Purple Tent

Mitsu had seen Malodore before though she did not really know the creature personally. Still, it was a welcome sight of being home at long last. Slowly and almost uncertain Mitsu released Mot's hand so that he could take the cup that was offered to him. It probably would have been best if she had made her way to the Blue Tent, there were multiple cuts that needed tended to but instead she waited not wanting to leave either of the reapers behind. So instead she made her way over with Shun in tow and took a seat, slumping a little where she sat.

Tired eyes glanced up toward Mot as he sipped at his medicine. He seemed on edge and honestly Mitsu probably would have been too if she wasn't fading out. She had taken quite a bit of damage and needed to rest. Being back in Halloween was at least a little comfort though.

It wasn't long before the school nurse showed up. Mitsu waited patiently while she tended to Mot reaching out a hand to touch his arm to let him know it would be okay. Once she was free though, Mitsu pointed to Shun, gesturing toward his eyes and ears before shaking her head. It was hard to say why she didn't speak, but she wasn't entirely up to it at the moment. Hopefully the nurse would understand that Shun couldn't hear or see.

Purple Tent

Mot had not even seen Cricket until she decided to reveal herself. He watched her move about, nervousness taking over more than earlier. His mind was still reeling in a sense of battle, like he needed to stay on his toes, in case an enemy attacked again. Even here, safe at school, he felt on edge. Especially with Cricket now mulling about close by.
She was a healer, he knew that. He did. She wasn't going to gobble him. Just... mind the bugs.

Mot tensed as Cricket's hands reached for his eyes. He was almost terrified of anything touching them. But, the contact of Cricket's fingers on his raw wounds felt... cool to the touch. The reaper relaxed a bit. She wasn't going to hurt him. Mitsu's touch also made the reaper's posture relax, somewhat.
He hated seeing doctors.

Mot nodded to Cricket's advice and instruction; Drink the peachy medicine, apply ice, pretend to be better. Got it.

Mot sipped at his medicine as Cricket saw to Sammy. However, his gut clenched as the undead bluntly stated the grim news. It was hard to hear, even though he'd seen it happen. He didn't want to hear it. He didn't want to hear anyone else react to the news, to feel that loss so raw all over again.
Worse off, Cricket had heard now, and it sounded like she was not going to take it well.

Mot frowned deeply, bowing his head.

Green Tent

"That isn't funny."

... But it wasn't a joke.

While the students continued to limp in at a trickle, it was still just quiet enough for Toby to hear broken fragments of conversation in the other tents-- even if the throbbing skull made it hard to concentrate. It seemed that even Nurse Cricket found the news too shocking to believe, and the falsicorn couldn't really blame her. Who would ever think it, after all? Red was a notoriously fierce and powerful lady, and to think she'd been taken down by anything for good was just... just...

Her reward for thinking on it too long was a sudden urge to vomit, and all she could do to will it away was bury her face in Iris's soft neck and mumble quiet pleas for her body to behave. The image of that broken stone skull was still so fresh in her mind; she knew every crack and wound it sported in nauseating, high-res detail, and wished she could forget it. Hell, there were several scenes and visuals she wished she could block out forever, but life and memory were hardly so convenient.

Without her heat pits in any working order to pre-empt it, the sudden sensation of something crawly brushing past one of her legs was actually quite startling to poor Toby, perhaps even frightening-- but Iris made a point of curling himself up closer into her embrace and pawing her arm gently, a sure sign that, no, it was nothing harmful: probably just some familiar of the nurse making rounds.

So long as it had nothing to do with humans, she'd tolerate it in silence.

... She probably needed to tend herself, too, but that was a feeble impossibility while her sight was so worthless, so she just resigned herself to riding it out instead. Her bloodied hooves could wait for a scrub-- that wouldn't kill her-- and the rest just felt like cold-sweating fatigue and exhaustion and stress and oh Jack too much for one mind to take in ever, end of story. She felt at a complete loss for how to cope, and as someone who lived by reason and logic, that was truly a horrible, frightening thing.

How would the staff even cope with this loss, on top of the students?

... What about the whole of Amityville?

