I agree that Lost Planet 2 does look promising. The first one, however, I wasn't really a fan of and I didn't even finish it. I guess I just got tired to all the snow maybe?
Anyways, this is a game that I would most certainly want to play with a friend.

You know WHY they dont have alot of drils? Lost Plabet is in CAPCOM's own words, STEAMPUNKED based in its character and mech design, and lost planet 2 will liely have more drills, because tehre are alot of subterranean baddies...

I'm glad to see this thread a little more active. Unfortunately, I can't post any new gaming news until I go home this Tuesday. This computer here runs on a single server. All of them do. And the gaming websites are blocked.
In other news, I'm building my very own PSP Go. It only costs about $30 that way. Not sure if I've mentioned that before. Right now though, since the PSP has been out, there's only been about 4 games on it that I want.
Dissidia: Final Fantasy
Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops.
God of War: Chains Of Olympus
Crisis Core FF VII.
And two more on the way.
Kingdom Hearts: Birth by sleep
Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker.
Any other suggestions would be much appreciated.

I haven't posted in here a while so here's some more news.
Looks like Ubisoft is planning a new Ghost Recon game. I liked Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter, but it was never a game I could finish for some reason. I never played the second one with exception to the demo...

Appearantly EA wants Dead Space 2 to be more action oriented. Like on the Modern Warfare 2 level... Which wouldn't be a bad thing for people like me who haven't played the first one. However, the first game was supposedly pretty scary and EA says that the second game will focus less on horror and more on action. Hmmm... Kind of like Resident Evil 4 and 5. I'm pretty sure the fans of the original won't be happy about this.

L.A. Noire game is officially going multiplatform. Don't really care at the moment as I haven't really heard anything about this game, but for those that wanted it on the Xbox 360, looks like your wish came true.

Holy Crap! I never thought I'd see this happen. I had dreams of this happening, but... I just never thought it would. Sonic the hedgehog 4 is coming to XBLA. It's going to be a 2.5d sidescroller. Appearantly it'll also be episodic.

Looks like Fable 3 is nearing it's completion. Good, but don't release it with a bunch of bugs like with Fable 2 Mr. Peter Molyneux. I loved the game, but game crashing bugs are a no no. Also, it sucks that I got my copy of Fable 2 stolen from me...

LiamTine Anyone know when golden sun ds is coming out? The release is set for 2010. So this year! However, there hasn't been a concrete date set this year. You'll probably be able to get your hands on it around the holiday season. Perhaps in November?
