Vines with thorns littering along them shot up from the ground creating a barrier of sorts. He'd gone for Hart without stating his business. Bad move. Pushing herself up from where she was laying she now stood and could easily see the stranger. "State your business." Her tone was cold and authoritative. Her eyes never left his form. She was studying him.

Blocking him from Hart was never a good thing, but he didn't growl out his disapproval, he flicked his tail a bit.
If she hadn't seen the sense to come and greet him at the boarders than why should she be the first he greeted? He thought, his gaze even with hers, his ears flicked back slightly.
"To join the pride Hart and Mistress Akane call home.." He replied, his voice was deeper than most expected, cruelity dripped from it. He didn't give insant respect to anyone, it had to be earned in his eyes, and even though she was Queen, she hadn't given him any reason to respect her, he wasn't being disrespectful, or well not trying to be.

"Interesting...tell me, what is your name?" This lion knew her sister and niece...promising. After all her sister would never associate with those of low worth. He didn't look to bad either. He looked like a killer and the pride could always use more of those. She looked to her son and nodded her head.
Tierra nodded head to his mother before getting up to his maws and making his way to his aunt. When he reached her he bowed. "Aunt Akane, mother wishes to see you. There is a male outside her wall of vines claiming to know you."

"Lorne.." He replied, his eyes darted to the other male as he moved, but quickly shot back to Discord. The spines that danced up his tail, made their way all the way up his back, stopping at the nap of his neck hidden behind his mane, as he tail swayed, the spines clinked and shifted with the movement.
He didn't like the fact, that she was questioning his word.
Akane eyed her nephew for a moment, it wasn't out of distaste, more so of the idea of moving from a comfortable position. "Alright.." She said, as she rose to her paws, this better be damn good, she thought. Pregnancy never made her the nicest of lionesses, but as she neared her sister, her eyes fell on a most familiar face. "Lorne..You found us hmm?" she said with a faint smirk on her features, she nuzzled her sister's shoulder in greeting. "The brat belongs to me.." She said flicking her gaze at him once more. "Though, if you think of baring his cubs..watch out..hes got fangs." She teased with an arched brow, and wouldn't be a complete disappointment she thought to herself.

"A brat with fangs? What a turn on." She joked with her sister, giving her an affectionate nuzzle before looking to her vines. How she loved her babies. Always loyal and always with her. "You may return to your slumber my darlings." She hadn't summoned them and for them to act on their own was a first. She had always had a link to the plants like her mother did but when she came to call these lands up it seemed that link had grown even stronger. They shot up to protect her and her family. So with her command, the returned beneath the earth.
"Nothing personal Lorne, but there have been many to claim they know my sister. Welcome to our humble abode. So tell me, how did you come to meet the beauty next to me?"

Sera was a bit uneasy with her Mother nearby, and knowing her mood knew it was best to keep a low profile...even moreso while she seemed pregnant as well. However, she was just guessing and knew mere mention of Gaara would be enough to make Akane spark up in flames even without the added influence. However, the swell of her belly was enough to make her wonder if she was right...oh well, truth would be revealed in time, she supposed.
She'd just been about to ask her Aunt's advice about what to do in the meantime, but the appearance of Lorne drove it out of her mind. Instead, she moved off a little bit and lay down, growling slightly and wincing as one of the cubs kicked particularly hard. She'd wait her turn when it came again.
Paola curled up near her Mistress, eye's glued on the newcomer. Honestly, she wasn't sure what to think of him, except of the need to ensure Sera wasn't hurt, especially since she was so near to giving birth... she had a feeling he would bear watching.

"Oh but.." Her words fell silent, she was going to make a comment about her sisters current mate and Gaara but decided not to, she was tired. She lowered herself at her sisters paws, resting her head atop her paws, her eyes closed for a moment, breathing came softly. She didn't have great power with plant life, she could hold a vine for a bit of time, but it wasn't anything compaired to her flame ablitiy, she was impressed by her sister's work.
Lorne eyed the vines as they disappeared, his gaze looked to Akane with a bit of concern before he looked back to Discord, "Than I wont take it personally.." He sat down beside Hart, who decided to gnaw on his tail spikes playfully.
"I've been friends with her daughter for a while now, though once upon a time. I decided to take on a preybeast, and its family decided to take revenge, Akane spent many moons and suns making me healthy again. I am forever in her debt, and Hart is my dearest friend.." He grinned charmingly at said friend who only stuck her tongue out at him.