GODDESS OF THE TENTS - PURPLE

Cricket returned Sammy's statement with a long stare. It was still accusing her of everything; of being a liar, of making bad jokes, of being utterly horrible. But it seemed even underneath that, the undead ghoul held on to her story. Which sent the tiniest sliver of doubt into the ghost woman's mind.

She refused it, pushing it out of her head.

"You must have hit your head if you think that Red would die." she said plainly after a moment, her expression forcing itself back into a sort of mask of emotional dismissal. It was an interesting transformation between the two, really. But still, her denial was fervent in the way any person close to the situation would regard it.

When she finished the bandaging, Cricket took up an Ice Pack and placed it on the ghoul's head. "You definitely need rest."

Denial. Fervent, powerful, vehement. It was the most guarded denial ever.

Sammy said nothing more, her eyes found a spot on the floor and remained on it. She didn't want to see it, that look the accused her so much. So she simply grew quiet.

Oddly enough her head was one of the few things in decent shape, minus a few missing patches of skin on her left cheek bone, still she kept her eyes glued to the ground. To think Red would die? Wasn't that what they all had thought just before everything went to Hell and back only to fall apart again? She didn't see the shift in Crickets face, but she heard something in her voice as she went about her usual manners.

Suddenly an icepack was lodged against her head and without thought Sammy brought a hand up to hold it in place, the other one clutching the bone shard and bottle. Slowly she laid back on her cot trying to avoid eye contact, even then she failed catching just a corner of Crickets eye as she laid down.

"Y-yes Ma'am... I'm...sorry." She mumbled quietly before shifting to her side to avoid looking at her any longer. One hand on her ice pack the other clinging the bottle and bone to her chest.

Astra hadn't paid much notice to what happened next, the boogyemen moving around were just a haze of color, and she couldn't summon the effort to care about the fact it was so bright. Normally she would have taken great interest in the color of the sky, but now...

She obediently moved through the portal, appearing in the makeshift hospital set up in the gym. So far there wasn't many students here, and she could see the four tents set up, and few students walking about.

The Red tent though, made her throat clench up.

Looking a the tents, she thought she may as well go to one and get some assistance. She may be able to walks till, but that didn't mean she wasn't hurt. Numerous cuts covered her arms and some on her face, while her wings and antenna were slightly burnt from the fire. Not to mention she was exhausted. Rubbing her eyes, she wondered if nurse cricket was ab-

.....

She had no doubt Nurse Cricket was a expert at healing FEAR. She was the best there was in Amityville school. She was so adapt that she could probably heal someone if there was even a shred of them left.

...Maybe...

At once she franticly gazed the tents looking for the Ghost, and saw her tending to some students in the purple tent. Astra didn't want to be rude, considering each of them look really injured....

Nurse Cricket!" She called out, forgetting her tiredness and running with all her might towards her as if she was her last hope in the world. As soon as she had reached her she stopped, glancing at Sammy apolitically, then looked towards the professor.

"....I..." She faltered, suddenly afraid. "....P-professor Red....she's..."

She swallowed hard, trying hard to get the words out. "We fought these hooded guys...and she tried to protect us...and all her colors faded...and..." Her eyes were beginning to water now, but she desperately tried to hide her tears. "Her body turned to dust...b-but her skulls still there! I know where it is, it's back in the house..."

"Can you save her?"

Cricket had been aiming to return to her task of healing with a certain level of anger after the comment Sammy had made. But it seemed soon enough another student would call on her. Another student with the same story.

Or rather, a student with a more detailed story. Cricket looked at Astra, then at Sammy as though this entire story was all her fault, and then back to Astra. The nurse took a long moment, watching that face. That face that said everything in the world was wrong. That face mixed with those words, those tears. There was something about it that seemed to get to her.

The mask folded again and this pained look flickered over the nurse's face, as though someone had just tried to remove a kidney without putting her under. Not that the analogy really worked in her case, but it was definitely a ballpark of what it would have been for mot people. It wasn't straight out agony, yet... something about it seemed to be the most betrayed look yet.

Dust.

All that was left was a skull....

Her stomach, or about where that would have been, tied up into knots, a chill going through her ectoplasmic form, even the normal sensation that the ghost had reached out to touch everything in the room suddenly reneged away from everybody, leaving a strange loneliness in it's wake, as though she'd been doing that at all times anyways.

