Xiao stood leaning against the wall of a house on the side of the road lost deep in a world of his own thoughts, "Now that I've escaped from the fire nation what will I do?", Xiao thought lowly to himself,"It is obvious that I can't face such a large enemy alone... Perhaps the help I seek will find me at this Rumble I keep hearing about..."

Xiao leaned forward with a sigh as he moved into a stride walking about the earthen kingdom. "That's another thing... If any of these earth benders find out I'm a fire bender I'm as good as finished... I should refrain from using my bending skills if I get into a fight..."

Xiao continued walking easily getting lost. He had never been to this part of the earth kingdom. Xiao folded his arms behind his back. One could easily tell he was once a man of importance but no longer.

Though he was blind Xiao moved through the roads as well as a person who could see. He had to keep the fact that he was blind hidden from his enemies or they might try to use it against him. Soon Xiao came to a stop scratching his head, "It's official... I'm lost..." He said lowly with a sinking tone in his voice.

"This isn't a negotiation it's a suicide!!"

Xiao let out a sigh as he slouched slightly, if anyone could see his face they would see an annoyed expression. He then looked up noticing earth nation guards keeping close watch on him. "Looks like I have no room to move anywhere I go..." Xiao said lowly making his way into a nearby tea shop.

He looked around browsing as though he could actually see what he was doing. He picked up a bag of tea taking a sniff before he set it back down. He figured he might as well try to look normal. As he walked around the small shop he could over hear a conversation. Not that it took much for him to hear abything really. Since he became blind all of Xiaos other senses had increased drastically.

Finally Xiao walked up to the counter with a pouch of tea, "I'd like to buy this please..." He said lowly trying his hardest not to eavesdrop on nearby people and mind his own busyness. The clerk blinked looking at the pouch that sat before him, Sir... You want this?" The clerk said lowly looking at a bag of Erasui Tea, meant to be used as an aphrodesiac to seduce people, "Do I not want this?" Xiao asked curiously. The clerk adjusted his glasses before looking at Xiao once more, "If you plan on seduction... Here try this."

The clerk set a bag on the counter, "This is Chi Tea. It makes you feel good and replenishes lost energy." He explained. Xiao nodded with a smile, "Thank you sir. How much do I owe you?" The clerk stroked his chin, "Tell you what I like you. It's on the house this time." The surprises just kept hitting Xiao like a ton of bricks.

He bowed humbly before the clerk. "My sincerest aprreciations... A am much obliged thank you..." Xiao said lowly. The clerk shrugged and went back to wiping his counter. "No problem.. Enjoy your stay here traveller.."

Xiao wasn't used to this type of treatment having been raised in the fire nation. A place where it's either become strong... Or die. Xiao turned around ready to leave nearly running into another man and a woman. He bowed his head before them. "My apologies..." He said lowly walking past them making his way for the door to see if the earthen guards were still watching closely after him.

"This isn't a negotiation it's a suicide!!"

Xiao looked down at the girl bowing his slightly. "My sincerest apologies highness..." He said realizing that she was the Earth Kingdoms Princess. He looked out to the guard seeing that instead of the two leaving they were joined by two more.

"Damn it..." Xiao thought lowly to himself before looking back to the girl, "I assume there here following you?" He asked lowly as he put his purchase of tea into his coat pocket. Because his hood was always pulled up it was hard for anyone who knew him really to identify him most royal families and high powered people from any of the Nations were at least familiar with Xiao due to his negotiations for the fire lord.

Of course it wasn't long before the news that the fire nations most valued diplomat had gone heretic. You'd think it would be easier to find an ally of other nations considering his past. But other nations hate fire benders ever since they tried to destroy the world. Which was why Xiao refrained from his bending skills and only focused on his kung fu after leaving.

"This isn't a negotiation it's a suicide!!"

Xiao stepped back slightly, "Hmm? They weren't really bothering me... I must just be wary of those who believe the retain power of authority... At least until I can clear myself... But even then I probably still wouldn't show my face..." He explained lowly as he tried to regain his composure.

He shifted his weight to the side stroking his chin, "Tell me... Would you maybe hear me out highness? If you don't like what you hear I will leave this city peacefully and never return... Should I be allowed to leave... But if however our deal goes south and I am held captive... I will not restrain myself in my escape... And people will get hurt... I'm sorry that sounded threatening I didn't mean for that." Pao whispered so only she would hear ending with a nervous smile.

"I'm sure you feel a familiarity with me... That's because... I was a diplomat for the fire lord...", He continued to whisper shaking his head, "And I regret everything... Can we talk somewhere where there aren't as many ears?"

Xiao bowed his head slightly, "Ahh thank you!! You have no idea how much gratitude you will recieve for this." Xiao answered glancing over his shoulder at the guards then back to Emiko, "Forgive my manners... I am Xiao..."
