"I'm not the one who needs to cool down." Sarabi muttered, following the large lioness. Well, she was herded, but still she had no intentions of running now.
((Quick post, to Pride Rock! *Dum dum duuuum* XD And, Snowy, omg's these posts of mine stink, I always find so many mistakes--so they aren't very well constructed at all! gonk sweatdrop ))

[But you're still very good at role playing, and if you're exiting a topic it's okay to give a short post. And having long posts isn't always needed, but nice to have.]
Abaeze followed the two other lionesses from behind, dragging some of the meat remaining from Ayita's kill back to Pride Rock. The day was so hot, she was glad she was heading back home to the rock. She was sure Musa was hungry as well. She's still have to go back out again for him.

Tuzika woke up, fully rested and digested, stretching as her ears twitched to check if she was still in a safe zone. She scanned the area with her hazel eyes before getting on her paws. Shaking her pelt as the sun warmed it up. "I guess I lost that Pridelander," looking to Pride Rock, she could hear roars and discussions, but it didn't concern her. She still needed to bring something back to those whinny hyenas before they came out themselves. So she used the grass to continue her hunting, claws unsheathed, making it easier to pick up speed going as far as her muscles can take her.

Against the green and tan grasses, white flowed among it in the breeze. It seemed as if there was a low cloud. But what would a cloud be doing this low to earth? They weren't affected by gravity. Among other questions, why would it be moving against the breeze. Or have ears. No, this wasn't a cloud. Above the tall grasses, blue gray eyes peered straight on. Large ears did nothing but lay flat against a white to gray coat. This beast was lion. Not just that. But Soyala. The the cloud walker. The kind king. The wise white of the pridelands. His deep eyes saw everything in a general view, but carried no opinion until all was said. As of now this beautiful oddity was striding on large paws towards two of the warriors. They were recognized as Thabu and Kwaku. The opposite brothers. What did this king want with the two of them? Nothing just a simple conversation of the borders. What had been going on. For his thirst for knowledge was great. "It appears you two are both.. stuffed." Those white paws which could easily smother even the largest of warthogs stopped on the flattened ground a few feet away from the other two males. "I would take it the talented head huntress served you both?"

[Enter from Pride Rock.]
Abaeze took large strides as she pelted through the grasslands for Ayita. She had taken way to long in making sure Musa was safely situated with the maidens and had lost the head huntress's scent. Cursing to herself, the cloudy sandy-gray lioness slowed for a moment, catching her breath as her deep, bright blue eyes searched the plains as the breeze from the west came in and soaked her senses. She smelled the brothers and the kind king nearby. Maybe they saw the head huntress some by. "Thabu, Kwaku, Soyala, have any of you seen Ayita come through?" The lioness asked, her breathing slow and regular once more as her blue orbs glanced at each of the males in turn deliberately. She didn't like being around so many males, but she knew that these three were harmless compared to Manaba.

Bluish grey eyes moved in large sockets. A wise looking face masked in a puff of white fur turned. The form that was speaking was Abaeze. The sleek lioness was the Head Huntress' old friend, from what Soyali's great mind knew. Unless things changed. Eyes narrowed at the thought. No that was impossible. So, it was crunched to bits and spat out into the elephant graveyard. The great white beast found himself in the company of not only two of the pride's greates gaurds, but also a fantastic huntress. It had been a while Soyali had been with such a number out here. Usually he was alone. It was a good change. The king listened carefully to the lioness' words. There was a hint of worry in that voice. "Ah, why yes. On my way to this location I believe I saw her dark form heading towards the watering hole. I believe you will find her there." Eyes seemed to close as a breeze lifted the thick cloud like pelt of the large male lion. Reopening those smoky hues, that great maw opened once more. "I can tell you, I didn't sense too much of her usual delightful mood."
Meanwhile, quite a bit away, indeed at the watering hole, a tongue lapped away at the cool water. It felt good consisting the high temperature radiating from the sun. Ayita's dark fur soaked in more heat so she was prone to exaustion and in fear of overheating. So much so she was often in the watering hole. As she was doing now, standing where the water reached her mid shoulder. Slowly drifting out, large paws hit the sand bank. Shaking, water dripped from her dirt colored pelt. Sighing, the large lioness trotted to the shade of a tree, wishing to escape the sun. That, and hide from any eyes in the sky the kings could have sent to find her.

Abaeze's eyes lit, glad that she had stopped to speak with the kind king. "Thank you, and yes," she said, pawing the ground a bit in frustration, "we had some trouble with an Outcast and whatnot. It's best to leave it at that. You can ask Ayita herself for the details or Manaba." The pale-furred lioness stood a little straighter, squaring her back as her sapphire-blue gaze pinned Soyala's blue-gray orbs for a brief moment before she dipped her head to him and the two brothers. "I'll be on my way now, and thank you again for your help." The urge to find her head huntress was strong in her as she slowly disappeared into the long, golden grasses of the plains. She would find Ayita and start another hunt for their pride.

