When you go for 4 days and 3 nights without sleep kidding yourself that you'll sleep after you "just finish this part."
When you know the storyline, gameplay and characters for nearly every game on the market.
When you hate EA.

You know you are a gamer when:
You're favorite controller feels like a best friend.
You have a ridiculous amount of hours on your favorite non ending game. (EX: Pokemon, Disgaea, Tales of Symphonia)
Your most exciting nights are the ones where you get to go pick up the next big pre-order.
You get mad at RPG's that don't let the main character jump while running around the map.
When talking to people you start to imagine pre-written lines to choose from.

(This is a specific for me)
When your girlfriend calls and you're in the middle of a game on Xbox LIVE, she gets mad because you aren't concentrating on the conversation, hangs up, and you don't wanna take your hand off of the controller so you drop the phone on the floor and call her back when the game is over.
I know, it's very long.
