Five minutes and a few wrong turns after leaving the orientation area, Alisa finally found the main girls dorm section. Right in front was a woman with red hair. She was too old to be a teacher, so Alisa figured she was in charge of room assignments. Walking up to the woman, she gave a kind smile. "Excuse me...are you the one I need to see about getting a room?"

Maxwell King

Maxwell's smile widens as she blushes and quietly voices her name. Very cute of her. "That's a nice name, Miira. You don't seem to talk much, from the looks of it? Don't worry. I'll talk enough for the both of us." Maxwell slicks his hair back again, and holds out a hand to her. "Let's walk and talk a little. Tell me more about yourself." Maxwell seems to be bit forceful, but more out of habit then out of conscious action.

Combat 9

"Aw, the big boys think I need protection. I can handle myself."

At these words, the lower ranks of the Combat 9 grow irritated, and they pull out their weapons, some of which include, a guitar, tarot cards, fractal drawings, a megaphone and other strange things. They seem strange in the hands of these people, but their intention seems to override the bizarreness of it all.

Then, before this can go any further, a hand is raised and the others stop.

"It was my order that told Rank Ten to stop. I'll deal with this one personally."

A tall, robed figure with the hood draw over their face moves through the crowd to stand before Maii. His presence feels... wrong, like he doesn't belong, but also radiates power, as if he is holding back.

He kneels down on one knee before her. "Pardon my subordinates rude behavior. I have no control of them sometimes, but then again, that is an assassin's life. But you already knew that, Miss...?" He prompts her.

The woman turned to face the girl and smiled, nodding. "Indeed I am. Derosia Mortisia, I oversee the girl's dorms." She pulled out a notepad and flipped to the first page. "Just give me your name, dearie, and I'll give you your room assignment."

The blonde man spotted a group of students and, with a roll of his eyes, start slowly approaching, hoping to get a better look.

Miira blushed even deeper.
"Um sure." She smiled timidly. "But I need to go tell my twin. She is kinda protective."

Maii

Maii had drawn her favorite knife when everyone had tensed up. The black coated blade wouldn't glint in light and give it away, and it was sharp enough to cut with the slightest touch. She had mastered knives. They were her favorite weapon.
"Shethi. Maii Shethi.", she said firmly, looking him straight in the face. She was respectful in her gaze and tone, but she was not about to back off. Yes, he could probably kill her, but her life meant little to nothing to her. Part of her had always wondered what it was like to die.
Despite the fact that he probably sees it as a threat, as do many other "classmates", she does not re-sheath her knife. In fact, she tightens her grip on it and tenses her body, ready for a fight. Hey, if I am going to go down I might as well go down fighting., she thinks. A half insane smile spreads across her face.
"I appear to have already made enemies. I guess pissing people off is a curse of mine.", she says with a bit of sarcastic laughter.

Alisa gave a quick nod and replied. "Alisa Gardener." She spoke in a respectful tone. Since she was already here, she thought that she might try to get some information on her room mate as well, if she had one. "Is there any way you would be able to tell me who I might be sharing a room with?"

Maxwell King

"Sure thing, sweetheart. Just don't be too slow about it!" He called after her, leaning coolly back against a nearby pillar to allow his coat to blow in the breeze. "So badass..." He said to himself, reaching for a cigarette to finish up his look... only to remember he didn't have any. "Damn. Guess this will do. No one man can top my looks anyway."

Combat 9

Rank One nods as Maii tells him her name. "Maii... Call me Samuel. Though if you wish, you may call me Lucifer." He then turned and with a sweep of his hand, him and the other Combat 9 move away. His final words seem to trail after him. "I hope we can meet again on more friendly terms... For you show potential for this line of work, and while there aren't many here who would respect that, I am an exception." He then disappears into the darkness of a nearby corridor and vanishes.

