Yes adult bears where a force to be reckoned with. They normally always won in battles with sheer strength and speed and worse when they started to eat you, you where still alive. Aelous wasn’t sure if nebula knew that but who was he to tell her such things. Perhaps after this whole ordeal was done he would tell her but at the moment she already looked spooked enough. Aeolos laughed and smiled back at his running partner before nodding towards her. “Ah well I’m not really familiar with the area. I shall refer to your judgment then pretty lady.” He said with a completely charming smile. Following her he watched as she shimmed up to the springs and repressed the urge to watch her very cute tail. Hardly the time but perhaps once again later.

Nebula giggled as she walked up to the springs, looking over her shoulder to see if Aeolos made it through the hole. When she discovered that he had she smiled and walked over to the springs and gently dipped one of her paws in. "Do you like the hot springs Aeolos?" She smiled back at him, "Because after the stressful day that we've had....I think we deserve a little bit of rest.....don't you agree?" She slid back a little, then cannon balled right into the spring, which was luckily deep enough for her to do that without being too reckless.

"Hot springs are nice" He nodded tilting his head to the side. "well depends on the hot spring. You stay in one too long and risk passing ou." he trailed off spitting out water he was suddenly drenched with and looked out into the hot springs mock glaring. Before he could say anything he heard the growl of the bear again and slowly inched into the water to mask his scent a bit more. "hmm i think we may be here a while. Know of any ways to pass the time" he teased. There was one that came to mind but he was hardly going to do that until he was quite certain he was going to take Nebula as a sparkly maiden.

Poking her head out of the water, she crept up behind him and rubbed up against his back. "Actually...I know of a couple ways...." Nebula nuzzled against his neck as she purred softly. "But non of them would be decent right now soooooo..." She giggled and slid under the water, swimming away from him. When she resurfaced she was a safe distance away leaning against a rock. "We could play a game or some sort. What is your favorite game to play?"

Aeolos let out a small little moan. His muscles were soo tense. He had been traveling for quite a while and the whole bear chase wasn't too ideal on his over worked muscles. He laughed and looked over at the girl. Apparently they both had minds in the gutters. Long term with her could be doable. "hmm well I tend to like catch, tag, hide and seek. Hardly games to play when hiding from a bear. I guess we could play twenty questions, although Aloli and I always shorten the game to ten a piece" he pondered out loud. "It'll let you learn more about me and vice versa"

nebula giggled with him, "Glad to see that I am not the only pervert here." She smiled at him and nodded her head, "Alright then mister you got yourself a deal...Only since I am the girl I get to go first." Nebula stuck out her tongue, "Why did you leave your tribe and your family?" She looked at him, she knew why she had left Orion but it was only temporary and she had every intention of going back there to him.

"hmmm why did I leave my tribe well I guess I wanted to see the world. Experience adventures on my own and all that. Tribe life wasn't for me well not necessarily. There may be a tribe I'll just connect one with but..." he trailed off and shrugged his shoulders a bit. "as for family. I'll go back and visit but they understand. I need to go out and find me. Find where I need to go. They dont necessarily like it and I'll have to visit a lot but they do understand whats best." he answered. "hmmm well we know you like hot springs so... whats your favorite time of the day?"

She listened to him, then smiled at him softly. "I suppose I can understand that then..." She chuckled, "I doubt anyone could stand their family all the time. I've told Orion many times that I wanted to go out on my own and experience life." She blushed, "He didn't agree with me..." Nebula paused and looked at him, "My favorite time of the day.....oh well....I guess I would have to sayyyyy..." She pursed her lips and thought about it. "I have to say the time when the day is ending and night is beginning....I love sunsets..." She blushed as she looked at him, "So um...." Nebula looked at him, "Have you.....ever....had a female that you were interested in taking as a mate?"

Aeolos felt like laughing at the sudden personal questions but he was fine with that... after all this was a game to do such in. "no and especially when you have three older sisters, three older brothers, a brother in law, three nephews and um two niece in laws." he didn't think he was missing any one in the immediate family. Now onto the harder question"hmmm I would have to say yes and no. Your turn well I'm on a sky theme might as well go with favorite weather?"

"Yes and no is not an answer!" Nebula giggled, "But I will let you dodge it this once....but not again...." She leaned back against the side of the spring as she thought. "Well i hate the rain so....I guess that I like sunny...." She blushed, "Snow is pretty but very cold...." Nebula looked at him and thought about what question to ask next, "What is your favorite food?" She decided that for once she was going to give him an easy question.

"Hey its a very acceptable answer which only makes since in my mind." Aeolos smirked and then thought about his favorite food. "hmmm food... food food. Well I think I would have to say beef. We dont get it often because humans seem to not like it when we take their cows but its much better than deer or elk. After beef I would say raspberries. so question three. Why is your brother so protective?" there a hard one for her or maybe not so hard he didnt mind if she didnt want to answer it.

"Ooo that is a tough one...." Nebula nibbled on her bottom lip as she thought about it. "I suppose it is because I am the only family that he has left and....." She looked down at the water in front of her and sighed heavily, "Well i....I'm a female and he considers females to be weaker then males and he thinks that if he doesn't protect me all the time that something bad will happen to me and he'll lose me....I guess....I don't know but it is the only thing that I can think of." She looked up at him and smiled weakly, "My turn....Um....well.......how do you feel about me?" She blurted out without thinking about it first.

“Well I can see where that comes from. Family is important and girls tend to be more open about their emotions. However I don’t really think their weak. You coddle a girl and restrict her long enough and she’ll turn around and kick your a**” Aeolos stated chuckling as he remembered getting saved from a mountain lion by Aloli. It wasn’t a very smart move to underestimate that girl. She put on the silly “I’ll pretend not to have all my marbles in the same jar” act but truthfully she was just as good as the boys. “However he needs to know he needs you to find your own wings or he’s going to loose you anyways.” Oh well he was expecting that question really just more down the road he guessed. “well I think your special definitely. I’m not sure however if you’re the sparkly grape maiden” he answered cryptically on purpose. “My turn…. I’ll go easy this time... favorite thing to do during the day?”

"Play!" Her tailed wagged in the water as she beamed, "Orion...when i was little of course, well he used to play with me all the time...I always loved it because he would always let me win." She beamed at him, "I wish that i had as many brothers and sisters as you had though...Can you imagine all the games that we could have played together!" She was excited now, "When I have a mate I want to have 6 kids....no maybe more..." She bounced up and down, "Speaking of which....my next question is how many kids do you want? If you wants kids that is."

Aeolos watched her tail wag chuckling a bit, she was definitely very expressive. “We used to let Aloli win but then she’d kick our asses and we’d actually try. She’d win anyways” He recalled. “Well it’s not all spiffy as it sounds, when we where born only the four of my full blooded siblings where kits. My Nephews and their mates, and my older siblings where fully grown because they where from a previous um mating my mother had. Hmmm little tykes running around that will look like me or the grape maiden yeah I wouldn’t mind. I wouldn’t mind more than six either but its going to have to be with my life mate. My family was a bit strained since Mom started a new family. Hmmm how would you like to meet my family one day” he asked a bit cryptically.
