Someone needs to remind Talencia and Syrius Lionwing that they are considered *active* purkles. I see they log into Gaia regualarly, but neither has posted on the couch in quite a while ... ninja
*runs to find purkle floss to tie them to the couch with*

The two of them have been busy with their pets. I think with the numbers they have, our dust bunnies would be overwhelmed! I used to see them, but not as much these days.

Talencia actually offered me one once for taking care of her son's cat while their house was built, and that is the last I heard of that. Since I know nothing about the whole siggy pet thing, I imagine it is just as well rofl

It's really more role-play here on Gaia. I own quite a few myself. In fact I need to read what Sunny has to say in the sigmap thread. You'll all get to see my cute babies again. OMG!!! Did I actually say cute!?!!

WickedBlueberry It's really more role-play here on Gaia. now I am totally lost, as I have never been sure what people are describing as role playing, RPing, what not. I guess I am too old for some *new fangled* terms and concepts, and that is one that totally goes over my head crying

Ok, I'll try my best here to help you see what it is...
With the pets, you "role play" (act/talk) as if they are actual real creatures that are with you. Or sometimes you are the pet yourself, and you are speaking for the creature.
For example, I own several pets. Here is one of my aiko:  If I were in the thread I could say something like:
As neonibbles entered the room, Skie followed closely behind. She was a little frightened by all the strange purkles in the room. She had never met so many at one time. But with a little comforting from neon, she quickly settled right in.
This would be Skie's first time to visit the couch...

I guess you could see it that way. It depends on the shop owners or those role playing. Many of them prefer to have the pets as companions rather than being the pets...
