I know you don't mean to upset anyone Esiris. I'm just trying to make clear that it's a metaphor and even the original author said that. You are right that calling it a shadow sign would cause less conflict but I think some people love their metaphors or to make things sound a certain way. I just used her terminology as she had it because I don't like to change others work. But that's why there are only 12 instead of 13 b/c it's not based on the actual moons.
