe mermaids had four stomachs like cows...
"So what are you favorite subjects in school then?" According to the clock on the wall above Kamil's head, they should probably be starting back. It was also getting quite dark, but honestly she felt bad about interrupting his enthusiastic ice cream experience. Besides, it wouldn't be the end of the world if they were late. she practically made a habit of breaking the rules, anyway, so it's not like it would be the only time she missed curfew.

Kamil Terrace ________________________Kamil was just finishing up his ice cream. He was sad to see it go away and he still had room for more food. Maybe he should order another one to take back to his dorm... but it would be a hassle to carry.
"I guess I could sing for you at some point in the future. It's not that hard to catch me singing since it's a habit for me to just start singing when there's no one to talk to and there's no one around. I don't mind it, you know." Kamil remarked as he pushed the big bowl of ice cream aside, "Then we can try a duet or something. It'll probably sound interesting if a mer and a Fae sang together, you know."
Kamil had to stop and think for a bit about his favorite subject at school. He wasn't fond of mathematics. He didn't understand anything about surface history. P.E. would usually be his favorite class but with his pathetic stamina in the surface world, he probably wouldn't like it that much. He finally decided on a subject. "Well, at home, it would be P.E. but I guess my favorite subject in the surface world might probably be the music class since I'm pretty confident with how I sing."
Kamil eyed Angela's unfinished scone. "So... are you going to eat that?" ________________________

Angela.Tremaine "Ah, no," Angela said, pushing her saucer across the table to Kamil. "I actually saved it for you." She laughed a bit. "I can't believe you actually ate all that ice cream. I didn't think you'd be able to. Well done."
She stretched slightly, rolling her shoulders and wincing a bit as the fabric of her shirt rubbed against her back. Leaning forward, she rested her elbows on the table, dropping her chin into her hands. "I like science and art, really. I suppose physical education is also alright. I don't mind being active and such. Honestly, there's a part of me that's sort of terrified to be here because I'm not all that great with people."
"I mean, you're alright, but I don't get on well with a lot of people. But at the same, I'm really just relieved to be away from the court and back out in the real world. I don't know. I'm glad we've got a bit of a break before classes start. Hopefully it will be enough time to adjust to being around people again."
"I'm glad, at least, that I managed to meet someone nice right at the start. Makes things a bit less daunting."

Kamil Terrace ________________________"Thanks! You're really kind!" Kamil happily took the scone from her plate and it was gone with just a few bites. "I wonder if I'll find any surface food that I don't like."
Kamil stood up since they needed to be getting back. It was almost time for curfew. The waitress ((was it a waitress? I don't remember. xD)) came and gave Kamil his prize which was a coupon for a free meal for two. "I wonder if I could just use both of these for myself. Just kidding. I'll bring a friend next time. Maybe I can invite Sethrian?"
Kamil turned to Angela. "Hey, and don't worry about getting along with others. I'm pretty sure there'll be a lot of nice people in Rosentale Academy. I'm not sure about the teachers since I haven't met very much yet."

Angela.Tremaine At the same time she dropped off Kamil's coupon, the waitress left their bill. Since it was Angela's treat, she fished money out of her tote bag and left it on the table. She slung her bag over a shoulder and pushed her chair in, heading for the door. "Who's Sethrian? Another student? I've not really met anyone else."
"Well, I did meet the physics professor--he's quite nice. I have a feeling I'm going to enjoy his class quite a lot. There was another student that came in, but he seemed a bit stuck up. Some blond lout. I didn't catch his name."
"At any rate, there's also a tea house nearby I think. We should try it sometime. Apparently my uncle has been there before. He said they've got these imported maple biscuits that are absolutely heavenly." But what she really wanted right now, was to go back to the dorm and take a long, hot bath. Her back was starting to bother her quite a lot, but hopefully a good soak would help.

Kamil remarked as they started to head out, "Oh, and Sethrian is another student and he also didn't make fun of me for being a merman. I met him when we had to help the potions professor with her problem. I should probably tell you that the potions professor is a really smart little girl. She's younger than the both of us, but she's a professor."
"If you're going to enjoy his class, then maybe I will too. I'm not really good with numbers so I wasn't sure if I'd do well in physics, but it's pretty important that I learn the physics of the surface world since it's very different from the ocean."
"I've never drank tea before. We should definitely go there tomorrow." Kamil was he had something to do for tomorrow. He didn't what he was going to for the vacation. Exploring the city didn't seem like a bad idea.

Jukka let out a hard cough, then put out his cigaret and leaned back in the chair with his arms crossed. He was humming lightly to himself and studying all of the people around him, though he tried to make it seem as discreet as possible.

(Yeah, lol XD ) Jukka blinked at her, then scratched his chin. "So i've been told..." he replied. He didn't realize that she was a teacher, because she looked like a little kid! "I do what I want, when I want, and smoking helps keep me relaxed." He added as he took a long drag on his cigaret. "Besides, what is it to you that im healthy or not?" He asked her.
