The cross, an artifact of holy power, senses the prescence of a vampire moving towards it. It creates a force-field of holy lightning around it to protect itself and its wearer.

The lightning fades. The black flames surrounding Hiroku do not. But Hiroku is unaware of any of this, as he slumbers on.

The black fire roars into ignition at the touch of the vampire girl. The cross shines out, with its master asleep, it creates the forcefield over his entire body, sealing the black flames within to prevent any wanton destruction.

Nanako opens one eye as she sees hiroku she then gets up and walks over to him as her eyes change the icy white blue her hands start to glow a dim pure white as she knelt down infront of hiroku ignoring the girl as she reached into the black force and placed her hands on hirokus shoulders gentaly shaking him to wake him"

The field brightened, it'd lightning grew deadly to all that touched it. The cross could not allow the black flames to escape or touch anything, its power had only been overridden once before. Never again.

Nanako ignored the pain of the shock from the cross her body started to glow a dim pure white light as she pushed threw forcing threw all of the barriers but it also brought pain uppon her but she was persistant on waking him

Hiroku startled awake, his grey eyes turned as red as Nanako's with the release of the black flame. The cross still shone, suppressing the flames, but the field dissapated, allowing Hiroku to be touched. He stared at Nanako and Keysa, he red eyes shining in the darkness. "What?" he asked.

Nanako was breathing heavily as she stood up, "nothing, just waking you up" she was in immense pain as she walked off back to her tree, she seen those eyes before. It was right before the incident happened tho she hated those eyes but how could she when it was her brothers.

Hiroku blows out the black fire, "You shouldn't touch it, it cannot be controlled or used by anyone except me. Others have tried. All of them failed and died." he said, the color of his eyes fading to their normal grey.
