Jaq looked at casey and saluted back
"so your a lance corporal, I am jaques cartier, better known as dead eye or jack of blades, and as for my rank what do you think,"
As jaq said this he pointed to the symbols on his coat indicating he was a lieutenant colonel."

Casey looked at the symbols in awe "you're a Lieutenant Colonel?! you're a soldier too?!" Casey said suprised and happy finding a fellow soldier out there in this world "I hate to give him credit but I was taught by my Foster dad who tuaght you?" Casey asked

Casey saluted "sir yes sir...although I will question orders I think I know a better solution to, that's just how I am sir...and I've saved lives doing it" Casey said then went back to the front his cat ears twitched as he heard more moaning from outside he sat with his back on the wall, although he watched the door carefully "the sound just reminds me of when this first happened" Casey said, his eyes began to droop "man I really need sleep I haven't slept in I think 2 days and 20 hours" Casey said looking at a clock on the wall but he stayed awake

Wreks could see the exhaustion in casey so he reachdped into his pack and withdrew a bottle of pills and tossed it to casey
"take two of those and youll be awake long enough to handle this situation theb you can sleep."
Jaq dropped into a firing position and sweeped the windows left and right keeping his eyes focused as he scanned for infected

Casey caught them and looked at the bottle he popped to in his mouth and swallowed "caffine pills I bet" he said then got back up switching between the front and right entrances but something felt wrong like it was too quiet like....THEY were listening to THEM waiting for the chance to strike just then Casey heard a beating sound from everywhere there was a ground window or entrance and one by one they started breaking through the barriers Casey opened fire with his M16 shooting at any he saw then a few started walking up behind him he whipped around, pulled out his 45 and shot both of them in the head then turned back around just in time to stop himself from getting bit, but the zombie tackled him to the ground trying to bite him...as more were approaching him

Jaq snapped his rife to shoulder position quickly and began firing in single shots every bullet hitting an infecteds head he fired the last bullet in his nagazine and went to reload but as he did saw casey being held down by an infected, thinking quickly jaq drew his knife from its shesthe and hurled it at the infected hitting it ib the gead destroying its brain killing it instantly, jaq ran over to casey retrieved his knife and helped him to his feet.
"come on we gotta find a more defensible position then this somewhere with only one way in out out."

Casey thought for a minute "thanks and maybe a classroom or the building you were staying at earlier what do you think?" Casey asked unloading a clip and taking out just as many zombies he drew his pistol and shot the closer ones as they were talking

Jaq slung his famas over his shoulder and drew his p 90 and finished off the last of the close by zombies

"thanks and appearently with other people besides you it's kept them alive until we parted ways now I don't know" Casey said taking his knife and throwing it and hitting the skull of the zombie that was about to try and bite Jaq "looks like to a certain extent we're even..now which way? hold up in a classroom or go to the building you were in" he asked

 lucy awoke from her nap, by the sound of gunshots. she had locked herself in the nurses office for a nap, lucy looked around weakly as she began to stand. her dirty ears shifted as she heard voices down the hall. she unblocked the doorway as fast as she could, before she opened the door she walked over and opened the window. after that she quickly swung the door open and looked down the hall where she saw two men along with an oncoming horde of zombies. "hey!" she called frantically with her hoarse and weak voice, motioning for them to come in her direction.

Casey's ear twitched as he heard someone elses voice besides Jaq's and the undeads' he turned his head and saw a girl around his age 17 or 18 he told Jaq to make a break for it he ran with Jaq into the nurse's office then closed the door and locked it Casey had to stop himself from saluting and hugging her for everything "thank you" he said slumping down his ears falling as he started falling asleep from exhastion then he forced himself awake again he smiled weakly and tiredly at the girl for her help

The nurses office was small, but it had a heavy metal door and a window that led to a fire escape ladder that led to the roof and the ground.lucy's tail began to wag "its no problem" she said with a tired smile. she saw that he was tired " you can go sleep in that corner..." she said, pointing at a corner by the window with a blanket on the floor. "its were ive been hiding and sleeping" she said before coughing.her clothes were tattered and she was dirty from head to tail to toe.

Casey picked up the blanket from the corner and put it around Lucy's shoulders and he smiled sitting down next to her but making sure she had space from him "you need sleep more than me besides I'm perfectly fine...." Casey said his face had blood from his head running down the entire right side of his face and zombie blood on his hands and hoodie he took the hoodie off and folded it next to her only showing the clean non bloody part "if you get tired you can use this as a blanket" he gave her another smile "my name's Casey what's your name?" he asked

Jaq entered the room a few minutes later after a few.gunshots were heard covered in blood breathing heavily he sat his rifle dowb and looked in the room he saw the girl and casey
"well hello there stranger dont be worried im a friend."
Jaq looked at the girl and couldnt help but notice her ears
"are you hungry I have food."