Perhaps it had simply been inside that room and they'd only been reintroduced to FEAR inside of it for the first time in.. a day. It hadn't been that long, put perhaps it seemed that long.

Can you save her?

For a long time, the nurse didn't answer. She pressed a palm to her forehead, as though trying to hide the look on her face. That pained look that hinted of an inner agony.

"There is nothing I can do."

It would be the first time Cricket had been unable to do anything for the werewolf and the words seemed to stab into her in a way that even witnessing it had not come close to for the students themselves.

"It is too late."

Red is Dead.

Cricket turned away from them all to busy herself with a task to try and reorganize her thoughts.... but that one would not press itself out of her mind. It lodged itself in there. She willed it to not be true, more fervently inside than anything else. She pushed it out, but it struck back at her. She waited for the bogeyman to walk through the door at any moment and say 'Fooled you! I can't believe you fell for it this time' and then slap her on the back like it had all been fun and games. Like it had been near always, it seemed.

It seemed futile to expect such a thought though, and Cricket's body was not made for tears. It did not react to the 'cry' impulse, so instead, she was left with the burning. The stinging of eyes that would not cry, the burning of her throat and general lung-vicinity, and the ache that came with the rejecting of her denials by her body.

Idiot. You weren't supposed to leave us.

PURPLE TENT

Shun hadn't known where he was being lead until he felt FEAR all around him. It was a refreshing feeling and it was a fairly decent indicator that they were home... or were they?

At first glance, he didn't seem too injured. He had a number of minor lacerations, scrapes, and bruises, as well as what appeared to be a sort of bite wound. However, his movements remained to be fairly stiff, his complexion pale, and there was the whole issue of his vision and hearing being not quite there.

While he waited, he wasn't really sure what to expect. He didn't quite know what was going on around him and all. The reaper continued to move along with Mitsu until she came to a halt. He wanted to ask what was going on, but he knew it'd be pretty futile.

----

GREEN TENT...?

Jericho had decided to help with the 'welcoming party' more or less. Though, he didn't exactly have much experience with the medical things so the green tent seemed pretty suiting for him. He figured he could help pass out a few things that the incoming students might need. Healing spookies, bandaids, water, things!

When the first few people headed over to the purple tent, he furrowed his brow. Well, that wasn't a good sign.

Furthermore, when Sammy came in, she said that Red was dead!

"Wait what?"

He had just been about to pass some water to the falsicorn that came into the green tent, but instead found himself wandering over towards the edge over by purple to see what was going on. Like Cricket, he thought this was some sort of joke. But then.. Astra came in and said the same thing, giving a little more details. Things... sounded really grim, but he was still having a hard time believing.

"Wait. Astra. W-what are you talking about?" he asked with a sense of uncertainty.

Astra waited, waited patiently for a response from the Nurse. Hoping that she would somehow be able to save Red. But her hopes began to fade when she saw the look On Nurse Crickets face, and were soon dashed completely.

There is nothing I can do

It was odd, to see Cricket in so much pain.

As the ghoul had turned away, Astra continued to stand there, looking at the teacher as she busied herself with other tasks, tears running freely down her face. She knew it was inappropriate to cry, that Red wouldn't want her students to be such scarelings. But she couldn't find the strength to stop herself.

She was about to retreat from the area, not wanting to be in anyone's way, but a familiar voice caught her attention. She turned her teary eyes towards Jericho, someone she didn't except to see here, out of all places. And he wanted a explanation as well.

"P-professor Red....she's gone..." She choked out. "She d-died protecting us from the strange reapers" She had yet to learn what their true names were, so was only able to refer to them as that. "She made this huge barrier to stop them from attacking us...but then she turned grey...and then her body turned to ash..."

She couldn't say anymore after that, bowing her head in a last ditch effort to keep herself from falling apart, and looking so utterly weak in front of everything else. No one else was crying as far as she could see, so why should she be bawling her eyes out?

((Entering from Spaaaaaace))

Purple Tent

They were ushered outside of the house, and then the next thing she knew, they were ushered through another portal to…home. Oh, the sweet relief of being in a Fear rich environment again…to be on familiar grounds…but now was not the time to rejoice about that simple fact. She needed to get Riyo some help, and it seems the portal led them to the right place as she looked at the tents set up.

