 Amber finished her soup, and threw the can away. She went outside and watched Shikon for a few moments, before walking away from him and finding herself a small tree to sit under. She eventually laid down and watched the clouds.
The ground was cold, but not for long. Amber concentrated on her back, and fiery feathers popped out and burnt the ground a little bit, obviously warming it up. She sighed happily as she placed her hands behind her head and watched the sky.

Shikon roamed in the pool for a little while and finally emerged with wet fur. Shaking off the water and flicking his tiny ears, he caught sight of Amber lieing on the grass. Shikon tilted his head sideways as if to be staring for an unknown reason.
Finished with his work and done for the day, Vergil found his way into the kitchen and opened a beer from the fridge. He took a swig and looked into the backyard to see Amber resting under a secluded tree, and Shikon watching her for no reason. The wet drops coming from his ears signified he was in the pool for at least a good twenty minutes.

Amber had a bad feeling that people or animals were looking at her. She Tilted her head up to see Shikon watching her. She had a sweat drop run down the back of her head before she rested her head back down on the grass to watch the clouds. She tilted her head over to Vergil to see that he was also watching her. She blushed as she turned away quickly to look at the sky once more.

Ridge Watched her roll back and continue to watch the sky with a slight blush. He smiled and walked away from the window, going to find something to eat, after a loud grumble from his stomach.
Shikon kept watching Amber even after she sweat dropped down the back of her head. He tilted his head some more and then fell to his side on the lush grass, still intently watching her not move. Why it fascinated him, no one had a clue.

A slight breeze rolled by, causing Amber's hair to cover her face. She sighed but didn't bother to move it away. Instead, she just closed her eyes and almost began to snooze off, trying to ignore the fact that Shikon was watching her. She had to get use to that dog, and get over her fears of k-9s, but the chances of that were unlikely.

Shikon finally got bored and fell asleep as the wind passed by.
Ridge was inside cooking himself some pancakes and looked outside. His giant chefs hat was hard to miss, just as hard to miss was the white apron reading, "Sucking up WILL NOT get you another waffle." He put a hand back and grabbed the pan, flipping the pancake successfully. "Ha! Take that you ihop bitches!" He shouted with victory in his tone.

Amber could hear her master inside. She laughed softly to herself, before she sat up and walked inside, since the smell of pancakes caught her attention. She sat at the island, watching him silently. She tilted her head to the side for a moment before tilting it down to the table. She wasn't use to starting conversations since she was taught to speak when spoken too, or else she'd get punished for speaking out of turn.

Ridge didn't even look but he somehow knew Amber was in the room. "There's blueberry, plain, and chocolate. I'm out of bananas or plain wouldn't be on the menu." He said joking to her. He'd already had about 8 pancakes made. He could usually put away five on a good day. but he would be respectful and let Amber have the first pick. "What kind would you like?"

Amber tapped her chin, thinking about the choices, "I think I'll have the blueberry." She smiled, as she bowed her head to him in her way of saying 'thank you'. She looked outside, to Shikon. "So.. Can.. He be a human? I noticed he can become a dragon or a larger mu-.. Dog. Sorry if I asked this question before, I am horrible at remembering things." She blushed before looking back to her master, tilting her head to the side.

Ridge put two blueberry pancakes on a plate and set it down infront of Amber, with a knife and fork included. He'd already had butter and syrup out just incase. "Nope, just a dragon." He replied curtly, setting a plate of chocolate pancakes down on the table for himself and sitting, cutting off a small piece and noming it. "The larger form of his dog exterior is my fault. We, wow that's good, we uhm, were experimenting on how he could transform like that and he got a dose of an untested growth serum. And, well, you've seen the effects of his larger wolf form. Enhanced strength, large claws, steel teeth, the works." He commented non-chalantly, sticking another piece of pancake in his mouth and flicking a loose chocolate chip into his mouth.

Amber smiled at the sweet smell of pancakes and cooked blueberries as he placed the dish infront of her. She grabbed the bottle of syrup, held it over her pancakes, while using on hand to heat up the syrup as it fell over the cakes. She bit into the hot fluffyness, and sighed softly. It tasted really good.
She nodded as he told her the story of Shikon. She was curious as to why he would test things on him, but she left the question in her head, too embarrassed to actually ask him anymore questions.

"Say... " Ridge started, but stuffed one last tiny bite into his mouth. Letting it sit and be consumed, "Why don't we head off to Azrael's place after this?" Ridge forked another chocolate pancake onto his plate and left it there for a second, keeping the fork standing in it, "There's really nothing to do here anyway."

Amber tilted her head to the side, "Azrael? Who is he?" She asked softly before cutting into the pancakes and getting herself a decent sized piece and munching on it. "And I'm fine with going anywhere." She cut up another pieces and chewed it down. "And yes, it is kinda boring.. And I don't want to risk flying if it won't allow me to change back to my human form."

Ridge finished his pancakes and set his plate in the dishwasher and closed the lid. "I'm pretty sure the little ball o' fun out there won't burn down the house. I'll get the car ready." Ridge said, opening the door to the garage, flicking a switch to open the garage door. He went through thr floor switch and picked out the green car he'd driven before. But he would be respectful and wait until Amber had finished her pancakes. After all Ridge made good flapjacks, it would not be uncommon if she took a couple more, or at least one more.

Amber quickly finished her pancakes minutes after he finished his. She rushed over to him out in the garage and slid into the passenger seat. "So.. What are we going to do with your friend?" She waited for him to start up the car and head on out. Her mind was filled with what she was about to do.
