Samuel came back in with the first aid kit, and after seeing it down, he seemed to ponder a bit. "Laurella... if all aliens were as hot as you are, we would have gone into space a long time ago." He then smirked and added, "Thanks about the apartment, by the way. I try to keep it minimally clean."

He then got to work on fixing Laurella back up, pumping in plasma to help her blood levels recover, giving her some painkillers to help with the pain, and then putting a split on her leg to help put it back into shape.

"That should be it for your leg. If it starts hurting again, tell me so that I can kiss it better." He then playfully stuck his tongue out at her, and got to work on her wrist, which was a quicker job. He then sat down next to her, his posture relaxed.

"Alright, now that that is over, can you tell me what is going on? It's fun guessing who you are and where you come from, but sometimes it better to do away with the games and tell a guy the truth."

Samuel was quiet for a while, just watching Laurella's expression and body language before replying. When he did, his reply wasn't like what Laurella expected.

"Laurella... if this had been any other person talking to me, I would have questioned their sanity, maybe even called the police on them. But... there is something different about you. Not only does your story seems to fit the facts, but your personality does as well."

Samuel then smirks at her, looking her up and down.

"Plus, you are a hot girl and how can I say no to that?"

Samuel chuckles at this, for Laurella didn't know his girlfriend. She wasn't the kind of person to freak or really get angry at another girl staying with her boyfriend.

"My girlfriend? I don't think she would care if you stayed at my place. Worse comes to worse, I can pass you of as Bi, and that should keep her from throwing you out... I hope. Anyway, she is away on a trip this week with some of her friends, so she shouldn't complain."

Samuel then went off into the kitchen to get some drinks and food, calling back to Laurella as he grabs himself an energy drink and some cold steak.

"You hungry or thirsty? I can get you something quick if you want. Otherwise, it will take a little to prepare it."

Samuel went and got Laurella her glass of water and the ice for her waist and came back in. He hands them to her and then sitting down next to her, he leaned back and sighed.

"Guess I should tell you a bit about myself... only if you are interested of course." Samuel then smirks to himself as he thinks about what that conversation line might lead to. Best to not dwell on it.

"Hmm... Is there anything particular that you would like to know?"

Samuel nodded and moving in closer to Laurella, put an arm around her so that they could be warmer, because the day was winding down and the nights in the city were cold.

"I'm seventeen and have lived in this city for the nine years of my life. I first came here after my parents abandoned me, and was taken in by the manager of a boxing arena. He gave me shelter, food, clothing, and education in exchange for learning and practicing boxing."

Samuel looked to see what her reaction and opinion of this was.

"I hope I wasn't too emotional about my past. It's just a bit tragic. Anyway, I should tell you about the city before you go outside again."

"The city is called Oberous, and it's a place of adventure, danger, crime, romance, and all of that stuff that makes up the American dream. It's a fun place to live, if you like life on the edge, but it's best to be careful. There are people here who wouldn't mind to try and keep you here forever if they ever got word that you are a dimensional traveler."
Samuel smirks and leans back, drinking down another energy drink as he relaxes.
"Hey, do you have a boyfriend? I wouldn't want to make him angry if we were to live up life together."

Samuel sees the bruises on Laurella, and gets alarmed, not expecting for her to have been in an abusive relationship.

"He... he hit you?! I'm glad you broke up with him then, for he doesn't sound like the nicest of guys! Did you at least get some kind of revenge on him? Was he at least punished?!"

The words all kinda rushed out, uncontrollably, his anger at her former boyfriend, this person who he hadn't even met. He just couldn't understand how a guy could have it so go, and feel justified to hit them. Eventually, he did calm down enough to try and get her to explain.

"I'm sorry I just blurted that all out, but you didn't deserve what he did to you. Tell me what happened."
