Pain does not exist... So it's official i am working on a Kirshi/Yin costume for the first day, and maybe a Hei/Li costume for the second day, depending on if i get Kirshi done quickly. ...in my dojo

im either going as itachi or naruto. most likely itachi though....my itachi costume is completed but i still need pants for my naruto one.

OC Preview This was a couple weeks ago when I decided I should try on a part of my costume. 100% Polyester yukata from my 12th birthday. I'm going to have it folded and stitched so that tucking the skirt up won't look so messy. =p  And I'm not wearing that ridiculous orange sash. I'm still in the process of finishing the actual obi. ^__^

Pain does not exist... Lara has finally started on her costume... fabric has been cut and assembled, will start sewing tomoro most likely... pics of progress being taken and will be posted when i'm not dead on my feet xDD g'night all ^^ ...in my dojo

Will be going as a custom version of Nnoitra. Costume being during the fight with Kenpachi with his spoon hat cut mostly off and one sleeve missing. After this year the costume will be modified to be either full spoon or his past version. Still got the shoes to finish but other then that everything else is complete. Even have the Number 5 Tongue Tattoo figured out.
First day Nnoitra.
Second day.Nnoitra/Shikimaru/Random Anbu/Shunsui (not sure yet)
Hopefully by either Jafax this year or next I'll have my shunsui pink coat design fixed and have all the items for him. Was missing his sash in the right color and his hair pins last year other then the correct coat design for his pink coat.

I haven't even picked characters yet! Last year I went as Fuu from Samurai Champloo. This year we are taking the baby, and I want to dress her up as well :]
I am thinking about dressing up as Misa and dressing Kira up (yes thats the baby's name) as L. :]] Not sure what my bf is going to do though.... and we havent decided on the second day's costumes.

Alright after a long debate I've decided to go as Nnoitra (bleach) for 1 day and officially Zero (code Geass) for the other but I have an issue. Does anyone know how to make Zero's Helmet? at least the visor part the rest I can make. I'm not going to spend over $200 on a helmet i'll use maybe 3 times.

Does anyone know how to make Zero's Helmet? at least the visor part the rest I can make. I'm not going to spend over $200 on a helmet i'll use maybe 3 times. You can buy these like different size/shaped giant styrofoam balls at craft stores. They are wonderful... Just carve um and then paint them. If you want a really really smooth finish you could try doing a thin layer of plater of paris (no paper strips in it) over the outside.

I'm hoping to be able to just make the helmet off of some framework I can easliy do but the visor will require me to get some acrylic sheets in dark blue hopefully morph them with heat to the correct shape to fit as a visor I can see aswell as have the helmet complete. If it doesn't work out I guess i'll buy a wig and just go as Lelouch as Zero without the helmet. Have the mask atleast done.
