Heartsong sighed, padding away. She smiled, watching Redpaw admire Riverstrike's hunting skills. She stared at the placid, blue sky, smiling her small smile.

Riverstrike rose her head. "Maybe someday I'll be your mentor," she said to Gorgekit. She rather liked him, and how brave and forward he was. She hoped Silverstar would let her mentor him.

Leapingpaw sprinted over to her mentor, impressed by her catch.
"Can you take me hunting so you can teach me how to hunt like you?" she asked Riverstrike. "Please?"

Rosepaw nodded, "Ok Darkheart." She mewed. Rosepaw followed him, ''So what is the berry i'm going to lern about today?" SHe asked curious.

"This one," Darkheart said, leading her to a bush with bright red berries. They looked very tasty and delicious. "Humans call em Yew Berries," he explained.

Silverstar padded out of his den. There was something bothering him lately. It was in the middle of Greenleaf, and yet it was getting hard to find prey. Why was that? He wanted to find out quickly.
Padding over to the Great Rock, he sprang up and yowled his summons.
"Let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather here for a clan meeting!"

Riverstrike looked apologetically at Leapingpaw. "Looks like we'll have to wait," she said, padding over and sitting down.

Silverstar looked around, making sure that every cat was there before speaking.
"Cats of LeopardClan, as you are no doubt aware, there has been a shortage of prey," he began. "Never before has the fresh kill pile been so empty. Not even in Leaf bare." There were murmurs of agreement. "Obviously something is driving away our prey. So I want to call a gathering with the other two clans and straighten this mess out."

Heartsong nodded, hearing Silverstar's announcement. Leaf bare was here, and there would barely be food in the fresh-kill pile. She knew that very well.

Silverstar looked around before speaking again.
"Heartsong, Riverstrike, and Leapingpaw will go with me as I go to TigerClan and LionClan to call the meeting. We need to get this mess straightened out as soon as possible."
Then he dismissed the clan and leaped down from his perch and padded towards the entrance to camp.

Leapingpaw leaped to her feet in excitement. She was going with the clan leader to call a gathering! What an important mission! She quickly trotted over to the entrance.
"I'm ready, Silverstar!" she mewed.

"Yes, sir, Silverstar!!" Heartsong purred. She held in her excitement, padding over to the entrance.
