Flipping open her cell as she sat down to lunch at a cafe, Maeko noticed that she had a voice message from Reaghan. She ordered a drink and then checked the massage.

"Hey Mae, I have a huge favor to ask of you...I'm gonna be stuck late tonight and I need you get to the library and see if you can take out a copy of some horror films. I have an assignment for my creative writing class and need some inspiration. Try maybe getting Rosemary's Baby, The Omen or The Exorcist...I know it's really inconviniant for you, but it's cheaper at the library then at the movie store and you can take them out for longer...Gotta jet to Economics...Thanks Mae!"

Maeko nodded to herself and closed the phone, ordering and then eating her meal. After she had finished and paid, she headed to her car and drove to the nearest library. After checking through their films, she couldn't find any of the ones mentioned by Reaghan. She continued on to three other libraries and recieved the same results. As she was looking around the final one, one of the librarians walked up to her. "Having trouble finding what you needed? Have you tried that old library downtown? The one off Maverly...You might get lucky"

Maeko smiled and thanked her, knowing exactly where that library was located. She jumped into her car and headed there. Pulling up and parking, Maeko went inside and looked around for someone to assist her. "Hello?"

There was someone to assist the woman in the library.. Two in fact. They where just a little.. pre-occupied at the moment. Dracula was with one of his wives in the middle of the library, in clear sight if someone where they to walk in the front door and step into the opening where the reading tables where set up.

In his arms lifted up onto one of these said tables was Simona, and Dracula was currently busy biting and nibbling on her neck. When he heard the sound of someone calling out though he opened his eyes and peered towards the doorway.
"It seems as if we have a visitor, my bride." He said as he lifted his head and stood strait, turning his gaze back towards the woman. Leaving the welcome up to the blond in his arms.
"Just when it was getting to the good part, too," Simona's childish pout revealed one of her fangs, smaller than most vampires but still threatening.

Come to think of it, Simona looked like she had gotten change when she was only sixteen or so, and given that she was the youngest bride, of course her entire demeanor seemed rather youthful despite her actual old-age.

"So, what are -you- looking for? A nice vampire erotica, maybe?"

Maeko gave the girl an odd look and shook her head, "No, actually, I was wondering if you had horror section in your film section." She glanced around the library, then back at the girl. "My son asked me to look up and take-out a few films...If you were busy, you can just direct me to the section and i'll find them myself" She bit her lip, sensing that she had interrupted something, though she hadn't seen much.

Dracula smirked as he took a step back, resting his hands on the blond's legs.
"This entire library is a horror section, my dear. Perhaps you could tell me what films you where looking for, and I can help select one for you?" He said with a wink to his wife, in that 'this is gonna be good' sort of way. It seemed his library was getting alot of business lately.. Which meant more fun for him and his three brides. It could get so boring without some good old caos here and there.

"Oh...well, I didn't get a chance to write them down...but he mentioned The Exorcist..." She nodded and tried her best not to stare at the couple. "Does this library require cards? is there something I should maybe fill out while you go get the movie?"

"Oh, I know I have it around here somewhere..." mused Simona as she hopped off the desk, "Drakky~ do you want me to deal with the library card or get the movie?"

Dracula nodded his head and smirked, before he lifted Simona off the table and helped her stand.
"Excellent idea. You go get the kind woman's movie, and I shall get her registered.. Please miss, follow me to my desk." He said with a grin, before he started off towards the writing desk, and took a seat in the chair behind it.

"Once taking the film home with you we are no longer held responsible for any mishaps that may occure. These films are rented by many individuals. There is no specific return date, you are welcome to return at your own leasure. And the film will be on VHS. I am sad to say we lack any DVD's, due to this being my collection that I have aquired over the years." He said, sounded much like the fine print readers on medication advertisements. He then lifted out the filled out card from his desk and held it out to the woman, waiting for his wife to return with the film.

"If you have any troubles, do not be afraid to call the number on the back of the card. Just ask for Dracula."

"Oh...well, thank you...I'll remember that" She nodded and shrugged off the last statement he made. She bit her lip and stood there waiting, starting to become very uncomfortable in this place. Once he's done, Reaghan is bringing the movie back himself.

With an innocent smile, Simona crept back around one of the shelves of books and took one of the customer's hands. Her fingertips felt almost frosted they were so cold, and were numbing to the touch. The clammy VHS was almost a relief as the vampiress backed away to return to her husband's arms.

"Oh...thank you..." Maeko nodded to the two of them and then backed away. She turned and made her way out of the library quickly, though not quickly enough to appear scared out of her wits.

Dracula smirked as he wrapped his arms around the blond vampress in his lap, stroking her hair fondly.
"Have a nice daaay." He said almost mockingly as the woman fleed from the library. He then looked back up to the blond in his lap's eery blue eyes, and returned to whatever they might have been doing before their visitor came.

"Maeko...did you get to the library?" Reaghan came through the door and tossed his bag next to the stairs. Maeko rolled her eyes and grabbed a soda from the fridge, "Yes, I did...you severely owe me, boy...I'm never going back there." Reaghan laughed, "Why? Did the books attack you?" Maeko stuck her tongue out at him and handed him the video, "No...it was just...an unpleasent experience. Here, They gave me The Exorcist" She opened the can of soda, took a sip and then added, "Oh, I looked the movie up on that film site...did you know you have the same name as the lead character? It's spelled different, and she's a girl...But it's still neat."

Reaghan looked at the tape, then nodded to Maeko, "Hhmm, interesting, Thanks...I'm gonna grab some snacks and watch it...Wanna join me?" Maeko shook her head, "Umm...That would be a big 'no'...sorry, not a horror fan." She shrugged apologetically and went upstairs to check on Tommy and Noelle as they napped.

Rea finished up his assignment for economics class, checked his e-mail and then grabbed some snacks from the kitchen. He set the stuff out on his bed and then put in the film. After pressing play, He settled down onto his bed and grabbed his notebook and pen. He flinched and winced a bit at certain scenes, but for the most part he remained calm and collected enough to take notes. As he had hoped, watching a horror flick gave him wonderful ideas for the story he was assigned to write. After the film was finished, he left it in the VCR and brought the remaining snacks back to the kitchen, then took a quick shower and slipped into bed. "Maeko should totally watch it, she's always so entertaining when she's scared", He chuckled and relaxed back into the pillows, reaching over to shut off his light and falling asleep.

"La la la.. la la la.. la la la la- la la la.." The eerie echo of an infants singing echoed throughout the room as the sun rose in the windows of Rea's room, causing a loud hiss. The video tape in the VCR had vanished in the middle of the night, and in it's stead was something.. rather familiar to anyone who had watched the tape before it's uneventful disappearance.

A young infant female, that appeared no older than 8-16 months clung to the upper right corner of the room. Although it looked like she was naturally just laying there. She seemed displeased with the sun shining into the room, and let out a howl that seemed only meant for 8 foot tall demons.. If by now she had no one's attention, she never would.

She looked down at Rae with bloodshot eyes, still singing her haunting chant, before her head slowly started to turn to the side..
"La la la.. la la la.. la la la- la la la.." and it didn't stop turning.. Not until it had fully rotated back to it's original position, eyes wide with a calculating grin..

..Holy s**t..
