Lucca looks up at the door. "On edge? You said you were expecting to meet someone here, that them?" she now looks at Chris, curiously.

"Unfortunately, no." Chris moves his hand over the hard surface of the table. "I'll be back." he turns and smiles at her. "Now, don't go anywhere." he knocks once on the table before turning no his heels and heading out the door. Once outside, he stares off into the darkness down the street. Most wouldn't see them but he can see three horses with riders in black. The scent of blood wafts over him and he frowns. "Nasty little hunters..."

She watches him leave and sits back in her chair, fingers wrapped around the warm cup of tea.
She can hear the riders and as they draw closer, her curiosity gets the better of her. Putting a few coins down for both her drink and his, she heads outside to stand next to Chris.
"Hunters?" she asks curiously. "May I join you?"

Chris nods but does not turn to her. "Sure, sure. The faster they are gone the sooner I can get to having some fun." He smiles and then pauses. "Would they perhaps be after you?" he inquires, knowing they are not for him.

Lucca shakes her head, playing idly with her top hat.
"I do not thing the would be for me." she smiles suddenly. "Oh I am excited. I wonder what they are here for. Let us step aside and see."

Lucca turns to the sound of Rai's voice and a smile spreads across her lips.
"Oh, Rai. It has truly been a very long time." she looks forward, towards the darkness of the forest. "We are waiting for an arrival."
Lucca pauses and then smiles. "Oh, forgive me. Rai, this is Chris. I met his just tonight."

"Well i geuss that we all had to do our own thing. I am looking for a place to stay at and try to find something of intrest to do." Rai says as his eyes flash a red gleam. He finaliy turns to address the new one of his old friends. "Hello Chris is it? I am pleased to meet you." Rai says with a evil gleam in his eyes.

"This is a quiet little town." Lucca seems to mutter to herself. "I can't say I was looking for something interesting..." she trails off a little.
"I have picked up a few new tricks, however. It seems an easy way to pass the time. I shall have to show you." Lucca beams

"I am sure that would be loverly. I will need a floor to myself just like last time... oh and who is it that we are waiting on?" Rai says as he turns to look in the direction that lucca is looking. His hand comes to rest on the hilt of his sword and his face lights up once he remembers something. "At least my brother wont be here... will he? Oh and have i shown you my blade yet? I found a Kaos blade, One that choose me as its rightful owner." Rai says as he pulls out a blade that is made of black and white metal with shades of red fire and blue ice.

Lucca nods turns her attention back to Rai and his new sword. "Oh, that is fantastic!" she smiles, peering at it carefully.
"Apparently hunters at heading this way. Strong one I take it since little Chris here became on edge when he heard them approach."

Chris nods his greeting to the newcomer and listens with strange interest at their conversation. When the conversation turns to the on-coming hunters, he turns his brown eyes back to the dark forest where a single light dances along the approaching rode. The Hunters. "I wouldn't say I was on edge." her rolls his eyes at the accusation that he was afraid. The sound of several heavy-hooved horses draws closer and in the shadows and the dim light of the single flame they carry, one can easily tell they are well equipped. The horses however are massive in appearance even at their some 800ft distance from the on coming travelers. The one in front seems to wear a very large coat with fur about the neck making him look even more massive on the horse. "Hmm, mountain hunters." Chris pushes his brown hair from his eyes. "Wonder what they are doin' way the hell down here."

"This should be fun..." Rai says as he looks on towards the hunters. "Do i have to play nice Lucca?" Rai asks with a innocent voice and look on his face. His body starts to solidify and becomes more human looking so that no one can tell what he really is. Rai turns and looks a some of the shadows around him and out crawls one of his little minions. ( they look like the basic heartless from the kingdom hearts games) "And if the young and little one here is so scared as you put it lucca why are we waiting he in the openish area?" Rai has lowered his sword to his side but has not put it away.

Lucca tilts her head thoughtfully. "You know, I don't really know." she turns her eyes to Chris. "Perhaps he just like the thought of a challenge. Open area, no where to hide." She shrugs.
"Oh, you don't have to play nice Rai. But let us see how Chris here fairs." she smiles.
"What do you mean mountain hunters? Is there some difference between them and other hunters?" she inquires now of Chris.

Rai nods his head at Lucca and then turns to look at his minion. "You heard the lady dont get involved." The creature fades into nothingness after nodding at Rais words.
