  Vanessa gave a questioning look at the girl, then looked down at her book as it opened. "Nothing of consequence?" She looked in her book and realized who it was she was talking too. " To think I'd actually get the pleasure of meeting the one of those people's ancestors who burned down my village." Vanessa looked up and her fingers brimmed with magic sparks. ((ooc: sorry, Just wanted to spark up the story. ))

The vampire leaned her head back lazily against the cool brick wall. "Calm down little witch. I am not responsible for their actions. And therefore it is unjust to punish me. Revenge never serves the conscious well." She said, her tone relaxed. "But I am sorry to hear that."

Vanessa gave a small twitch at the word witch. "Much obliged, but it's an amazement my book can tell who you are and not attack. I'm not one for revenge but my book can cause a short temper in me" Vanessa said, putting her book back in her bag. Vanessa then looked to the ground to see that the other figure has remained quiet this whole time.

"Sorry, but did you just imply that your book controls you? How odd. I thought spellcasters had much more control than that." Chaos said, almost laughing. One of the great joys in her life was provoking people just for the fun of it. It never got old for her. And the look on the girl's face was just priceless.

 Kai looked up at the two and sighed. I see...one is a vampire and the other a witch...where do I fit in with these people? He thought to himself before he stood up. "Hi...So I can tell you're a vampire and you're a witch..." He said before he tied the katana to his back, making sure it was tight on there.

Vanessa sighed and then a thought came a cross her mind. "Um why are you guys in an alley anyways?" She asked, just realizing their current location. It was quite dirty and there was some sort of scent of....rotting flesh? Vanessa looked behind Chaos and noticed the body on the floor behind her.

Chaos stepped between Vanessa and the body in one fluid movement, blocking her view. "I had something I had to take care of. And he..." She looked over at Kai, curiously. "Well he just sort of ended up here."

Kai looked up at the two of them and sighed. "I'm only here for a place to sleep. Unlike you two, I have no home...no family...be thankful you knew yours." He told them before he sat down against the wall, trying so hard not to cause himself pain. He closed his eyes as he hung his head, hoping to get the images that ran through his mind out of it.

Kai looked up at her, slightly unamused by what she said as he shrugged. "At least you did have a family...I sleep wherever I can sleep...whether it be somewhere dangerous or not..." He told her as he looked back at the body. He knew she had fed and was wondering when she needed to feed again. "I still wonder if anyone cared for me at all...I've never seen what my family looks like...nor do I know their names..."

 Lulu sighs gently, her eyes opening to the world once more, transfering from dreams and wishes to reality. Reality was much harsher, but she would live, especially with her friend Fang by her side. He was so nice to her and caring and she liked him a lot. Speaking of, where was Fang anyways? Usually he slept by her side, but he wasn't there. She simply sighs once again, he would return, always did.
