Frostbite hurmphed and sill looked perturbed at the strange female, but at least he wasn’t growling at her now. At the sound of another voice he looked around and finally up at some black kit sitting in a tree. The yellow fox referred to her as mom so he figured this was a perma like himself. He blinked and stared at her. How old was she? Did she grow up alone like him?
Burn smiled at Hiyoko. “It’s nice to meet you Miss Hiyoko, I’ve been looking forward to getting to know more of Raizo’s friends from the past.” She wondered at what the Shinku Chikai tribe was, but she could ask latter hearing the other fox she smiled and spoke aloud. “Oh no trouble here ma’am only suprises.”

Sulpher leapt down onto Hiyokos back labding nimbly on her feet."good I hate for my home to house violent behavior." The feline leapt off of the vixens back and began to scan the group over. Seeing nothing wrong she doubled around and began to walk into the forest."Hiyo when you have finished speaking woth your friend and his bride be sure to complete your rounds."
Raizo watched the old cat walk off. Supposedly she had been around for a while as she at times told stories from people who lived long ago."that's sulpher she basically raised Hiyo from kithood." He looked at the permakit." Wanna ride on my back for a while?"
Hiyoko smiled at frostburn"Hiyo is fine. Its what everyone xalls me.,and yeah I've known the parrot for quiet a while."

Frostbite watches Sulpher in complete fascination. So he wasn’t just imagining things she was a perma kit too! He looked at his adoptive parents for a moment and then to Hiyo. They would just fine without him for a while. After all the strange yellow vixen was a friend of Raizo’s and Frostburn didn’t have to worry about another vixen coming either to harm or to steal her husband away so a few minutes without Frostbite looking over them couldn’t hurt. He shook his head no at his father before bouncing off after the cat-like looking permakit named Sulpher.
Frostburn watched her son head off after the other permakit. She blinked hoping that they would be able to get along. She didn’t know if Frostburn had met to many other permakits in his life so perhaps this was something new for him? She turned her attention back to Hiyo. “Ah alright. ..eh? Parrot?” She couldn’t help but look at Raizo and giggle a bit. “Why was he called a parrot?”

Raizo sighed, Hiyo calling him parrot was originally an insult but after the 2 became closer it became a term of endearment for him. But he figured he would let her explain the reasons. Hiyoko smirked."well Rai here is a phim and a red one, a reaallly red one,soI call him parrot because back when I met him it was the easiest way of getting his attention. At first I used it in mean ways like calling him a bird brained parrot, or things like that, but Raizo becamea good friend, and always was someone I could talk to." Hiyos face became rosy remembering the 2's friendship and how had circumstances been different....no no no She had shuuha now and Raizo had this lovely woman in front of her. besides their friendship was more of a broother sister love then anything. Sulpher heard the rustleof leaves behind her, as her ears flicked backward. that child was following her."what is it you want child my ears may be old but I can hear you as well as when I was a kitten...."

“Your ears might not be as old as mine Miss Sulpher.” Frostbite stepped forward and up toward Sulpher’s side so she wouldn’t have to turn her head so far to look at him. He grinned happily. “You’re a perma like me. Did you really raise Hiyo?” Frostbite found it hard to believe that a perma would raise another fox, after all wouldn’t the other fox’s parents get angry?
Frostburn blinked feeling a bit jealous the other female had so many memories with her mate, still this was an important friend to Raizo, and who knows, perhaps hopefully Burn and Hiyo could be friends too. She nodded. “Yes Raizo is very easy to talk too… about most things. Though when we were practicing saying ‘I love you’” Burn’s cheeks tinted a dark shade of red causing her cheeks to look purple. “That was bit harder and I thought I killed him..”

Hiyoko laughed. "God Rai you scared your mate over an I love you..never thought Id hear that. you were the one always eggin e on to tell Gimpi I loved him....."she snickered."and you fainted when you said it to a cute girl like her...."
[Raizo laughed "well yeah I guess I did."He looked at Burn and walked over too her nuzzling her affectionately to ease her mind.
Sulpher grinned."Yes I raised Hiyoko from the time she was a kit, as well as others before her.As a being with instiinct such as my own I tend to take in orphans"She looked back a where Hiyoko was talking then looked back to the permakit in front of her, not all that surprised of him being a permakit."So how many years have you been around?"she decided to ask now to figure out who was older.

Frostburn blushed fiercely. “Oh well… you see.. I fainted… it’s not as easy as it seems to say that kind of thing to someone else.” Burn didn’t want Raizo to be teased so much at least not until she knew Hiro better. She felt bad bringing up something that the other vixen could tease him about.
“I’m not sure.. I didn’t used to keep track of time. It only made me lonely.” Frostbite looked down at his paws and played with a blade of grass. “I’ve met a few other perma kits but I never stayed along them for two long, they always seemed to have something to be doing off elsewhere.. and living with other foxes always was.. hard. So I stayed away from others and didn’t pay attention to anything other than surviving.” Frostbite had lived a long life, but so much of it was spent in solitude. He wondered how Sulpher viewed the world and managed to stay social when so much of the word was .. less than friendly to permas.

