I suppose it's not really my place to comment on the matter. But Snow's not talking, and you'd probably get more information out of a rock than out of Perla. Well, maybe that's not the best metaphor, considering the living junk monster we fought recently, but I think the idea gets through, don't you? Anywho, it happened quite a long time ago, back when both Snow and I were pretty new to Avryn. He wasn't fully impaired yet, and if you don't know what I'm talking about, then go ask him, damn it. It's really up to him if he wants to tell you, not for me to decide.
Perla had called us to her own little hellhole much in the way she called Nyx and Myu, although this time a certain walking trash head wasn't there to great us. I think Snow had just reached his child form, so he was just learning how to walk, and faceplanting every few steps. As funny as the sight was, I was kinda scared he was gonna give himself brain damage, y'know? Despite certain disabilities and clumsiness, we actually reached the temple without falling off the bridge, which is more than I can say for our last trip. Although the dumbfounded look on his face after he fell in was kinda cute....
Okay, backtrack, enough of that line of thought. Perla was actually in the hall to greet us on our first visit. Which explains why we had no idea where her office was this time, you'd think she'd at least show us in there to have a serious conversation. Not a very thoughtful person, now is she? I have to admit, from my first view of her, I wasn't all that fond of her. Now, you may be saying I'm biased, or one shouldn't judge by first impressions, but she really reminded me of some of the people I used to work with when I was alive. I think the polite term was "airhead."
Of course, my first impression was wrong, and I later changed her label to one that was much less complimentary. I mean, I'll tolerate her for everybody else's sake, but it doesn't mean I have to like her, y'know?
Well, for Snow, I guess it was an instant infatuation. I could see where he was coming from in some aspects, I suppose. I mean, Perla was, and still is one of the most attractive people I've met, despite the pink fetish, and with me, that's definitely saying something. Of course, she probably didn't impress me as much as she does others, for the same reasons. To Snow, she was one of the few females he had contact with. Being pretty and knowledgable, he developed a crush faster than a lightningstorm.
It was almost cute the way he acted the first few times around her, stuttering and dragging his feet, pale skin turning several shades darker in a flush whenever she got too close. I don't think, during those times, that he ever met her gaze once, and considering the frequency of our visits, that was quite a statement. Perla seemed to treat him nicely, always ruffling his hair, and listening to what he said. Everything seemed to be going great, at least in his eyes.
I knew it would never work out.
You might be saying I'm jealous, or something, right? Hardly. It just didn't fit, Snow and Perla being together. I mean, think about it. Perla is much, much older than Snow. The age difference could work out, if the feelings were mutual, but I could tell that wasn't the case either. While Snow showered her with pure adoration, Perla just seemed to consider him some kind of cute pet or something. One time I got upset and yelled at her for it. Perla dismissed it but Snow got very upset with me, burst into tears and ran out of there.
I tried to discuss it with him several times afterwards, but he refused to listen. Said I didn't know anything about love. Sure, most of the guys I interacted with were either dumb as bricks, vain little bastards, or utterly clueless, which kinda killed any potential love interests, but that didn't really matter. I know enough about love to know that this was just going to end in a lot of hurt. I begged him to give it up, but he refused, telling me to leave him alone. I think at this point he hadn't yet realized that I was stuck to him like glue, and couldn't really leave at all.
Not that I didn't want to. Sure, I could leave, but if I couldn't get back in hours, I'd end up fading away. I couldn't risk that, no matter how much my heart hurt, no matter how I felt.
So, I was there with him when he went to confess his love to Perla.
I was there when she told him that his feelngs meant nothing and that she would never ever be with him no matter what.
I could have yelled at her, told her how insensetive she was. How she had lead him on to believing she cared. How he had believed in her despite my warnings. But, I think that would have made things worse for Snow, and meant nothing to her. I get the feeling, that with Perla, the feelings of others are nonexistant, transient, nonimportant.
His body went into shock for a moment, as his mind struggled to make sense of her words. Then he fled, tears beginning to flow hot and heavy down his cheeks. He ran and ran, out into the fields beyond, throwing himself in the soft grass, sobbing hysterically. I tried to comfort him. I gave him all the warmth of my presence, tried to tell him that she wasn't worth his time, that the hurt would go away. I knew that it wouldn't, but I had to say something. Words just can't express the pain of rejection, the pain of loss, and words just aren't enough to comfort it either. I did my best, embracing him with my aura and my love.
I don't think I'll ever be enough to heal the scar in his heart.
Snow is friendly to others, even to Perla. He is a kind and loving individual, with a heart of gold. But his politeness forbids familiarity, keeps him distant from love. I don't think he is opposed to finding friends, he's too nice for that. But, somehow, he never gets close enough to love. It's always Miss, this, or Lady, that. I'm the only one who he trusts enough to drop the title and speak to directly.
And someday, I hope, he'll be able to open his heart to others as well. Until then, I'll protect him from any who wish to hurt him, emotionally or physically.
For I am his guardian, and I love him.

{__Mag and Snow Have Issues__}
"That was unbelievably rude, Mag," Snow sighed, returning to his quarters. Mag, still in a fowl mood, growled at him.
"Got a problem, blue boy? I'm friggin' pissed!" she yelled, frusterated. "We've come up with absolutely nothing useful, run halfway across the country in the process, and...ergh! I want to punch something!"
"Well, I'm afraid that's not really..." Snow began, nervous. He'd only seen her in a mood like this once before, after that incident with Perla. Noticing the temperature plummeting, he yelped.
"Mag! Don't you think the temperature is cold enough in here already?" Panicking, he shrugged back into his coat, covering the rapidly forming goosebumps on his arms. He knew that she couldn't do any real damage, having very distinct limits, but still..."Mag, cut it out!"
"I'm sorry!" She yelled, voice strained. "Just leave me alone for a while!" Her aura retreated into itself, signifying she was brooding. Snow sighed resignedly, shaking his head.
"I can not...do anything, can I?"

{__Troubles in Paradise...yeah right__}
Snow felt remarkably vulnerable without the comforting presence of his guardian nearby. Although not completely helpless, considering all was not lost on the visual front, he could not help but feel a little lost in the whole situation, not to mention a little lonely.
Feeling his way along the wall to the door, and silently cursing the fact that the stone in the hallway was exactly the same color giving no indicator, he eventually made his way outside, shivering slightly as the night air hit him. He pondered a moment that the inside of the granite buildings was so far, finally deciding that some remnant of a magic spell from ages gone must be keeping them warm.
Nervously looking about to make sure he had no audience, he stretched his wings to their full length, feeling a strange, yet familiar magic begin to surround him. Flapping them gently, he rose a few inches into the air, stomach turning.
'The last time that this was attempted, Mag guided my actions...' he thought nervously, running his tongue over his teeth. Snow supposed that he shouldn't completely rely on his guardian, but it was nice to have somebody nearby, especially when one had a tendency to crash face first into inanimate objects.
Sighing, he rose further into the air, stopping once he had gone up a few feet. Off to his right, somewhere near the center of the barracks, he could see an unfamiliar glow, but he felt no hostility, and now was probably not the best time to investigate something. Squinting for a moment, then finally making out the outline of the building he had just exited, he moved forward, landing delicately on the roof.
Snow almost decided to congratulate himself, when the first wave of pain hit.
Gasping, he collapsed onto the stoneware, clutching his arms in shock. Hissing with the sharp pain, his body convulsed. Squeezing his eyes tight shut, he choked back a cry, his lithe form shaking with sobs.
"What's...happening..." he choked out the words, wishing that there was someone...
"Snow!"
