"Of course you can help," Windfall told the apprentices with a purr. "It's always refreshing to see apprentices so willing to help." She showed them both where the hole was. "We need to patch it up so nothing can get through," she explained.

Saborclaw padded out of the den and stretched. It looked like everyone was busy at the moment. Windfall looked like she didn't need anymore help, but he still padded over.
"When you're done with that, maybe we should patrol the border," he suggested to her.

Rumblepaw and Tumblepaw mostly kept to themselves. They didn't really hang out with the other apprentices. Rumblepaw pounced on Tumblepaw. "I bet I can make it further up that tree than you!" she challenged.
"Yeah right!" Tumblepaw sneered. He took a great running head start and leaped half way up the tree. "Take that!" he snorted at his sister.

"Sure, Saborclaw," she replied. "We're almost finished here."

Roaringclaw padded out of the warriors den and gave himself a shake.
"Sunpaw, where are you?" he called for his apprentice. "We're going battle training today!"

Shadowfall padded out of the medicine den and looked around. Some of their supplies were getting low ever since leaf bare. They were going to have to get some more.
"Leafpaw! Let's go!" Shadowfall called to the medicine cat apprentice.

Crystalwing sat beneath a tree, cleaning her paws as she watched the camp go about its buisness. Some warriors went off with their apprentice's, while others went off to hunt. The white lion hated hunting and was never very good at it, she'd rather battle than hunt. She sighed and got up, deciding to go visit Ashwhisker and her kits.
Ashwhisker smiled as Crystalwing walked in, "Hi."
"Hey," Crystalwing smiled and looked down at the two kits. She scowled, she never wanted to have kits. "How are you?"
"Good, you alright?" The lioness watched her best friend carefully. Crystalwing nodded and sat. Ashwhisker narrowed her eyes, but let it drop. "You need an apprentice really bad."
"What?" Crystalwing looked up at her friend. "I do not! Apprentices are to much work and annoying."
"You use to be one," Ashwhisker purred. Crystalwing rolled her eyes. "You should talk to Sunstar, tell her you want an apprentice." The white lioness shook her head, but said nothing.

Thunderleap dragged his prey back to camp and set it on the fresh-kill pile. He felt terrible that he was the deputy and was not able to find more prey. He hated himself for it. So he took only the smallest piece of prey for himself, only enough to keep his belly from rumbling. He did not deserve a feast.
As he ate, he wondered if TigerClan and LeopardClan were having trouble finding prey too.

Rumblepaw spotted Thunderleap and padded over to him. "Hey, are you gonna take me training some time?" she asked, "I wanna get ahead of my brother!"
"You'll never be ahead of me!" Tumblepaw snarled and pounced on her.

Thunderleap purred. He always liked the two siblings. They were full of energy and made him feel young. "All right," he said, "Why don't I take both of you hunting, since Sunstar isn't back yet?"

Saborclaw spotted Thunderleap and padded over to him.
"Windfall and I are going on border patrol," he told the deputy. "I'm worried about the disappearing prey. It's in the middle of greenleaf, after all. Maybe we'll see a Leopard or TigerClan patrol and see if they know anything."

Brightstorm padded away from the freshkill pile and made her way over to Saborclaw.
"I'll go with you Saborclaw," she told him. "I'm anxious to get out of camp for a while."

Sunstar stopped running, and placed her kills on to the pile. She climped up to a rock, and said. "let all cats old enough to catch their own prey gather beneath the rock for a clan meet" She yowled.
