Melody She walked to it closely and smiled. "Don't worry, I won't harm you." She said as she got closer and closer. She then pet the flareon on the head. She closed her eyes and thought. 'So warm, just like the spring back home.' After a while she stopped. "Thanks for letting me pet your flareon, it got a nice fur."

Flareon closed her eyes in pleasure and rubbed her muzzle against the girl's palm. "Flare! Flareon!"
"Thanks, but it's all because of Flareon." He smiled faintly. "She loves to look neat and well groomed in her gym battles and contests. She hates a dirty pelt."

Melody "I see, so you into contest too. If you are then I can give you a brush and some poffins, and pokeblocks." She said as she was digging from her backpack.

"No, it's okay. I have my own poffins, but I never heard of Pokeblocks before. Oh, and as for the brush," He looked at Flareon licking her ears. "she likes to groom her own fur without me interfering."

Melody "Oh, they are the same as poffins." She said as she took the items back. She then sat down trying to occupied her mind with contest moves.

Tristen nodded in understanding. "Ah, I understand." Tristen patted Flareon on the head, before sitting down on a bench and feeding a few sweet poffins to Flareon.

Melody She was playing with her thumbs for a while to pass the time. Later out of curiosity she asked. "Just wondering, but do you do contest?"

Melody "Yeah, just got my second ribbon the other day, and won the Hoenn Grand Festival two years ago." She said scratching the back of her head and scratching it.

"Impressive." He nodded. "I have three ribbons, but I never won in the Grand Festivals. I'm trying for it this year though. My Pokemon are prepared for it better now."

Melody "Well the only reason why I won was of pure luck, because there is no way that I beat Drew in the finals, May in the semi-finals, and Dawn along with Zoey to reach the semis." While talking to Tristen Nurse Joy came and said that she had a phone call from Kanto. "I wonder who it is?" She went to the phone and saw Felix on the screen. Felix: Hello, Melody I wanna ask you something. It is about our plusle and minun? Melody: Yeah what about them?

Melody: Yeah what about them?Felix: Well I was wondering if something happened to your plusle. because my minun is acting weird. As if it is receiving pain.Melody: Pain, what happen to it? Also my plusle is in the pokemon center. That is because I over did it with the battle I had with five member of Team Galactic, and most of them poison my plusle so much that it was it is in a frail state. Why you ask?

Why you ask?Felix: Well while I was exiting the Vermilion City Gym, minun came out of its pokeball, and started to cry. I don't know what it is....Melody: Maybe they are synchronize in some way. You may think it is crazy, but remember the time when a raichu hurt your minun and my pusle felt weak. It still ran to your plusle aid, and took it down together.