Despite the agony, he could not help but be delighted to hear his guardian's voice. Relief filled him, and his mind fell into blackness, unconsciousness a welcome remedy to the pain. His guardian cried out in the night, unable to sooth her friend, her beloved.
"Snow! Snow!"

{__Only for now__}
"I can not say that I am entirely happy about this," Snow said, voice quivering with trepidation. It wasn't that he didn't trust Lady Mekiv, but the thought of his guardian leaving him, even for a short amount of time was a bit disconcerting and somehow...sad.
"Neh, Snow, don't worry! I'll be back before ya even notice I'm gone!" Mag stated, trying to make her voice sound confident. In reality, her spiritual heart fluttered with excitement and nerves. The prospect of getting a physical form was almost too exciting to bear, but, leaving her Snow all alone? That was not good, definitely not. It was almost too much to ask, even if it was only, as Mekiv said, a short while. She felt her voice hitch a little, ruining her image of fearlessness. "Promise you'll come when it's time?"
Snow smiled gently, eyes softening.
"Do you even need to ask?" he said, gently teasing. Mag felt somewhat better at his response, a little less trepidation at leaving.
"So, should we say goodbye, then?" she asked slowly, reluctant to leave. Snow shook his head.
"You are not leaving forever. I do not think it right to say goodbye, when you are leaving only for now, only for a short while," he said, smiling again. "After all, goodbye seems so permanent."
"Allright then," Mag said, "How about 'See you later'?" Snow nodded at her response.
"That's much better," he affirmed, shaking a finger at his guardian's aura. Mag laughed, Snow joining in after a few moments. When their giggles died down, he wrapped his fingers around the pendant Mekiv had given them.
"So then..." he began.
"So then," Mag repeated, not sure what to say.
"I'll be seeing you later," Snow prompted, forcing a smile onto his face. Despite his brave words, he couldn't help but feel lonely already.
"That's a promise," Mag yelled, forcing enthusiasm. And with that, not wanting to delay any longer for fear of not letting go, Snow concentrated his power in the crystal attatched to the pendant. The two were surrounded in a haze of bright light, which seemed to penetrate right into their souls.
When the light finally faded, Snow could no longer feel his guardian's prescence. Empty eyes filled with tears, and he turned his face to the sky.
"Be safe," he whispered, words lost in the wind.

Quote: A gentle snow begins to fall softly on the Barrack's grounds, blanketing it with white. One of the doors of the stone buildings was opened wide, allowing a gentle orange light to fall onto the cobblestones. A large bonfire roars in the hall of the building, filling the entire room with warmth. A figure can be seen beyond the fire, fumbling about on the floor. "Mari, where did I put the chocolate and marshmallows?" Snow asked, running his hands about the floor. Marinae rolled her eyes, snorting. "You put it down when we came in. Try checking near the door."Yuki Himitsu Tae let out a faint grumbling sound as he wandered into the building. He shook the snow from his hood and his ears, the large appendages curling back angrily almost as he huffed a bit. He was tired and he was cold.
He could just barely smell the burning embers of the fire nearby, and his ears instantly perked up, tail swaying happily behind his person as he started forward. It smelled just like.. Mmmn, it smelled like WARMTH is what it smelled like, and he was all for warmth.
He also caught scent of Snow, and he perked up once again, stalking around to find the other Zahdl. He spotted him not too far from the fire, talking to his shimmer spirit, as he liked to call them. He grinned a bit and tottered on over to him, lifting his hands to actually put his hands over the other's eyes.
"Guess who~" he grinned, having to stand behind the other to reach. Tae was small for his age, and he felt silly, but, he didn't mind, Snow had always been larger than he was, so he let him get away with it, after all. He snickered a bit as he watched the flames, taking his hands off of Snow's eyes after getting bored within moments and sitting down across from it.
He wanted to play with it, but thanks to a few incidents in his home, he wasn't allowed to play with fire like he used to be. He leaned forward, dangerously close, almost nose touching the flames as they crackled and popped in front of him. He didn't even sweat, but his body was used to extreme heat, after all, as his element was fire. He exhaled slowly, grinning as he turned to face Snow, "How you been?"
Xi Xi almost didn't recognize Snow. She hadn't seen anyone in over a year, so it was hard to determine who was who. She and Tae had gone missing for, god, over a year? It was Xiao's fault, but that was an entirely different story.
She moved to flutter her body ontop of Tae's head, nesting there and watching the blue boy. He had grown up into a very handsome young man, she had to admit. She nodded, as though in approval, but returned to watching the fire with Tae.
'It's going to be weird, Tae. We've been gone for a long time, so I'm going to guess all of your old friends are going to have grown up..' she warned her little Zadhl friend whom nodded in agreement. She was glad he understood that much at least. She just hoped he didn't get too angry that he was the only tiny one.
His growth had stunted for some reason, and she and Xiao had both worried about him. Though he seemed all right, at least.. Kesmi Cold, snow knee deep, man it was sucked being out in the open sometimes, Page shivered giving a glare at the air about him as it seemed that Cosmic had tried to keep him warm. Couldn't he have, had some shoes or something? His feet were freezing, "Cosmic, this had better be good." Page snapped as he grew closer toward the Barracks where everyone was said to be gathering. "Because this is stupid enough already, we could be in our warm cave instead of out here."Cosmic didn't answer as Page's wings opened upon his back and he lifted himself out of the snow. At least the air wasn't as cold as the snow was, well... Then again, it was cold enough for the rain to freeze and turn to snow. Great, just another thing to hate about the winter. growing closer to the cluster of buildings, Page landed again outside the open doors where the heat could be felt. "At least it is warm in there." Page sighed as he landed soon heading toward the doors, i hopes of at least warming his frozen feet."And just behave." Cosmic warned as Page waved him off. "Don't make me scratch you again."Page glared toward Cosmic once more as he stepped past the threshold of the main hall it seemed. Now he felt out of place and very awkward. He wished to be home, but it seemed that he no choice, but to enter now. It had grown dark yet again and he couldn't start for home at least until the sun rose again. He would have to make the most of it, but at least it was warm here. seeingwhenblind Myu had never seen anything quite like the cold, white substance that was currently covering the vicinity. She felt the need to investigate as she watched it fall from her barrack, but when she got outside, she could help but stare at it. What was this, and how did get here? She couldn't quite grasp the concept of snow and felt the need to touch it with her bare hands.
It was freezing, but Myu could feel the substance slowly melt away in the palm of her hand into a liquid a clear. Liquid? Did this substance melt away with heat...even body heat? How...strange.
She then brought her hand closer to face as if to smell the remains of the once solid and cold white material. Unfortunately for Myu, it had no smell at all.
How...interesting.
Nyx was in the dark just as much as Myu was. She had never seen snow before in her life. Just the realization that cold flakes of white fell from the sky was unfathomable to the both of them. They didn't understand, but they were completely intrigued.
"I wonder that this is..." Nyx mused, breaking the silence that lingered over their heads.
Myu gave no response but simply continued to watch the snow from above. She shivered slightly with the drop in temperature but also because of her outfit. One shouldn't go out in a snowstorm in a dress of sorts.
Peering slightly over to a nearby building, Myu could see the crackling of the fire shadow on the ground made possible by the open door. Shaking slightly as she walked to the building, she was surprised to see she wasn't alone.