Miira & Maii

Mirra

Miira runs over to her sister and talks to her quickly. Then she comes back over to Maxwell.
"Um.... Maxwell, don't you need to get your schedule?" She doesn't meet his eyes, and her voice is timid.

Maii

Maii looks over to her "classmates" and decides one thing: She is gonna keep her back on a wall for this entire year. There is no way she is gonna give anyone the opportunity to take her out easily.
She looks over to where Miira ran off and notices the guy she was talking about. He was good looking enough, but Maii could almost see the arrogance and self-absorption pouring off him, polluting the air around him. She didn't like this guy, and she doubted that her kind-hearted sister would after she discovered what he was really like. She was half tempted to walk over there, but that would mean turning her back to this group of a-holes, and she sure as heck wasn't gonna do that.

The woman nodded and smiled. "You're in room 75. And no, you don't have a roommate yet. But we get plenty of students that come in mid-year, so you'll have one eventually, I'm sure." She pulled out a keyring and flipped through the numerous keys before pulling out a key with the number 75 on it before taking it off the ring and handing it to the girl. "Welcome to Nurthalos, Miss Gardener."

Alisa was a bit disapointed to hear that she wouldn't have a room mate. She was kinda hoping that there would be someone around whose mind she could probe. "Thank you madam." She said as she took the ring and went to find her room. It was much easier than looking for the dorm area itself, since from here the rooms were numbered. Alisa just had to walk down the hall untill she got to the one with 75 on it. Wasting no time, she went into her room just long enough to set the extra bag she had brought with her down on the side where most her stuff had already been placed. What Alisa wanted was to explore the school, familiarize herself with different areas, but most of all, she wanted to get a quick look at some of the personalities that were here. Maybe she would find one that interested her.

The long-haired, ponytail boy made his way to the front of the girl's dorm and waved for the red-haired woman, who ran over. "Oh, Miles. I was just gonna look for you." She handed him an envelope with his name on it and nodded. "Here's your allowance." He nodded and pocketed the envelope before making his way to the school cafeteria.

Alisa had just made her way back to the start of the girl dorms when she saw that there was a boy just down the hall. It was close enough for her to pick up on the short conversation, and she became a bit curious. It was easy to figure that the two knew each other and that the boy must have been a returning student. What interested Alisa was the he was being given an allowance of some kind. There weren't many reasons that would explain why school staff would give a student an allowance. It was abnormal...just the kind of thing that Alisa enjoyed the most. She desided to follow the boy from a distance and see how much more she could learn about him through observation.

The boy went up to the counter of the cafeteria and opened the envelope before handing them a $5 bill, and speaking in a faintly Texan accent. "Pastrami sandwich and a Ginger Ale, please." The man behind the counter nodded and handed him a sandwich and a can of soda before the boy went towards a table and took a seat.

Well, observation wasn't working. The only thing Alisa had been able to gather was how to get to the caffitaria and that he might be from a southern country area. She would have to try somethng different. To make it less obivous that she was following him, Alisa ordered a green tea and a fruit salad. She paid the man once he gave her what she ordered and took a seat about ten spaces away from the boy on the same side. Her peripheral vission would allow her to watch him without having to dirrectly look at him, making her less susspicious.

He ate his sandwich slowly, taking a sip of his soda every few bites as he pulled a piece of folded paper from his pocket and unfolded it, looking it over. The contents of the paper were what looked like firearm blueprints and schematics.

Dang it... Alisa had seen that the boy pulled out some kind of paper, but at the angel he held it, she could see what was on it. It could have been anything from a mission assignment if he was in the assassin classes to something as simple as his class schedule. Whatever it was, it would probably give her some answers about him, but not from this distance. There wasn't much that she could do without breaking from her incognito survalance style. Oh well....this boy intrigued her enough to where she didn't care. Standing from her seat, she walked right over to him, staying far enough away to not make her seem overly rude about her approach, but close enough to seem friendly. Alright, I give up. I can't crack your shell just by watching you, so I have to ask....what makes you different?"
