The Hokage sighed and looked around nervously, "I, um... think that I do? I mean, I do."
She gave herself a hug and moved to sit down on a patch of grass. "I am actually a little shocked. I feel so foolish for not realizing it. Well, I may have... but didn't really thing that you did feel that way," she said softly while looking up at him.

He slowly came over and sat down beside her with a sigh. "I didn't believe it at first. I thought it was just me being sick or something like that, but as time went on, I slowly realized that they were real. I guess I'm part of the blame for your shock. I waited too long as well to realize anything."

She looked over, and nudged Kikimaru, "Life is full of surprises. If anything...let's take it slow. Even if nothing works out, I still want to be your friend."
Looking around she smiled, "You have a nice clan starting right now."

He nodded, slightly relieved. He hesitantly reached his hand over so it was beside her's. He was blushing slightly as he smiled warmly.

Looking down she took his hand. "You're wonderful," she said as she gave his hand a slight squeeze.
"However, I don't mean to cut this moment short... But, I really do need to return to my office. A new mission was posted this morning, and I need to return to oversee the applicants. It's just a small mission to retrieve a Rogue... maybe Kojika could help me?" she said, as she got up, "If you see her, would you let her know?"
Deni then bent down and gave Kikimaru a soft kiss. "See ya later, Kiki!" she called out as she walked away.

Kikimaru Laughed hard as some little kids tackled and tickled him. "Come on! Please stop! That tickles!" but that made them tickle him more.

The next few days were strange ones. It had been raining more than usual and for the Kespire Clan, it meant everyone was very sick. They all hated the rain because it made them very ill and vulnerable...especially the leader. Every leader before Kikimaru got the worst of the sickness for the weirdest reasons, but all that mattered was that there was always sleep.

The Hokage entered through the Clans gates.
She held onto a canvas bag filled with some things, she looked around... not really sure where Kikimaru would be.

A small girl of the Kespire looked up from her small game and smiled. "Uncle Kiki is in his bed." She said, pointing up the road to an older house.

She turned and walked towards the old house. When she arrived, Deni walked up and knocked gently on the door.
"Kiki? Kikimaru... Are you home?"

The sound of someone blowing his nose answered her. "Yeah...sort of..." His voice sounded funny as he opened the door. He had puffy red eyes and a flushed face. "Hey..."