"Hey, everyone!" Nyx exclaimed happily, making their presence known. M Feeling a pair of hands placed over his eyes, Snow jumped slightly, almost falling flat on his face. Recognizing the voice, he smiled gently as Mari snickered in the background. "Ah, Tae? I hope you have been well," he said laughing softly. Sensing others nearby, and hearing Nyx's cheerful greeting, Snow felt relieved that his idea to warm a cold night was turning out to be a success. "Welcome everyone!" he says happily, standing up. "We shalll have s'mores and roasted marshmallows made as soon as I locate the bag with the supplies."((Happy Christmas Eve all!)) Yuki Himitsu Tae grinned at his friend, tilting his head and waving a hand, "Got back from going around the world. It was so much fun! And cold... But fun!"
He clapped his hands, but frowned, "Though in Utah, there was SO MUCH SNOW.. I was miserable there for the longest time.. Momma wasn't too happy there, either.. I'm just glad to finally be home, though.. Warmer here.. Or, well, it was..."
He looked toward Myu as she came in and did a double take, "MYU! You're... Taller, too?" he frowned slightly, but stood up, scrambling over to give his friend a hug after not having seen her in a long time, either. Xi Xi had been right, everyone HAD changed. And a LOT since he left and came back.
He turned his eyes toward Snow as well, moving over to give him a big hug and rubbing their cheeks together, "It's been way too long since I've seen you! EITHER of you! I'll bet Falco's bigger than me, too, isn't he..."
Tae felt miserably depressed at this point. Now his world was bleaker since he was too small. He shifted to wriggle slightly back into the seat he was in earlier. seeingwhenblind ((All righty. <3 ))
Stepping more into the room so she was further away from the cold, Myu started glancing around. It appeared she wasn't the only one who ventured to this building to escape the change in weather, more specifically the cold. Apparently Snow as well as Tae and Page were here as well. Though, she was only more familiar with Snow than the other two. Honestly, Myu only had limited interaction with the two, and that was most likely her own doing. At least she knew who they were...
The only comforting thought was the presence of Snow. He was the first person Myu met in this world, and in her own way, she actually looked up to him. He was older and seemed to know a lot, so who better not to look up to? Though, Myu would never admit this or even show the slightest inkling.
Before she could properly gather herself together, Myu felt someone dash toward her and give her a hug. Slightly confused and not too sure if she like the contact, she become slightly more relaxed when the child made his way over to Snow, at which she brushed herself off.
Tae. He still had a lot of energy like Myu remembered. He liked to hug people too...
How odd...
Positioning herself near the fire, she leaned against a nearby wall and looked off. "Indeed...It has been a while..." The teen droned lacing her arms through each other as a way to keep warm but also because she always did that.
M Snow returns the hug happily. "I guess the cold does not bother me so much, thanks to the tempermental nature of Mari's powers," Snow muses aloud, as said guardian blows a raspberry at him. "But not enough to ignore such a blizzard!"As more of Tae's words registered, he frowned. "What is this 'Utah'?" He turned to Mari, who answered succinctly with a "Hell if I know?"He turns back to Tae, shrugging. "I suppose I have never really noticed anyone's size so much. I suppose it is an effect of having been the oldest."Snow then smiles at the female Zahdl. "Have you been well, Myu?"seeingwhenblind "We were fine before that weird stuff started falling for the sky!" Nyx blurted out in response to Snow's inquiry. Sure, it had been an odd couple of months, and they just recently found themselves back at the barracks. They were here now...and alive. That would entail them being fine, right?
Of course.
Nyx was slightly worried when Myu took it upon herself to leave the barracks for a bit to leave outside again. Nyx wasn't too keen on that. Myu wanted to travel, but Nyx just wanted to stay where she knew it was safe. At least they were back now...only colder and more confused.
Glancing slightly at Snow, "I suppose..." Myu replied indifferently, ignoring her guardian all together. "Time seems to have started once again..."
"Time never stopped..."
"Indeed…Have you been well?"
"Do you mean the snow?" Snow asked, confused. Most of his experiences with that particular weather phenomena had been memorable, thanks to Mari's inherent hatred for the substance that had 'ended her'. He found it hard to believe that somebody had not heard of snowflakes before.
"It was an odd period of time," Snow agreed, nodding. Mari snorted in annoyance.
"At least you were having fun, off hopping to some other world!" she grumbled, hovering over to him. "I was stuck with that damn p***k alternate version of you for hell knows how long!"
"I regret being unable to meet him, but my experiences were not all fun and games," Snow scolded gently. Mari looked away sheepishly. She supposed that her bad mood could be attributed to the weather, and that she shouldn't take it out on the others, especially on the holidays.
She supposed.
"Other than some fairly odd experiences, I would say that we are quite well," Snow replied, nodding. "What have you been up to in this time?"seeingwhenblind Snow? How was Snow falling from the sky when he was right here? That honestly didn't make sense to either of them, but Nyx was the one seemed to dwell on it. Where they part of Snow or something? Was Snow making them fall from the sky, and then he lured them here! Yes! That was it! Snow made cold substance fall from the sky in order to lure all the Zahdl back together.
What a nice guy.
Happy with her conclusion, Nyx preened and silently congratulated herself.
At this point though, Myu honestly didn't care about the snow. Snow had been to another world? How interesting...Sure they all had been to the world of Gaia, but there were others they had access to as well? Not only that, but Snow and Mari were separated at this time and alternate Snow? What had caused that? Or even, how did that happen?
It was just so intriguing to Myu. Far more interesting than what she had done to pass the time.
Masking her intrigue, "I traveled to do some thinking..."
"Which I didn't understand. She thinks everywhere as it is."
((Hehe, I'll explain the whole alternate timeline thing at some point. I just needed to do something to make all of my OCs go WTF? O.O))
Frankly, Snow was still wondering why Mari decided to name him after the thing that had killed her. Although the girl seemed to wear her emotions like a banner, there were just some things that he could never quite figure out.
"Well, perhaps sometimes it is best to change one's environment to gain new insights?" Snow suggests in response to Nyx's statement.
Mari, in a rare moment of restraint, decided not to make a rude comment.
"I think Tae passed out. Must've been tired from running around in the cold outside," she substituted.seeingwhenblind ((XDD That's always fun.))
"If you say so..." Nyx muttered in response to Snow. She was just unhappy that they had to leave the barrack. Even if Myu didn't like it, Nyx did. She was actually quite fond of it, so when Myu decided to leave, Nyx wasn't sure if they were ever to come back.
Nyx honestly just hated change of sceneries. She liked routine, so when change came along, it usually threw her for a loop.
Off in her own world, Myu glanced over to Tae when he was brought up in the conversation. It appeared he was sleeping. Normally, that would be a good idea though, right? One could freeze to death.
"I see..." She replied nonchalantly, diverting eyes to look off once more.
"We should get him a blanket, so he won’t freeze..."
Yuki Himitsu Tae was asleep. But it was just a nap attack, he got those a lot sincehe came back from Utah to be exact, and the others had gone on talking about things of their own accord.
He winced in his sleep, body beginning to change. It wasn't long, though. His hair grew out past his shoulders near his mid back, arms and legs growing out to be around six feet tall.
Boy Momma was gonna be happy.
Xi Xi finally turned about, having woken up herself she blamed Tae for rubbing off with his nap attacks on her, though, seeing him grow she fluffed out in surprise. This was new! She prodded at him as he sat up, 'You all right, Tae?'
"My head hur--.. Why does my voice sound strange..?" his hand rose, though he caught sight of his hands, and he stood, "I.. I got big! I'm bigger! I'm... Ow, still growing, ow. Ow. Leg. Cramp. Ow," he gripped at his leg as he knelt back down, rubbing the appendage in aggrivation. Hearing the other Zahdl awaken, Snow turns in Tae's general direction. However, upon hearing the different voice, his brows furrow in confusion. He hadn't heard anyone else come in, he was sure of it.
