The shard reacted to all this new commotion by hopping up into the air a few times, much like a jumping bean or a fish out of water. It scared the surprised jay into taking a few steps away from it, enough to give the toddler being expelled room as the shard grew and stretched. It's colors vibrated with life, until sitting on the stand was a little boy, looking as though his weight was just about to topple himself, the bird, and the entire stand over.

Craaaaack

A line appeared in the base of the stand as it struggled to support the sudden change of weight. Deciding it was not quite safe the green jay soared into the air above the strange boy. It's strange kin had finally appeared and was rather shocking. No feathers only gleaming white bone and eyes that glowed blue, this was not what it had been expecting . At the same time as the bird flew off, the boy slid down off the stand relieving it of the tremendous pressure it had been under and allowing it to remain upright if severely damaged. He stared up at the green jay and issued a chirrup at him. Mimicking the boy the Jay swooped down and settled on one of the branches of bone. He was an odd thing to be sure this sparrow boy and would require extended investigation before any judgement was passed.

"Hey mom what do you think of these" Riycan walked about his mother carefuly. If there was one thing he hated about shoe shopping it was the stupid elastics that kept you from walking like a proper person, though having wings helped him keep his balance. Still these were L.A light gears and they glowed when he walked, even better the glowed green as opposed to the normal red. Ricyan watched as his mother raised her an eyebrow and sighed. "Pleaaase I really like them." he pleaded.

"Promise not to wear them in the house at night" The agreement held a tone that stated no concessions would be made on this point.

"I promise" he replied slightly annoyed that one of his reasons for wanting them had been taken away he nodded still pleased that he could have them. He'd pretty much decided that on this shopping trip he wanted these shoes a few t-shirts with funny sayings and some new shorts. Everyone in the house had particular clothing style they wore except for him and he liked it that way.

He also needed to pick up a pair of gardening gloves, his mother had decided that since he'd recently show interest in plants he'd be allowed to turn a part of the backyard into a garden.Riycan did enjoy being around plants although he always ended up looking at something posionous and admiring it's beauty like belladona. Sadly he would only be able to plant things that were safe for consumption due to the fact that the other children would be allowed in the gardens and his mother didn't want them ingesting anything poisonous.

Taking the shoes off and placing them in a box he ginned at his mother, all in all this would be a profitable shopping trip for him even if he'd had to compromise to get some of the things he wanted.

Dear new diary Ha mom bought me this awesome pen to go with your awsome multicolour cover. I liked the other you a lot but I think you're going to be even cooler. I mean you're just a journal and all but still you look way better than my other journal.

Anyways tommorow is my first day back at school and so I'll probably be writing in you again soon. Bye for now.
