The king handed the courier a letter who proceded to walk towards Red with fear. Upon reaching he handed her the letter. Sealed with wax and the royal standard. The hooded one sat down next to Red and waited. (put what ever you want in the letter)

He grinned following her with a light skip. He turned back for a second to stick his tounge out at the accuser. Whirling around and dashing after her. It was obvious he carried alot of currency on him. It jingled as he skipped or ran. Occasionaly he would stop to look at somthing. A bug. A horse. To watch a bird or to try to catch a butterfly. But he always managed to catch back up. Was he oblivious? Stupid? Or was that all a ruse?

He pointed at himself standing up on the chair "Alar!" He smiled then placed gold on the table for the meal. He plops back down in the chair and twiddles his thumbs looking away innocently. It was strange, even so close his face was still hidden in darkness. All but his eyes and teeth. He looked over at the wealthy men at the other table then back at her. He smiled again. Showing that toothy grin. Even his eyes seemed to smile. How could any creature be so happy in these times?

He looked at her. "Scarlet Tedin. Yes, we know you. We know everyone." He squeeked. He played with the coins. He was always smiling. The other gentlemen that would be joining them had arrived. He watched them with big eyes. Still smiling.

Name: Kumori Race/species: Dark elf Blood type: A Height: 4 ft. 1 in. Weight: 76 lbs Abilites: She has the ability to see things happening far away. Also, she if she touches someone she can see something of that person's past, depending on how much resistance that person holds up. Description/about you: Although Kumori is only nine years old, she acts nothing like a normal nine year old. She speaks rarely and when she does it is very softly. Despite her ability, she can be rather oblivious and often misunderstands things happening around her. Many think it is due to her general disinterest in people. She loves to read and often reads very complicated books that even those older than her don't understand. She has little/no memory of her life before one year ago, and has been on her own since then. She has become a talented pickpocket, and uses her ability to help herself survive on the streets. Appearance: Pale blue skin, long, silvery hair that is very tangled and messy, eyes that are deep violet, and, of course, pointed, elfin ears. She wears mostly gothic-looking dress-up clothes that she finds in old charity bins. She almost always carries a patched up black cat plushie.

Kumori ignores people as they pass on the streets, giving her the occasional glare or scowl. Most, however, avert their eyes, not wanting to even acknowledge the existence of the filthy little elf child. Or maybe they were just unnerved by her emotionless violet eyes. Kumori doesn't notice the dirty looks she receives as she is instead focusing on something else; right now she can not see the people on the streets or the dirty taverns or the overpriced stalls. She is currently watching a little girl in her room, with her mother and father. It is the little girl's birthday. She is opening presents and frowning when they're not what she wants. But she thanks her parents anyway and plays with the new toys to please them. Kumori hugs her stufffed cat tightly. She is jealous of the little girl.

The hooded one had long ago snuck off when Red was no longer looking or perhaps she was staring right at him and he simply dissapeared. It didnt matter. He happily skipped down the street his eyes and smile shining from beneath his hood. The short figure could have easily been mistaken for a child, if not for the stranges limbs that somtimes protruded from the brown sleeves or from beneath hem of the long robe. Small clawed hands and feet. Avian in nature. As he skips by the elf girl roughly his height he stops and skips backwards to watch her. He saw her jealousy and perhaps somthing else. He walks up to the door and gently knocks. The man, perhaps the father, gets up and answers it. His shock and disgust is apparent. Until ofcourse the small hooded figure retreives a gold purse from within his robes. The small one whispers somthing to the man, who grins and nods. He could be seen returning to the room giving the girl whos' birthday is currently being celebrated the gold purse in return for a small toy. She seems much happier with the gold anyways. He returns with the toy and hands it to the small figure who in turn looks to Kumori the ever present smile plastered to the dark interior of the hood. The smile and those eyes.

Kumori meanwhile, has seen the hooded one. 'Alar' she mouths, but does not speak. She watches the exchange, not quite understanding. Did he want to play with the toy? How strange. She hugs her own cat to her chest. Her 'sight' leaves the father and Alar and returns to the little girl, still in her room with her mother. The little girl is catching sunlight with the gold coins and making 'stars' on her walls and floor, while the mother watches. Kumori might have smiled, but her face remains as emotionless as ever.

The small figure's smile fades for the first time. He was deep in thought. He sat on the steps to the human's house resting his head on his hand, a strange sight accounting that his hand was rarily visable. Snapping his fingers he gets up running across the street stopping to see if Kumori was watching. He beckons her with a wave. His smile once more was present. "We get you fun, go to um....whats is it called..the center town!"