However, upon hearing what the voice was saying, Snow decided to assume that the new voice was Tae, and that he needed to brush up on sensing changing auras.
"Tae? Are you alright?" he asks, concerned.
Mari gapes, trying to find something to say.
"The hell?" she finally manages.seeingwhenblind ((Congrats. <3 Tae looks awesome.))
Glancing over slightly herself, Myu was surprised to see someone entirely different than before. Tae? Was this new person Tae? If it was, he had been smaller a second ago, right? So what happened? Well...obviously he grew, but it was still a little weird. He fell asleep and awoke totally different.
How odd...
Sure, she had experienced it first hand, but she never watched it. It was just very interesting.
"You grew as well now?" Myu droned, stating the obvious.
Torati It was so cold.
Cirre was freezing. He had been invited to a bonfire, but he was absolutely frozen through to the bone! Being so thin, he couldn't help but wish he had some kind of extra fat, or muscle, or something. He was still tired, he had been doing a lot of research on the sudden growths of all the Zahdls. Not only that, there were rumors of more sprites running around and he was still trying to figure out what was going on.
Poor Shion was being overloaded with taking in abandoned Zahdl, and he had also been helping the man with them, which was in itself, an insane task! There were SO MANY of them now! Thoguh he had a feeling that there was going to be a lot more guardians running around as well. Hopefully they wouldn't world jump so much, which he was still trying to figure out. Most of the time, when Zadhls jumped between Avryn and the real world, they actually weren't seen by other humans.
Tae had been an entirely different story and he was going to figure that out. He had already spoken with Xiao, now he just needed to talk to a few of the other Zadhls.
Once he finally arrived, he didn't bother taking off either his hat or his scarf. He had snow hanging down from the large rim of the giant hat and he brushed it off as he came in, bi-colored blue and green eyes twinkling at the sight of the bonfire and the Zadhl already there, "My my, already all grown up?" he pat the top of Tae's head, or, well, tried to, Cirre barely came up to around five foot six feet tall...
He spotted Myu, and offered a small smile to her, and seeing Snow his grin broadened, "Ah! Snow! It's good to see you, I don't see you in the Library so much anymore, found something to keep you busy?" he grinned at the male, before moving to the fire to extend long fingers to the flames licking in the hearth, "Ahhh.. SO much better..."Yuki Himitsu "I guess I finally grew up! Didn't you guys grow up this way, too?" Tae turned his eyes toward Snow, then back toward Myu with a playful wink, "Guess I did! How do I look? I don't have a mirror or anything!!"
Tae didn't need a mirror in the end, as Xi Xi answered for him, 'I'd tap that if I didn't help raise you.'
Tae flushed darkly at the comment, tensing slightly when he felt the hand, but realizing it was just the bookworm, he grinned and waved his hand back at him, "Hi, Mister Cirre!"
That was the only sentiment he offered going into the marshmallow bag and started huntign a few down, "I want some s'mores! C'mon, let's get this bonfire started! We going to cook any meat?" he flicked his tail around happily, nibbling a bit on one of the chocolate pieces, already getting hyper. M "Ah, hello Cirre." Snow replied, rubbing his hands together in front of the fire to warm them. "I'm sorry I haven't been by lately, things have been somewhat hectic.""Friggin' weird if you ask me," Mari added her two cents. "Yes, I also grew while sleeping at one point. Odd dreams too..." Snow drifted off, lost in thought. seeingwhenblind ((XDDD Aww. Page-sicle. That made me laugh. <3
Danke, Britt. Bwaha. <3
Crack spawn. D; ))
Who was this man, and did Tae just wink at her? Myu couldn't help but be confused by everything that just transpired. Everyone else seemed to know this strange man with rainbow-colored hair, but she didn't. She wasn’t even aware of his existence, but apparently his name was Cirre. He knew Snow. He knew Tae. Okay...Well who was he?
Maybe he was like Shion? Maybe...
Oh well...
Myu seemed to lose interest, but Nyx entirely enthused. First Tae grew, and now a man with colorful hair walked in. How awesome was that~!
Not only that, but she guessed weird dreams were to be expect when the Zahdl grew.
"Weird dreams...What..." Nyx started as she tried to remember. It was a weird incident where she was with Myu during her dream, so she saw what happened. It was more like reality than a dream though. "...with some freaky, enigmatic kid?"
Torati Cirre smiled slightly, "That's quite all right, Snow! I just missed your company, you always were so inquisitive about Avryn..." he clapped his hands together, eyeing Tae as he mentioned something about meat. Cirre was strictly a vegetarian, seeing as there were so many creatures around, and even then there were a few plants that he couldn't eat.
Though he grinned slightly, there were a few older Zahdl that were most likely to be rehomed, and he was happy to see them sent to good guardians where there would be taken care of. He stretched his arms above his head and soon removed his scarf, and his hat. He sat down and watched, "Don't mind me! I'm here to supervise..."
With that, he opened up one of his scrolls and began to read. He had a little to catch up on after all.Yuki Himitsu Tae merely grinned at Myu and then looked over toward the others. He spotted Cirre sitting down off to the side, but said nothing. The male didn't want to be bothered, apparently, so he wasn't going to be the one to do it.
However, Snow was a prime victim! He moved over and pounced slightly onto him in a hug. Snow had always been like a big brother to him, after all, so he couldn't help but want to be all brotherly with him. It was too bad, he really wished he had some kind of sibling.
He instead reached over and picked up the s'more he'd put in the fire a few seconds before, and pulling it out he offered some of it to Snow, nibbling on his half and watching the door in a silent attempt to see if anyone else was going to come in. He was excited, tomorrow was Christmas, his family was going to be there, and there was so much to do! Kesmi Clawed toes clicked against the stone flooring as Page shook the snow from his body, wings and tail feathers. Man it was bloody cold out there, Shaking his wings out some, he stepped away from the melting pile of snow on the floor and headed over toward the fires. It was warmest over there, but it was also crowded. "Man, many are here." He groaned, hoping there wouldn't be that many. "Maybe this was a bad idea?"Leaning against a wall off to one side, yet still close enough to the fire, Page watched the others around. He couldn't help, but feel curious of who they were, but he wasn't much of a social butterfly. He preferred his solitude and quite, besides the nagging voice of his guardian. "Page, give it a rest, we are here now. So just mingle a little, make friends and be happy it's warm." Cosmic muttered laying over Page's shoulder.Page could only roll his eyes as he glanced over toward where Cosmic had collected himself as his fingers laced around the arrow head that was resting against his chest. It was his only real treasure he had found and would frown upon losing it here or anywhere. His thoughts clouded his attention of his surroundings... M "Ah, Tae!" Snow gasped, surprised as the younger Zahdl pounced. Laughing he returned the hug, squirming slightly.
"You are getting a little big to do that," he teases, shaking his head. Smelling the chocolate and marshmallow being waved under his nose, he accepted the offered treat with a happy "thanks" and munched on it happily.
Mari, sighing, settled herself on Snow's head, making a nest in his hair. She glanced up at the newcomer, putting her head in her hands.
"Nice weather we're having, neh?" she drawled, smirking. Yuki Himitsu "Nnnneeevaaar!" Tae looked like Snow had told him that he was really made of dirt! He would never be too big to give his big brother luvvins! Besides, he wanted to! Snow was fun to hug, he was cool, and when their bodies touched there was this thing of steam that rose up. It was kinda fun to watch.
Though right now he was just getting hyper on pure sugar and chocolate. He ate his half, and soon made another s'more, tail wagging wildly about, he noticed the newcomer. He offered an enthusiastic wave before trapping the new s'more in his hand and blowing the flames off. The fire didn't hurt him anymore!