Sulpher smiled."I have been around for nearly 50 years" she had raised countless orphans. watched them grow up and have children then pass on. "Its surprising that I tend to be the mother when others would try to raise me from my appearance."
Raizo laughed."Burn dont worry, She finds something to bug me about no matter what I say, or do, thats just how she is. But its all just how she plays. anyway Hiyoko Im gonna get to the point....I need help finding a place to stay."
Hiyoko raised an eyebrow."you need a place to stay huh?" she stared at the phims."well all I can say is that shinku would be a good possibility, and its sadly all I can offer."

“I understand that. .. There have been a few mothers that had BCRs that ‘adopted’ me but then when their kits hatched and were almost grown and I didn’t they realized I was a permakit… since it’s unknown what causes a perma they didn’t want me around their kits just in case my condition was ‘contagious’. That’s why I told Raizo and Frostburn nearly right away Just in case they would be like the others…” Frostbite had tears welling up in his little ruby eyes.
“Shinku..” Frostburn thought about it for a moment. It had possibility but she didn’t want to impose on Hiyo except as a last resort. “Well we can look around and see, and then look at a few other spots and if we can’t find anything better we can come back and perhaps stay here?”

Hiyoko shrugged "thats fine.weve got plenty of room...trust me." The tribe was still trying to revive. And Hiyo was struggling to get the once drowned tribe back above water." But yeah do what you have to." Raizoo sighed. "Well keep it in mind Hiyoko.Thank you..." he looked at burn and smiled. "So what would you like to do while were here? Sulpher patted the kit on the back "There there" she said trying to comfort him.

Frostbite looked at Sulpher. He blinked. Was she trying to comfort him? He felt a bit patronized, and yet touched at the same time. He wanted to tell her to treat him like any other fox, and not like some kit; but only gritted his teeth and moved away from Sulpher’s touch. He wasn’t some little kit. Life hurt, but that happened. So instead of crying he started to silently sulk about being treated like a kit. He could be older than her for all they knew. Just because he didn’t keep a clockwork concept of time didn’t mean she had to look down on him.
Frostburn leaned into her mate not really sure what to do, but trying to come up with something since Raizo was letting her lead. “Let’s look around. I think this area is quite pretty. Besides if we stay for a day I can ask Hiyoko about all the embarrassing stories she knows about you.” With that she grinned at Hiyoko and winked.

Raizo smiled."we can do that if you want to. Hiyo would yo mind showing us around?"He askedthe grl in front of Him who simply nodded."thank you. Please lead the way."
Hiyoko looked at them andshook her head."alright parrot Lets get stepping" she had to think of a nickname for Raizos mate now."ok what would you like to see first?"
Sulpher sighed."Ok you can come find me when your ready to stop acting like a child"

Frostburn smiled happily and started following Hyioko. “Ah well.. I’m not really sure what a tribe has since I’ve never been in one before so what are the big things to see around here?”
Frostbite gave Sulpher a withering look. He was NOT acting like a kit. He was however annoyed. “I didn’t kick up a fuss, I didn’t break down and cry giving you my life story. I simply moved away from you because I don’t need to have a second adoptive mother. You as a fellow perma should understand the need for a friend and not condescension.” He still had the tears in his eyes threatening to come out as he turned and started heading off after his adoptive parents.

Sulpher Ignored his argument and continued walking
Hiyoko grinned."ok then I guess I can start with the store house which is close to here." she grinned and began walkin in the direction of the Hut That they used."a lon time ago the tribe used to be a human village however something scared them off and my ancestors claimed it. I dont know the details, they weren't rally elaborate in the stories.Thats why the buildings all look so unnatural"
Raizo started looking side to side trying to get a look at the repair she had been doing over the last few weeks."and the oldest living foxwo was ever in the tribe is your dad huh?"
Hiyoko nodded."yeah But he wasnt born in the tribe like I was. so He didnt get all that much of the history..."

“Oh I see.” Frostburn was interested by the strange building. “What is the history of your tribe?” It was at this point that she felt a small tug on her tail so she turned and picked up Frostbite. The little perma was looking at the human building, but he didn’t seem all that surprised by its unnaturalness like Frostburn was. She wondered if he ever had contact with humans before. She would talk to Raizo later. If Frostbite really liked the place then maybe they should stay here. He was smiling when she shifted him to the place he seemed to like on her back. She was relieved he liked that spot so well. It would let him rest and be safe while she could move. She looked at Raizo and gave him a small wink. She could feel Frostbite snuggling up next to her and she wondered if maybe when they found a home they could focus on their family and maybe add a few more members.
Frostbite was looking at the human building without really seeing it. His adoptive mother shifted him to her shoulders and he took his customary place between her wings so she could move freely if she wanted to. He was not happy and didn’t like this place in the least. Fist some strange fox tackled his adoptive father with was apparently ok because they knew each other. Then there was that condescending other perma who felt the need to mother when all Frostbite wanted was understanding not being patronized. Still his mother looked all excited so Frostbite smiled and snuggled up next to her. He wondered if she wanted to stay here. He didn’t, but that didn’t really matter. If Raizo and Frostburn wanted to stay then they could stay and live here in this tribe. He felt a pang of loneliness as he wondered if they would miss him if he left. He could still be their son and visit them… but to live in a place with another perma.. it sounded fun until you found out that the other perma was a pain in the tail. Frostbite ground his teeth quietly not wanting to spoil his adoptive parents fun.