The valkyrie, still helping the cat demoness walk, made her way over to the purple tent, and was relieved to see the rest of Team Awesome there, and being tended to. “My friend here has a head injury.” She informed to Nurse Cricket, and stayed her ground until Riyo could be looked at. As for the valkyrie? Pretty unscathed for the most part…certainly no where near as bad as the other students…

Purple Tent

(( Entering from the final frontier. ))

Allowing the valkyrie to help her hold her weight, she silently followed the ghoul wherever she was leading her. Certainly, Riyo was still a little discombobulated after taking a sharp hit to the side of her head, so she didn't much care where they might've been heading. Hel knew this was no time for joking, and thus the cat ghoul was sure they were heading towards some place safe.

When they had stopped, the ghoul released Hel and simply sat wherever she had been standing. "Mm. I could use a cup of coffee or something." The feline groaned and closed her eyes. They were back in Halloween. Oh thank Jack they were back in Halloween.

GODDESS OF TENTS - PURPLE

It took Cricket a minute to regain herself, but the emotionless mask she always wore seemed to have a significant crack in it even when she returned. It wasn't indifference, there was distinct sadness on her face. She had a job to do. If Red had died to save the students, she had a task to make sure that they were all returned to health. It would all mean nothing if the nurse didn't hold up her end.

Mitsu's signing was body language she was able to read well enough, watching her for a moment, before looking to Shun. He seemed disoriented and out of place, if she were to be honest, and the lack of senses seemed to tell her enough about that. The nurse smoothed a hand over the Reaper's forehead and looked at his eyes, then at his ears. Yes, they did seem to be turning quite useless, didn't they? It took a moment, but Cricket motioned to one of the cots, looking at Mitsu as she seemed to be standing in as a guide for the two boils she'd brought with her.

"Have them both lay down. What your friend here," she looked at Shun, "Needs is rest. However." she took one of her bottles of the medicine - one of the bottles that seemed to fill up no matter how much she put into it, "He'll need to take this. Not a lot of it, but..." she took one of the cups and turned it so that it lay upside down over the top of the bottle, "it will help. Not immediately. A sudden influx in FEAR would do more damage than good - it is why it takes time and care to heal someone. Take both of these and give him some of it every couple of hours. Only a little bit, but..enough of it." She nodded towards Mot. "If he takes an extra dose at about the same time, only one for him, it'll speed things up. By the end of the day, this one.." she patted Shun's shoulder again, "should start being able to at least see faint shapes and orient himself."

Again, the nurse paused. "If you wish to stay by the boils, you should drink some yourself, it'll help clear things up."

Cricket looked to the Valkyrie when she made her appearance, then to the feline that was with her. "Get her a seat on one of the cots, I will be over in a moment." she instructed carefully. She hoped that the purple tent would be as busy as it got.

Hel nodded when Cricket told her to help Riyo to a cot. “Come now friend, we don’t sit down there.” The reaper reached down and scooped both of her arms underneath Riyo’s, pulling the cat demoness up once more and guiding her over to one of the cots. Once she was there, the ghoul let her sit back down, and shuffled off to the side as to not get in the way of Nurse Cricket.

Maybe later, eh?” She half heartedly mused in regards to Riyo’s question about coffee.

Riyo looked less than pleased as she was lifted from the ground, resembling a cat who had just been picked up under the front paws.

"Later... Mhm." The ghoul nodded quietly and had a seat on the cot. "Where's everyone else?" She finally asked out of the blue, just now realizing that she hadn't seen them in that place...

Mot once again watched and listened to Cricket as she gave her instructions.More mystery liquid was prescribed, and as far as he could tell, Shun would be taking a long while to get better. Mot's eyes stayed on Mitsu for a while. She wasn't speaking, Then again, Mot hadn't either. Still, he worried that something had happened to silence his little sister. So worried.

His head lifted as Hel arrived with Riyo. He exhaled softly. They were both back, and Riyo was relatively okay.

Lay down? No thanks. Not here. Mot wanted to go home. Yet, not without his friends.

His reddened eyes looked Riyo, giving her a half-assed smile and a short wave. "We're here." He called out hoarsely.