He offered another half to Snow, seeing as he wasn't doing much of anything, "The weather is very dreary, but it's suiting for Christmas! Mom and I are going to make snowmans outside our house!" he grinned a bit.
It was childish, but he didn't care, it would be fun to make one seeing as he generated so much heat he could probably make an ice carving! He wiggled his tail, licking the melted marshmallows from his lips.

seeingwhenblind Myu, as well, glanced over at the new comer. He looked familiar, but she wasn't quite sure who he was. Perhaps, she met him when he was smaller? Maybe...Who knew? Myu didn’t know that many people, so one would think she would remember people’s names. Regardless, he stood near by her seeing as she leaned up against the opposite wall.
She gave a slight nod of the head in welcoming and decided to stare into the fire.
Socializing wasn't her thing either.
M "I am just kidding," Snow laughs, shaking his head. "Maybe we should make snowmen as well, Mari?"
"Oh, really?" Mari stared down at him disdainfully from her perch. "I'd love to see how those turn out. Pfft."
Shaking his head, Snow began to fumble about on the floor, looking for more chocolate bars. Yuki Himitsu "You should build one with me and my Mom! She's going to be mad that I'm all tall now, but I don't think she'll mind!" he grinned widely, then ate himself another s'more, this time enhaling the entire thing on his own.
Though now he was on such a sugar rush, he finally stopped and flicked his tail wildly around behind him, probably whapping poor Snow in the back. He turned to face Page, but he didn't know him, so he didn't say much. Myu looked like she didn't want to socialize, she probably would if Falco were there, though.
Little birdie told him that they were dating, so he didn't want to cause any kind of friction but doing anything that either of them would dislike. Instead, he turned to face Snow again, "You know Mom loves you to death, she'll probably end up huggling you to death, though. I can't guarantee you'll be ABLE to build a snowman if you can't pry her off of you!" he teased. seeingwhenblind It was pretty upsetting for Nyx that Myu didn't socialize as much as the other Zahdl seemed to do. Everyone else seemed talkative, but Myu was always off in her little thought world or staring off into space.
Unattached.
"Snowmen?" Nyx asked, confused trying to bring Myu into the conversation though she wasn't too keen on the topic.
Not this whole Snow thing again. Now you could make more Snows? Sure, Mari mentioned something about a replacement Snow, but is that how they come into existence? You made them with that white material? "Why do we need more Snow?"
M The tail rapidly swishing back and forth under his nose finally did its work, and Snow let out a mighty sneeze, dislodging Mari from his head. Swearing profusely, Mari rebalanced herself in the air, glaring at both her partner and the tiger boy.
"She's probably going to make you do all the stuff for tall people, like getting stuff off high shelves and other annoying things," she mumbled, irritated at being disturbed after she had gotten comfortable.
"Now, now, Mari, it's the holidays," Snow sighed, shaking his head. He could feel her growing more upset by the minute, and he was afraid she'd explode on somebody if he let her be.
"Tae, I would love to build snowmen with you. We will certainly have enough materials after a storm such as this!" Snow glanced outside at the rapidly mounting snowdrifts. "And I would love to see your mom as well." Snow blinked at Nyx's inquiry.
"Are we...perhaps having a misunderstanding?" seeingwhenblind Lifting her gaze from the fire, "...Ignore her..." Myu said simply, a slight frown etching its way on her face. Nyx honestly didn't know when to keep her mouth shut. It was obvious those two were in a conversation and Myu honestly only come here to get warm. She wasn't expecting there to be others here as well.
"Hey!" Nyx exclaimed angrily. "I want to know what their talking about. More Snows running around? What's going on?"
It was apparent that there was definitely a misunderstanding going on. Just goes to show you what difference of worlds produce.
That and not knowing what "snow" was...
Yuki Himitsu Tae grinned broadly at Snow, finding another bar of chocolate he broke it off, then nibbled on his half, letting the other half rest on his leg in case he wanted to eat it sooner than he planned or felt like sharing.
Thoguh as Snow sneezed, he jumped, tail fluffing out insanely so. I had a life of it's own apparently as it flicked about and eventually dropped to the ground. Tae glowered at it, turning his eyes over to Snow he grinned sheepishly, "Sorry, Snow. Didn't know it was tickling your nose or anything.."
He frowned at it like it was the cause of most of the trouble, and it was, and not his fault at all. He turned to face the young man and hearing Mari's anger growing, he frowned slightly, "Sorry..." M "More...me's?" Now Snow was really confused. Excluding the alternate version of himself, who he was certain was very firmly entrenched in his own world, he couldn't imagine why Nyx would think there would be more of him running about...unless...
Magnus burst out laughing "I'm imagining a bunch of mini Snow's running around the barracks, and boy is it great!" she howled, tears running down her face. "Hey, partner, don't ever have kids, neh?"
Snow flushed darkly. "You are entirely at fault for this situation," he stammered out, trying to hide his embarassment. "Why on earth did you name me after a weather phenomena anyway?"
"Well, I could've named you Mr. Freeze, but I figured I'd go with the more subtle choice," she drawled, smirking at her thoroughly blushing friend. seeingwhenblind Weather phenomena? Oh! That white stuff was snow, not Snow, but Nyx still didn't get that whole snowman concept. But hey, at least she wasn't entirely clueless anymore. She was just slightly in the dark now.
"So that stuff is snow?" Nyx asked trying to clear the air and firmly understand what was going on.
Learn something new everyday.
Though, little Snows would be cute...It was a little weird to imagine though...Oh well.
"Obviously, it's snow..." Myu droned finally grasping the concept as well. Yuki Himitsu Tae was trying to figure out how to explain snowmen when Mari mentioned something about Mini snows..
He tried his hardest to hold it back, so very hard, but it was too much! He started snickering, and suddenly laughing, falling over sideways onto the floor and holding his sides, "AHAH!" he snickered a bit.
He tried offering some chocolate as a peace offering so Snow didn't pelt him with snowballs or anything. Though the word Snowballs just made him imagine a rolly polly Snow and he started laughter all anew. He curled up into a ball, arms around his head as he started snickering, "HOGAWDSNOWBALLS!!" he laughed harder, tears in his eyes.
Oh his sides were aching! But the mental images! Snowdrifts! Snow Balls! Snow Flakes! Ahaha! IT was too much! He was gonna pee his pants at this rate! M At the outburst, Snow flushed even deeper. "Is-is that really necessary?!" he stuttered. Unconsciously he backed up against the wall, huddling into himself.
Mari raised an eyebrow in amusement. It was very rare to see her partner sulk, he was normally so composed. She put this little incident into her mental archive so that she could use it later for her own amusement.
"Snowballs..." she sniggered softly to herself. She wondered if Tae even noticed the innuendo in that. And speaking of Tae...
She snagged the chocolate that he had been holding out, an nibbled on it happily. After all, it was her turn to have a nice treat too!
"Quiet, Mari." Snow did his best to glare at her from his position against the wall. She had to admit it would've been a good one...if he wasn't looking about a foot to her right. Yuki Himitsu
"Ahaha! Haha, oooohgodthatistoofunny," his words began running together as Tae tried his best to breathe.. He huffed out a few puffs of smoke before laying on his back and watching Snow with a quirked brow as the icey Zahdl sulked.
Well THAT wouldn't do! He frowned and sat up, crawling over to him and without warning his hands shot out and he began tickling at Snow's sides and near his ribcage!
"No depression on Christmas! C'mon! I was only playin'!" he even leaned in to actually snarf against his neck. And what's snarfing? Remember when you were a kid, and your parents would play eat your belly by lipping and blowing against the skin?
