I took it not believing Tomoyo. I read it. I was shocked. "I'd be in MORE danger if you weren't here! I wouldn't know how to survive!!!"

I nodded. "We'll have to. And there's a chance we won't go back." I looked at the pack. "You need to split up. This vicinity is most likely surrounded by hunters. Lay low and spread out." I looked at Naomi. "I'll go outside and check for hunters."

Naomi nodded. Everybody was assigned a partner. Naomi and San, Tomoyo and Kurogane, Nii and Mizu, and ect. Everybody waited for the all-clear from Tomoyo.
A few hunters were waiting right outside the cave.

I was about to walk out of the cave, but I paused. I sniffed, trying to identify the scent. "I think there's someone out there." I whispered.