A bit aways from the conversing four lions, Ayita was still drifting to sleep in the cool shade of a tree. The sun was still blazing but that was besides the point. It was silent, typical. Except the trumpeting of elephants far off. The zebra and gazelle wouldn't be near this portion of the lands for a few more days. They were very well content in the freshly grown green grasses just a few miles out. The antellope here, were here for the tall grasses which they blended better with. Smart. But not enough to outsmart a hunter like Ayita. Green emerald hues shot open as ears spun around, hearing the pad steps of someone else. Lifting her head, the head huntress stared onward. It didn't take long to notice the squared yet thin and muscular form of Abaeze. A chuckle came from the lionesses throat. She hollered out. "Over here my dear friend." Ah company.

[I just remembered something very important about lions: they see in black-and-white... emotion_jawdrop That's kind of going against all the descriptions we've been saying since they don't know what true colors are!]
Abaeze's ears perked at the sound of her head huntress. Shaking her head, she couldn't help the toothy grin on her muzzle as she trotted over to Ayita. She hadn't seen her in the grasses. She blended in well. "Sometimes I think I need a tracker on you, Ayita. You move faster than I can keep up." She chuckled, speaking in a friendly, yet respectful manner toward the huntress.

Tuzika came to a soft stop as she let her hazel hues scan around her surroundings, as she walked looking for worthy prey that would satisfy the twerps back in the elephant graveyard. Ears would twitch as she listened around as she kept herself low to keep out of sight of any other lions walking by as she crouched. Slowly down her breathing as she spotted a herd of gazelle, tail swaying within level high with the lioness's body

(I do believe that might be true. But I also believe that even as smart as we humans are, we can never truly see if an animal sees in color or not. Example, we found out recently that dogs can see certain colors. Not all but some. So who is to say they dont xD)
Ah, Abaeze. A rather calm and collected lioness with a sense of humor. It was refreshing. Quite a good thing. Green eyes seemed to lighten up actually seeing the fellow lioness in full form. A beautiful form for perfect hunting. Thin but lean. Ayita was able to gaze at others and see their physical forms and abilities. It was a compliment "A tracker would do you no good my friend~" Interesting enough as it is, the lead huntress was able to typically sneak away from even the higher skilled trackers of the pride. It was a skil she cherished greatly. Used to allow her to get away as a cub. To hide away and relax from the problems the pride had when she was younger. This was a skill she learned at a young age. It was hard to learn truly. As for movement, her large framed had large gaits. Meant quicker movement. It was tiring. "Sit and relax my pride-sister." Alone with her closest friend, was when she was at the most comfortable. Besides with her brother.

[That's very true. Nothing is impossible in this world.]
Abaeze chuckled, obeying the command of her head-huntress. "Great, now how will I find you?" She laughed, laying her head down on her paws as she laid with her back stretched against the golden grasses of their pride's territory. As a moment went by, the lioness thought of the rogue and Outcast they drove out today and wondered if they'd come back. She didn't know what happened to the rogue, she still might be in their territory, but she wasn't sure. Looking towards Ayita, the lioness suddenly felt sure that, no matter what happened, her pride would be safe with Ayita on their side.

It was good to see Abaeze laying down and relaxing. Ayita enjoyed seeing hard working lions and lionesses taking a break once in a while. Even Ayita took time to relax once in a while. Like right now. The huntress was getting away from the stresses of the pride and getting time to herself. Well time with a friend now. Entertaining enough. "Whenever you can not find me or I go missing, simply come here." There was a bit of a grin on her face you could say. Before pulling her lips back in a teeth bearing yawn. Green eyes looked to the sky, seeing the buzzards about looking for scraps. There oughta be some of that for them. It wasn't like anyone was starving. Then again. That was wrong. The Outlanders and such seemed to be. Mentally frowning it was a thought Ayita quickly pushed away.

Abaeze smiled at her head huntress, glad she had her around. "That'll make a life pass more smoothly." She just prayed that they would never have a day where Ayita disappeared, and the younger lioness would have to wait for her under this tree, waiting for a friend that would never appear again. "This wouldn't where you'd run off to as a cub, would it?" She asked, a mischievous gleam in her blue eyes.

Ayita loved being in the company of her friend. Abaeze was quick minded and knew what to say, and when to say. Could read clues and put them together. At least that it what the huntress thought of her friend. The lioness was no lion with the brain of a buzzard. Example when she pulled out the question. Emerald green eyes glistened at the question. For once Ayita seemed playful. Quite rare for anyone to see that look in her eyes. Or her speak of where she'd run off too. "This is indeed where I would scamper off too." It was a mystery to her how come nobody could figure out where she would go. Then again, her father probably knew and simply told nobody. Probably wished for his daughter to have privacy, time away. He was a good king. Manaba on the other hand, not so much. But, he would get there. He was still considered young. Things would work out in the end. They always did.