That's snarfing.M "Ah, Tae, stop!" Snow gasped, trying not to laugh. He'd always been very sensitive to touch, so the other' Zahdl's ticking was especially effective.
"I...sorry!" he managed to get out. He squirmed, trying to get into a position to avoid Tae's tickling. Of course, by his own doing, he had backed into the wall...
"Ack!" And of course, Snow had never been snarfed before by anyone. He yelped, flailing, then decided that the best defense was a good offense. He'd try tickling back...if only he could stop laughing for two seconds. Yuki Himitsu "NEVAR!" with a battle cry he continued tickling Snow, following after the Zahdl as he backed into the wall. He continued to laugh almost evilly as he watched the ice being squirm and writhe to try an get away.
BUT OH NO! Retaliation! Tae started laughing as well, trying to pin his elbows to his sides to block Snow's hands, but that only made it harder for him to tickle! Augh! Snarfing! Must! Keep! Snarfing! He even gave Snow a lick, which in turn ended up with a small electric shock into his tongue.
Having a barbell tongue ring didn't exactly help, either. His mouth lit up like a Christmas Tree for two seconds, and he got an almost wicked grin on his face, "That's awesomeeee!" he laughed and licked Snow's neck again, still tickling him and harassing the Zahdl with his playfullnes. M Of course, the electric Zahdl wasn't unaffected by his body's response to liquids. The entire section of his neck went tingly, causing him to slap a hand over it.
"Geez Tae!" Snow whined, trying to hold in his laughter. His chest was seriously starting to hurt! Sliding down against the wall, he rolled across the floor trying to get away. As he sat up, he managed to land on a bag of unopened marshmallows, which burst open with a large pop, startling Snow, who leaped up with a yelp.
Mari, who was greatly enjoying the entire spectacle, smirked. "Just be glad he ISN'T an ice elemental. Probably end up having your tongue frozen to him like in those old movies." Yuki Himitsu Tae finally let up, sitting back on his legs and sticking out his tongue, watching the tiny charges against the metallic barbell. He grinned stupidly, like a kid who found a new plaything and finally pulled his tongue back into his mouth.
When the bag popped, however, he too jumped, claws extending from his fingertips and he was literally hanging from one of the support beams above them. He hung there for a second or two, tail fluffed out to it's maximum size and he climbed back down slowly, snuffing at the marshmallow bag, "... Aww, we lost our marshmallows!"
He started cleaning up the massive explosion of the fluffy sugar balls, stuffing them back into the bag and grinning sheepishly at Snow in apology. He was just having some fun, his Mom did that with him all the time... He turned the bag so the opening wouldn't let the marshmallows fall out and he turned back around, ears pushed back and the grin growing on his face, "You're fun to lick, Snow! It's like static electricity! Only in your mouth!" M Snow fumbled sheepishly around on the floor until he came up with the empty bag of marshmallows.
"Er...I think that there may be another bag around here somewhere. I hope." How embarrassing! Not that he hadn't been embarrassed enough already, but this time it was mostly his own doing. And now that he was moving, he kept stepping on the squishy treats, which were fast melting in front of the large fire.
"Yuck," Snow made a disgusted face, removing one of his shoes and attempting to scrub the squishy mess off of it. Halfway through, he looked up at Tae.
"I am not a popsicle, Tae," Snow said, laughing sheepishly. He wondered if he should apologize. But he was a lightning elemental after all, he tended to spark in certain situations.
Yuki Himitsu Tae chuckled, holding up the spare bag that they had he had been munching on earlier. It was still mostly full, at least. Once he finished refilling the bag, he snickered at Snow's comment about being an icey treat.
"Aww, c'mon! You don't taste half bad, actually.. And it's fun! Especially with thith thee'g," he stuck out his tongue to reveal that tongue ring of his, making it wiggle a bit before he pounced onto the light based Zahdl with a grin, nuzzling his belly and giving his side a playful pinch and getting back to work cleaning up.
He managed to get the ones that Snow didn't step on, throwing the already half melted ones away, he was careful not to hold them too log or else they would melt in the palm of his hand. m "I have a taste?" Snow blinked. He was unaware that a person could have a taste, not that he had any experience with such things. Shrugging, he removed his other boot, discarding it to one side so that he wouldn't have to walk around while sticking to the floor. He could soak them in hot water later to remove the sticky substance.
Speaking of sticky...he had melted marshmallow all over his hands. Unconsciously, he stuck his pinky in his mouth. After all, one couldn't waste sweet treats. Yuki Himitsu "Yup you do!" he licked his lips a bit, trying to determine where he had tasted it before, "Kinda like... Cinnamon..." he grinned, "I didn't really get enough of a taste. C'mere!"
He then playfully stalked after Snow, walking as he had done when he was a child, long legs stretching out behind him and his hands on the ground much like his Tiger half trailed through the jungles.
His tail lashed about, upper torso lowering as he looked up almost hungrily at the other Zahdl for a pounce. One could see the muscles tensing and working in his bared bicepts as he watched, pupils dialated to large spots like a kitten with it's prey. M "I also am not a cinnamon stick!" Snow said quickly, alarmed. He raised his hands in defense, trying to find the direction that Tae's voice was coming from over the roaring fire. After all, he certainly couldn't dodge if he didn't know which way the attack was coming from, now could he?
Or he could just fall to the floor to get out of the way. But that would probably lead to another tickling incident because he'd be trapped...again.
"Besides, that much electricity can not be good for you," Snow reasoned aloud. "Your hair is going to end up standing straight up, as if you stuck a fork in an electrical outlet."
Meanwhile, Mari had gone outside to make an ice sculpture or something, and was being absolutely no help as usual. seeingwhenblind Myu stared blankly at the antics currently being displayed by the two other Zahdl, and she didn't understand it one bit. What were they doing? Taste? Why was Tae tasting Snow. Was it because of the marshmellows? Or the snow?...What honestly was going on...? Either way, it was just...different. Nothing that Myu had ever seen.
How...odd.
Feeling strangely out of place much to her own seclusion, Myu quietly prodded and picked a marshmallow that she found. It had an odd texture, but it felt nice. She wasn't sure if she wanted to eat it though if it caused you to lick people.
Not at all.
Myu was not into licking people...Thus, she simply continued to prod the marshmellow -in her own little thinking world- and observed it in her fingers.
Yuki Himitsu Tae smirked, "I won't know that until I get a good enough taste!" and without further adeu he leapt up into the air and caught onto Snow from behind.
He wrapped his arms around him, one across his chest upward along to his right shoulder on his left side, while his free arm wrapped around Snow's neck. With that, he administered a 'love n**', basically giving Snow's neck a play bite that didn't hurt in the least bit.
He looked almost like he was staking his claim, really, uncaring that it looked as such, he gave a lick and a full body shudder errupted from the large electrical charge that bolted down from his mouth to his toes.
His hair rose up as though he had rubbed his head on a balloon, but fell once he let his jaw loosen. Instead, he rested his chin on Snow's shoulder, keeping him captive in a snuggle of some sort as he tried contemplating just where he had tasted that before. It was like Snow tasted more like a smell, so it was hard to describe..
M And, with the combined effects of Tae's pounce, the electrical charge, and Snow's utter lack of coordination, he toppled over. With the very sudden change in position, all the blood rushed to his head making him very dizzy. It honestly felt as though the floor was spinning.
"Urk..." Snow groaned. seeingwhenblind Hearing the commotion, Myu saw Snow suddenly fall. That wasn't good now, was it? Hopefully Snow wasn't hurt. He seemed slightly distressed...and not well, seeing as he fell over. Hopefully everything was all right.
