Cross yelped as he was kicked. No,no. This pris'nor's done with 'is be'aing. No sense in torturin' 'im long'a The skeletal guards went back through the door which shut behind them. Cross crawled away slowly to a corner and turned over.
The stranger walked toward the large structure. At the base of it,was a large,blue crystal which Ginji can easily identify as the artfact. The stranger brought forth the crystal into his hands from afar before turning to Ginji. This is the Tear of Catal. Stored within it is immense power from the likes have never been seen. My broters and I plan to use this to power this structure. However,we cannot use it unless it's tainted with dark energy,which is where you come in. Take the Tear of Catal and make it so. My brothers will take you to a chamber for you to work. Should you not follow your end of the deal...well...you know... 8 hooded men appeared behind Ginji,ready to escort him.

Ginji glanced at the artifact, clearly surprised. "Hmmm...quite simple looking, for something so powerfull...It might take a while for my powers to have any effect on something like this. I can do it, it just might take some time. After all, I don't want to alter what ot does, or damage it."
Ginji refrained from looking at Cross as he thought-spoke to him. Ok...so now what do I do?

Cross caught his breath. Whatever's going on over there,just listen to em. Don't think it's time to fight back...
The 8 hooded figures led Ginji to the elevator across from the other one.

Ginji sighed and nodded towards the figures. "Ok. Off we go then."
His thoughts once again turned to Cross. Don't do anything stupid while i'm not around to save you...

Cross shrugged off the pain and looked around from his corner. "Hey! Does anyone have any food?" A captive looked to him. "3 more minutes til next feeding time." "Alright,thanks."

Ginji and the guards ascended to the highest floor of the fortress. In front of them was a large circle,seemingly used for sacred rituals.
Cross ignored the comment from the woman. He laid down and looked up to the sky. Oh man,how am I gonna get out of here?

Sillia got up and walked over taking a seat next to cross "So what you 'ere for anyway?" she asked. This ought to waste some time or at least the little bugger will talk me to death. He seems to be a chatty one. Thought Sillia.

Cross looked over to the random stranger who sat next to him. "The norm:trespassing while looking for a sacred artifact. It seems to me its in these guys' possession. You?"

Sillia sighed then leaned close to whisper "I got in here of my own free will. Something is going to happen here soon and I plan on being around for it. But dont tell the guards that or they'll start questioning me." she winked with a smile not much longer and this one must be involved Sillia thought. "Oh and I'm Sillia nice to meet you." She grinned trying to show she was on the same side.

Cross smiled and whispered "Seems like fate has brought us here together. So know any others here that are gonna be helping with the assault? And do you know anything about the artifact?" Just then,plates with food on them flew out of no where. Immediately,Cross froze time. No one,but Sillia paying attention. He grabbed his plate which was just an inch away from his face. Time unfroze.

Sillia blinked amazed "nice catch" she said flatly. "As for your questions no I do not know of anyone else around but there may be some no point in taking risks and guessing you were obvious as for the others around here not so much." Sillia took a breath then continued "Now as for the artifact its self I honestly dont know much it has great power and what not that could be used however the holder wishes it to be but thats about it. Of coarse the holder would have to have some natural power already which most do in these parts. As for me helping out I am just looking for some adventure I could leave any time if I wanted to." Sillia winked and nodded at her etches in the floor.

The female gaurd walked up and took Cross's food from him and droped it on the floor where rats came up and ate it. "Don't worry it happened to everyone on there first night. Hey, night time. Sleep and i wont take one of you to the basement."