Discord eyed her sister for a moment. Usually Akane readily spoke her mind but this time she didn't continue. Something was off and she didn't like it one bit. But what could she do? She couldn't force her sister to tell her what was up. Akane did as she pleased, always has. Couldn't help but envy her...Akane was doing far better than she was. Had a ruthless mate where she had one that was compassionate. He had so much potential to be so bad when younger...where the hell had it gone? Enough of that, she'd brood about it later.
Her eyes returned to Lorne. "I see, well if you wish to be by their sides then so be it. However, you will have to pull your weight around here. Keris could use a brute like you. You will be a warrior for this harem and possibly more at a later time." Discord lay down next to her sister, subconsciously spreading her wing over her. Brought back memories of when they were younger, how their mother would curl up around the three if them and in turn they would curl tighter around each other, their little wings serving as a little sheild of sorts. Those were the days...
Belladonna stood at the borders of her daughters lands and simply waited. Her daughter didn't know she had come, in fact she was a bit nervous in going. She hadn't seen her eldest babies in so long. It wasn't like she didn't want to see them because honestly she did. She just had her paws full with her past two litters. She was afraid they'd be angry with her...but that didn't matter. They were still her babies, angry or not. Holding her head up high she let out a roar and waited for an answer.

"I have no problem with that.." He bowed his head to Discord, before he flopped over onto Hart, she was the only one he was ever playful with, he flicked an ear at the roar, lifting his head slightly, looking in the direction it came from, he glanced to the Queen and Akane with an arched brow. "But what of this other task I may perform?"
At the touch of her sisters wing, Akane let out a growling purr, but when the roar rang out, her head lifted instantly, "Mum.." She said with a smile, looking to her sister. "Can I go fetch her?" she asked with a grin as she rose to her paws slowly, carefully.
Akane was much like her ability, almost reckless in an intense dangerous sort of way. She wasn't as stable as her sister, and didn't have the urge to spread her seed like her father or sister seemed to, but it had seemed to take in her daughter, Akane shot Sera a glance before she looked away.
She wasn't sure she could forgive her daughter for doing such an act, she loved her children, all of them but she was still furious for such a thing. And where was Keris!? She thought with a snort, a flame sprouted at her tail before dying away.

"You'll find out in due time, for now you can relax." She smirked then turned to Akane. "But of course, if it's not going to put a strain on you. You seem a bit off. Would you like me to send Tierra with you?"

Lorne only arched a brow, before he flopped back onto Hart, a simple shrug of his shoulders.
Akane nudged her sisters shoulder, "There are not many things in this land that strain me.." She looked to her nephew, and nodded. "That'd be alright, as long as he can keep up." She flicked her wings a bit, but didnt actually make a move to take flight.
Padding away, she looked over her shoulder at him. "Coming?" she said before turning away.

Tierra nodded and quickly followed after her. He too sensed something about his aunt, something coming from within? Shaking his head, he pushed that aside and decided to address more important matters. Sure it would probably flare her temper but it needed to be addressed. "Aunt Akane...first and foremost I want to apologize to you for the disrespect my brother......that traitor showed towards. I also want to apologize for the pathetic excuse that is my father for his betrayal to your sister, my mother. I'm sure that if that b*****d would have gotten some balls and allowed the demon within to come full circle you wouldn't have been so disappointed...so enraged by your daughter following in her aunts pawsteps. So I vow that I will be there to make sure that the cubs don't turn out like that weakling...and I will destroy that welp....even if it means it causes my last breath."

Pausing, Akane looked to him, her eyes narrowed slightly before she smirked a smile at him, "Do not apologize for him, or for anything. Its a sigh of weakness, unless it is among friends or family. But you've nothing to be sorry for, you cannot help whose blood runs through your veins, but can only prove, that it does not weaken you. Demon or not, he would have enough impressed me enough to even tolerate him. And the fact he dare get my daughter with cub, is enough to only prove his stupidity and it seems my own daughters as well." She flicked her tail, she'd not speak any further about Sera, she would deal with that in due time.
She began walking towards her mothers call, "Now, lets go greet your grandmother, and..anything you hear spoken between me and her, is not to leave the three of us...or will you taste my flames." She warned, she had to tell someone of her expecting cubs, why not her dearest mother?

He feigned a hurt expression. "Aunt, how could you even think I'd be so stupid as to release any information shared between you and grandmother? I have more common sense than that." He returned her smile with one of his own. "You seem a bit tired, if you'd like I can carry you so you have some time to rest. I noticed that you were shifting a lot back home as if uncomfortable." Tierra offered being a mule for her because well why not. He was bigger than the average male lion and he figured it had something to do with the demon blood that coursed within him.

She laughed and shook her head, "Ah, just old bones is all.." She shifted her wings a bit, "But Im not broken, so these paws will carry me.." She said "Though, the way back, I may take you up on that offer..let you work out a bit." She winked as she raced a little aways ahead of him, a bit of a dumb move, but hey, she was allowed to have them once in a while. "Its been a while since I've seen my mum.."