Tilting her head to the side, her gaze drifted away from the marshmallow over to her fallen comrade. "Are you all right, Mr. Snow?"
Eclipsed soul As he told the mysterious child, Cloud began to make his way through the snow filled barracks. Despite the frigid weather and his lack of warm clothing, the feline teenager felt strangely at ease. Being of an ice element, the adolescent never really was bothered too much by the bitterness of the cold.
Much to the Zahdl's surprise, Cloud stumbled across the bonfire. It seemed the others didn't need his warning after all. He only recognized Snow and Myu.
However, there was a strange sight to behold. It seemed the tiger boy was licking the oldest of the Zahdl. Cocking his head to the side, Cloud paused in his footsteps to observe the pair. Is that what teens are suppose to do? Lick each other? How...bizarre.
Midnight was silent, seeing as her attention was on both Snow and the other teen. She noticed the oldest Zahdl collapse to the ground. The guardian spirit shifted her focus back onto the new teen. She had no idea what to do about that situation.
Deciding it was best not to interrupt the strange duo, the cat boy shuffled his way over to join his green feline friend. Cloud offered Myu a warm smile, and waved his hand as a form of greeting. The female teen looked the same as he lost saw her, which was shortly after the first time he sprouted into a child.
'Midnight...could you tell Myu I said hi? And...ask her if teens are suppose to lick each other?' Cloud asked his guardian, with the slightest hint of confusion. This behavior was entirely new to him.
Midnight couldn't help but snicker slightly at the innocent teen's question. She could've answered that one, but alas, it would’ve been more amusing to see the other teen answer it.
"Greetings from both myself and Cloud, Myu and Nyx." The spirit stated casually, as she found herself drawn to the scene of the two others again. This was going to be fun, seeing the distant girl respond to a question of this magnitude.
"Cloud also asks you Myu, if teenagers are suppose to lick each other." Midnight giggled as she followed Cloud's request.
Yuki Himitsu Tae let out a yelp as they fell over, though his arms came out suddenly, he found himself ontop of Snow, seeing as Snow had fallen forward.
He blinked a bit when Snow apparently rolled over, though the fact he had managed to catch himself with his tail a bit, he actually landed with his head nearly completely in Snow's crotch.
He absently sniffed, catching the smell of cinnamon. He blinked a few times, and started sniffing upward along the curve of his fly, and his nose nuzzling up along Snow's belly in curiousity as he nudged the cloth up higher. seeingwhenblind ((Night, Kesmi. <333 Sleep well.))
Continuing to stare at the spectacle, Myu let out a sigh and finally averted her gaze. She had no idea what was going on, and she didn't know if she honestly wanted to know. It was just an odd and awkward situation, but whatever...Hopefully neither of them was hurt. If they were, it was because of their own stupidity...and the sugar.
Lacing her arm through each other, she gave what little attention she had to Cloud. Apparently he found his way to this building as well. The fire within must really be attractive since it's what brought her here as well. Regardless, he seemed different. It looked like the Mysterious Child paid him a visit as well. What a busy holiday this child was having.
"Nice to see you two as well~!" Nyx chirped happily in greeting. She was happy to see the cat boy. She always liked him. He was quiet and cute. Who couldn't like him? "I see you grew, eh, Cloud?"
Myu was being her usual quiet self until she was specifically addressed. She glanced over at Cloud and merely shook her head. "...Not to my knowledge, but we are all different..."
Different, indeed.
M Snow shook his head to clear it.
"I am alright," Snow said, pushing his hair out of his face. "I am afraid that I can be a bit uncoordinated at times."
And then he felt an odd sensation on his stomach, almost as if someone was breathing on him...
"Tae?" Snow yelped, flushing again. "What are you doing down there?"
Mari came back in, grinning.
"Are those two still at it?" she asked, staring intently. She turned to Cloud and Midnight, smiling like the cat that ate the canary. "Honestly, this is better than pay per view!" Yuki Himitsu Tae's head was well burried under Snow's shirt by the time the male started asking questions. In fact, if Snow looked down, he could see him through the neck of his shirt.
"You smell like cinnamon, too!" and without warning, he leaned down to give his chest a lick. The faint shock caused his tail to floof out, but he didn't seem to care. He finally pulled his head back, almost suffocated as Snow frantically tried pulling his shirt back down over him.
"Hehe, you ARE a cinnamon stick, Snow!" he smirked almost at him, tail waving about dangerously behind him as he quirked a brow at him, seeing him flushing, however, the smirk turned to a light look of confusion, "What?" M Snow made random choking noises, dumfounded. He frantically pulled his shirt far down past where it normally went, temporarily stretching the material.
"D-do me a f-favor, T-Tae," he forced out, blush spreading to the tips of his ears. "D-do not go around l - l - licking people, o-okay?"
Mari laughed internally. She made a mental note to keep having Snow buy that good smelling body soap. She wandered over to the other Zahdl, stretching lazily.
"Poor baby doesn't know how to say no, does he?" she cackled. "Hey, Cloud, you're looking good too!" Eclipsed soul So Snow and this tiger Zahdl weren't performing some strange ritual that teenagers do? Interesting...but what were they doing this for then? It made no sense to the confused adolescent. If they did not show this type of behavior as the children and spirits, why start now? His cinnamon colored tail flicked idly, as his brown eyes trailed over to the pair again.
Now it was getting stranger. It seemed the tiger had his face near the crotch of Snow. Cloud looked perplexed as he took in this information. Was this some game that teenagers played?
Snow's guardian, Mari, added more confusion to this mess. Cloud never heard the term 'pay-per-view', but her tone of voice made it seem the scene unfolding before him was supposed to be interesting. Tilting his head to the other side, the cat Zahdl could do nothing but observe.
' Midnight, could you ask Myu if this is some sort of game?' Cloud naïvely questioned his guardian. He was apparently very wrong that this new stage of life wasn’t going to be drastically different.
Midnight, on the other hand, knew exactly what was going on. The two males' actions were getting a little too steamy for her likes. The specter wasn't exactly sure how the Zahdl reproduced, but what she was witnessing was eerily similar to what was done in her world. While, she herself didn't mind seeing two males get intimate, at the moment, she wanted to put off “the talk” for a little bit longer.
"Hehehe...it sure is!" Midnight nervously chuckled. At least Snow seemed to be trying to stop the commotion. It was getting a little too sexual for her liking...
Cloud frowned, as he observed Midnight not help him communicate. Mari's comment, however, made the teen flush slightly. 'Could you please tell Mari I said thank you too?'
"Myu, Cloud also asks if that's some kind of game..." Midnight mumbled still not exactly pleased with his question.
Focusing her attention on Mari, the spirit spoke again. "Cloud says thank you, Mari." However, it was then that Midnight finally seemed to have it hit her. Mari had a physical body. Sure was quite sure the first time they met, she was similar to her. How did this happen?
"Uh...Mari...how did you...get a body?" Midnight inquired, unsure if that was the proper thing to do.
seeingwhenblind Myu merely shrugged at Cloud's question. They were doing something, but she honestly didn't care or know what it was. As long as it didn't bother her in anyway, they could do whatever they wanted, and they weren't bothering her. She stayed near her wall while the two males fell and licked each other. To each their own.
She preferred to think off by herself, and they liked to lick one another. Fine. Okay. Whatever. As long as she wasn't part of it, she didn't care.
"I don't see that as a game, but some may find it 'fun'..." Though, it wasn't entirely her type of fun, but her type of 'fun' may be considered boring. At least to Nyx...
