After Alucard finished bandaging the girls leg, he put his first aid kit away in his bag, leaving the water and dried meat out next to her along with the clean clothes, and made his way back out to the water to gather his fishing spear and basket. When he got to them, he found that the other fish had gotten into his basket and cleaned the fish he had caught. He sighed in frustration and began once again to catch some new fish.

While he was gone she quickly put the clean clothes on, whincing from her leg, just a tiny bit. She could feel pain a little more thanks to her mark, like her others sences were more sharpened then the average human. They had to be to survive. Rosailina sat next to the fire and warmed up. She found a pear and took it from the tree and bit into it. Rosa smiled at it and looked around, being cautious for anything that might get her. She found a rabbit and a few birds, and as she went back, she found a sharp stone to protect herself with. Rosa didn't know weither to trust the man or if he was trying to lead her into a false sense of secrity and try to hurt her. Even if his mark was a scar. Rosa thought this as she hid her findings in a bush and waited for him by the banking fire.

After a few more failed attempts, Alucard managed to catch new fish. He put them in the basket and headed back to shore where the girl was. He dug his spear into the sand, went to his bag to get the cutting board and knife, he then went back to the waters edge and began to clean the fish, leaving the innards, scales, head and bones in the water for the other fish to pick clean. He then went back to the fire, setting up a makeshift spit so the fish could be cooked over the fire. Quietly, he stared into the fire as he slowly turned the fish over the fire.

She stared at him. Then at the fish. Rosailina got up and took a bird and the rabbit she got eariler and skinned them and put them close to the fire. She wasn't sure what to say, so for a few more moments she remained quiet. "So... How come your here and not with the rest of the humans?"

Alucard set the cooked fish on the cutting board to cool off, and then put the rabbit on the spit to cook. When she asked him the question, it took him awhile to think of what to say, since it has been ten years since he held any conversation with another he had been lacking in the conversation skills. slowly and methodically he began to speak as to make sure he wouldn't be speaking gibberish. "This is my new home, and has been for the last ten years." he paused for a moment "I had been banished from the main lands because of their fear of a simple folklore... though I have to say, this is the best banishment I have ever heard of." he chuckled "Banished to a tropical paradise, far from the turmoil and suffering from the remains of the war, suffering from the prejudice and struggling to find food." He continued to tend to the spit as he stared off into the flame once again.

Startled, she stared at him in awe. 10 years? She was nine and had no clue about survival until a year later. Banishment... Is this what it was? "Why... Why were you banished?" Rosailina blurted and covered her mouth, embaressed by her outburst. She blushed and turned away. Rosa knew better, for those ten years she was still in the world, surviving off of people's honesty and had to diguse herself as a normal girl. She swallowed. She looked at the fish hungrliy and looked at her catch. The bird was done, the rabbit still needed time to cook, so Rosailina took her bird and bit into it, forgetting it would be hot and burned her tounge. She kept eatting it without whining, punishing herself for her outburst.

Alucard raised an eyebrow in surprise with the girls sudden outburst, and stared in bewilderment as the girl bit down on the bird. He got up to collect the water, tin can and the vile of aloe-vera, he filled the tin can with watter and added a few drops on the medicine. "This should help with the burn." he said calmly, and continued "The fish should be cool enough now, please help yourself while your bird cools off." He then took the rabbit off the fire to cool down and answered her question. "The folklore that they feared mentions children of great beasts that will gain control over man through a great war. These children will have unique birthmarks that closely resembles the runes of an element that coincides with the powers of those beasts, granting them the power of the gods." he chuckled "These runic birthmarks have brought me nothing but misery until they banished me, I have to admit that I have been blessed to have been washed ashore on this island."

She looked at him. Rosailina took the tin and sipped while whispering a thank you. He tounge's burn ceased a bit as she put her bird aside and took a fish and bit into the side. "Birthmark? Like mine?" She showed him her birthmark, the lavender circle and the three triangles above them. She watched him, thinking what she did was risky, but Rosa wanted answers, and why she was chased everytime a person saw it.

Alucard looked at her birthmark and said "I honestly don't know, supposedly there is a book of omens held by one of the surviving city's on the main land. Within this so called book, there are very descriptive entries with graphs, charts, dates, pics and whatnot. and from what I can remember many of the events that were foretold in the book have been spot on." with that said he took the other fish and began to eat.

She ate in silence, enjoying the sky, for the sun was setting. Rosailina relaxed for the time being, as it seemed as if he too was being followed, and he wouldn't do much if he was banished. Would he? Rosa thought it as odd, that he was out there. He looked like every normal person, even with the marks on his face. Or was she thought was normal was because she was not? Or he seemed like just another person, hunting her down like they are him? She finished her fish and subconciously took her bird and bit into it. She ignored her other thoughts and fears and listened to the ocean. She had no more questions, for she was still tired from running from the ship.

After Alucard finished his fish, he put his belongings into his bag and sat back down next to the fire. Staring into the fire he watched the flames dance around the burning driftwood. Slowly he asked "What will you do? now that you are on this island with now way of returning to the main land. and as it draws closer to night?"

She looked at him in surprise, then looked at her bird. Rosailina never thought of it, since she came here, passed out and woke up, she pretty much had nothing to fear, but him. he might be a great hunter for all she knew, but what would he profit out of a runaway, a stray. People have tried to kill her, some lead her into false secrities, but he might be the same as her. He was an outcast, and if he came back to the world, what might happen to him? Rosa looked back to the sky. For awhile she remained quiet, not relaxed, she shifted a little and and whispered, "If I went back, you think I'd really have a chance of living?" She looked at him sadly, fire reflecting in her eyes, tears starting to form, just a hint, she wouldn't cry for she never let herself to. But this once, maybe someone will see the pain.

Alucard could see her eyes watering up, but didn't say anything. He knew all too well how hard it was to be on the run. Stretching while he stood up Alucard could feel a change in the atmosphere and made his way to his gear to get ready to go back to his hut. "Its going to rain in about twenty minutes, I have a Small hut up the cliff, your more than welcome to stay if you wish, If not I understand." he looked at her, now with his bag and basket strapped to his back "If memory serves there is a small recession in the cliff wall about five minutes up the beach that should keep you dry if that is what you prefer at the moment." He stood there leaning on his fishing spear to hear her response.

She looked at him, waiting if he was going to use the spear. But she had to trust him, just a bit. She nodded. Rosailina had to take her chances and risk everything. "A hut? You made it yourself?" She was curious as she got up. Rosa smiled a bit and walked to him, limping a bit on her leg. She didn't feel it, and she carried her rabbit with her. "May I ask, I forgot to when you stitched me up and eariler, I know its rude..." Rosa paused when she stood next to him. She looked up at him. "Whats your name?"

"Im Alucard, and yes I have made myself a hut to live in." He knew that she wouldn't be able to put much weight on her leg and handed her his spear. "Use this as a makeshift crutch to keep the weight off your leg." He threw sand in the fire pit to smolder the flames. "when we get to the cliff edge I will climb up first and then pull you up, is that alright with you?"
