from the few I remember and played I really liked Kitana, Sindel, Sonya, and Mileena. I know there are quite a few more than that like Jade I think? Yeah she was kind of cool too.

I've never been super fan-ish for any of them. Sonya Blade is pretty badass but her personality is just a taaad generic (I'M A WOMAN BUT I'M TOUGH AS NAILS GRRRR), Kitana is kind of boring, and I just never liked Mileena that much. Her whole thing just seems to be that "lol I'm actually really hideous!" thing. And Jade is just tan.
The closest they've gotten to interesting is probably Nitara since she's not really evil or anything but still manipulated a couple characters to do some tasks for her without actually being really malicious or anything to them....but the fact that I only just remembered her now and after a bit of thinking I guess just kind of points out how memorable she is. She's no Morrigan, I guess.

So yeah, Sonya Blade.

Jade is black, dude. She doesn't have to be like, DARK dark, to be black. She's like Tanya.

Actually, I always liked Mileena. Even before I knew she was all monstrous underneath, just because when I was little, and the graphics on the home consoles didn't make it that obvious. But I dunno, I actually like that they oversexualized her now, because then it's like, "Oh man, she's hot," and then she takes her veil off and bites your head off. Like, her fatality in Deception, I gotta say, it freaked me the hell out. But the thing is, the characters have been fairly two-dimensional in the games. Mileena was in an episode of MK: Conquest, and even in that, they gave her this personal conflict where she doesn't want to be the monster that she is. Which gave her character more depth. That and the comics as well. And I know none of those things are really canon, but that's my point exactly. They COULD give her more depth than "I wanna be Kitana". There's potential for a lot of internal conflict with her.

Sonya's always been awesome. She was a little too hard edged in the first movie. But I like the way she was portrayed in the cartoon series a lot. She did have her feminine side. And she was just a lot more fun, but at the same time, they reflected more on that whole, "Kano killed my partner" backstory.

Don't care all that much for Kitana. Always nice to look at, though.

I hated Nitara, to be honest. I mean, I get what they were doing. They said, "Well, Vampires are in human lore, so we can just say they come from a different realm." Which makes sense. But MK really didn't need vampires. Her design sucked, too.

I liked Kira, for some reason. Even though she's a little token. But they tried to make her a blend of Sonya and Kano, and it worked really well. And her design wasn't half bad either. Her backstory kinda sucked though.

Frost, again, token fem-Sub-Zero. She's been done 1000 times in MK fanfiction, but hey, I like the icy spikes hairdo.

Li Mei kinda sucks. Nothing interesting about her. Other than her name, which I just call her "Lei Mi" as in "Lay me"

Ashrah was pretty cool, I thought. I like her backstory as this Born-Again anti-demon. And her design was pretty cool. I didn't really like her color scheme, the plain white was a bit boring. But her alternate outfit was cool.

I have always loved Quan Chi's assassins. From Mythologies, so Sareena is another favorite of mine.

Sindel's pretty cool. Nothing too exciting, but I liked her better when she was evil.

I love Sheeva, to be honest. Again, she's a token female Goro, (in fact, before they came up with Sheeva, they refered to her as Shegoro), but I dunno... Man... I gotta say, I'd do her.

So yeah, my three favorite Female characters in MK would have to be Mileena, Sareena and Sheeva.

You know I always thought all along that Baraka and Mileena would be a PERFECT couple...you know with that whole mouth thing and all...................just throwing it out there.......... cool

Speaking of Baraka I must say he's another one of my fav's. He was fun to right with considering his giant a** hand blades. Reminds me of what they did to Deadpool in the Wolverine movie...what a knock off of Baraka, seriously. Loved the movie but god.....poor Deadpool.

God...all this MK talk. Its been years since I've even played the games. Been even MORE years since I watched the cartoon series or a tad bit of the live action. I do like the live action show they came out with though. Really good stories at least from what I remembered. But Bio...you'd do Sheeva? Oh man.....what I'd do with 4 limbs....well you could masturbate with one, you could masturbate your partner with another, you could......god where was I going with this? wtf were we talking about? its nearly 3am, got class at 8am....whoopdigoing to bed now.

for me i always liked goro and not because hes the cheapest fighter ever made but underneath his massive ego is a strong warrior that will never back down and never hold back hes the pure example of human will and human error.
shao kahns another one i know he never shuts up EVER.but when he wants to he will kick your a** inside out then back again then inside out again before he smashes your skull open like a peanut.
never liked raiden but again hes intriguing i think hes evil but hes good so he claims, i only liked how he was done in the first and second movie but in conquest,dotr,and shaolin monks he drove me nuts, and as for johnny cage hes actually awesome early on, he was just molded in later years as a douchebag, but mk1 johnny is still my fav to play as and i like him in the movies.

I don't even see why. First of all, even in MK Mythologies, and UMK3, and MK4, Sub-Zero was played by a white guy.
Second, Deception was where they first revealed that Sub-Zero is most likely a descendant of an ancient race of Cryomancers, hence NOT Chinese.
Yeah, it was a stupid costume.