Yuki Himitsu Tae sat back on his legs, still watching Snow with a confused expression on his face. He had done this all the time as a kitten, the problem was it was just with a select few and family members. Snow was considered to be a family member, after all, so he found this all very confusing.
He turned his gaze toward the crowd, and let it c**k to the side. With a shrug he returned his attention to Snow whom asked him about licking. He frowned, "I don't lick EVERYONE! ... Just you and Mom. And only Mom because she gets all creeped out and hits me. It's perfect revenge," he tapped his fingers together diabolically then sat back.
However, he didn't understand what the big deal was, "... What, is it wrong or something? .... I'm sorry, I was just playing around, didn't mean anything..." he had only just grown, he had no idea what was going on. He thought he was just playing with his big brother, after all. Snow hadn't really protested honestly, in fact, he hadn't done much of anything against his actions until that moment.
He frowned slightly, ears drooping down, it looked similar to a kicked puppy in the end. He could feel people staring shortly after, and he instantly skulked away into a corner, tail wrapping about his person and his arms folding at his knees. He didn't know anything about reproduction or anything. Yeah, thanks to his housemates back in Utah, he had learned what 'sex' was and it did, but that was between two different genders. It wasn't anything like what he had just done.
Was it?
He suddenly felt awful, and his brow knit upwards as he lifted his hand and rubbed at his nose slightly, a faint sniffle apparent. Maybe he should go? That would be best, it looked like he was the odd one out at this point, and he moved to leap up into the rafters. He misjudged his height difference, though, and clonked his head quite smartly against one of the low hanging beams.
He hissed out a silent array of words that wouldn't make sense to anyone before moving along the beams, paw toes literally curtaining around the wood as his fingers and hands moved expertly along the length of it.
He didn't want to keep being stared at, he didn't want to be center of attention, he had just wanted to spend time with his friends, that was all.
Xi Xi was at a loss, merely following after him. She didn't know how to tell him that 'licking people that apparently get very aroused by it is bad' when he and Snow had been so close growing up. The Light and Fire elements were basically kinsman, for without fire, there was no light, and without light, there was no fire. It was inevitable that the two would be tight knit, so she was still going to have to figure out how to deal with this situation.
She remained silent as Tae hopped off once he got to the doorway, curling his claws into the doorframe he swung his body out and was galloping on all fours through the snow. M And now Snow felt somewhat guilty. He certainly did not want to hurt Tae's feelings, he was just very bad at handling these kinds of situations! A pit formed in his stomach, he had to go after the other Zahdl. After all, besides Mari, Tae was one of the people that he was closest too.
Standing up and quickly adjusting his clothing, Snow nodded a goodbye to the others. He then ran out into the cold, Mari following at a more sedate pace.
"Tae! Wait!" he yelled, as the snow slowly began to clear and show the night sky. Yuki Himitsu (I know. xD But to Tae, there's a lot of lurkers. xD)
Tae found himself already in the trees near the barracks, hidden with his dark colors amongst the large branches and dark foilage. He had snow dropping down around him, some even forming a small mound on his kneecap.
He could have sworn he heard something, ear twitching slightly upward and then falling. Probably wistful thinking. He let his leg hang down from the branch, glowering at the snow on his other knee as it began melting and freezing on his kneecap. He lifted his had and brushed it away easily enough.
".. 'm so stupid... I act like a little kid, and I'm not one anymore... I wish I knew what to do..." he mumbled, curling his arms about his waist and watching the sky as it began to drift clear of the large clouds. He let long lashes curtain hazel optics as his ears pinned back and down to the sides of his head.
Maybe staying at home would have been best.. His mother had ushered him out because of everything happening with a family member that she didn't want him to have to deal with just yet.. He dug around into his hoodie pocket, taking out the small TY Beanie Baby mouse plushie his mother had bought him and petting it like it were real. M Snow plowed through the snow drifts, which, after such a large storm, came well up to his knees. Wading into the open field between the woods and the barracks, he swung his head from side to side, hoping that one of his senses would give him a clue as to which way Tae had gone. Cursing the fact that he had left his boots back near the bonfire, he hoped that he could find Tae before he actually did become a "Snow-sicle".
"Tae!" he yelled, hoping that the younger Zahdl was close enough to hear him. "I am sorry! Please come back!" Yuki Himitsu Tae let out a faint grunt as he heard something that time. He curled his body over the branch, arm and leg hanging down, he propped his cheek against his hand and turned dialated eyes around the darkness of the night. He spotted Snow then, looking for him.
He pricked his ears forward, hearing his apology he frowned slightly to himself before finally using his claws to climb down. Toe paws crunched faintly in the snow as he stalked over toward Snow, sitting back in a slight squat a little way's away he observed his movements.
He frowned as he realized the Zahdl wouldn't be able to navigate himself this far from the Barracks, and he headed over to the young male. He remained on his hands and knees, bumping his side against Snow's side, much like an actual large cat would do and rubbing gently there. He would guide Snow back to where he belonged...
Though he remained completely silent. M Snow lifted his head as he heard something moving through the snow. Bracing himself, he tried to discern the direction of the movements and the identity of the approaching being before whatever it was got close enough to possibly harm him. However, disoriented as he was, he could barely figure out his own location, let alone the relative location of the other.
Therefore, when the other bumped into his leg, Snow nearly had a heart attack. Reaching down, his hand came into contact with hair and fabric.
"Tae?" Snow asked, confused. Yuki Himitsu Tae didn't say anything once again. He still felt horrible about everything that had happened, so he merely gently nudged the male forward. He made sure he had a grip on the back of his hoodie before suddenly pushing back and making Snow basically ride on his back like a child would playing horsie.
He tilted his body so the other Zahdl could stay balanced, and without further adieu started trotting back toward the house. They were a good ways away from the bonfire, and Tae was surprised that Snow had been able to follow him THIS far. He continued trotting forward, finally speaking, "It was silly of you to follow after me, Snow.. It's too cold for you out here..."
He would feel horrible of the other Zahdl got sick.. He skid to a stop as he approached the barracks, leaping up onto the roofs of the little house like buildings, he slid down one roof, jumped onto another, toe paws digging into the shingles and keeping him balanced. M "Try living with a guardian who drops the temperature every time she gets angry," Snow said, laughing softly. "Although, coming outside without shoes probably was not the smartest idea."
As the other zahdl lifted him and began carrying him back to the barracks, he leaned over to whisper in Tae's ear.
"I am sorry for overreacting," Snow said softly. "I have a tendency to get flustered when I am surprised, which happens much too often. You mean a lot to me Tae, and I do not want to see you upset!"
He sat back up, smiling even though the other zahdl couldn't see him. Yuki Himitsu Tae didn't say much about guardians. His own was just laughing in his ear quietly and he was getting irked at how happy she was acting. What WAS so funny, anyway?
He finally came to a stop on the roof of the barrack that held the bonfire, moving forward, he had to stop when Snow leaned over to whisper. His ear flicked back and forth at the hot air against the sensitive flesh. He closed his eyes a moment, and letting out a breath he blew a few locks of his own hair from his eyes.
"Yeah.. Well..." why did he suddenly feel funny? Something in the pit of his stomach was turning. Not in the 'I'm gonna be sick' way, more like.. How he felt when he thought of getting a Wii for Christmas.. Excitement? Anxiety? It was that 'butterflies in your belly' feeling.. He closed his eyes, then leapt down into the snow, literally skidding in the snow before resting so Snow could walk.
"... We're back.. 'n... Don't worry about it, okay...?" he shuffled his foot slightly, feeling a small flush on his own face, but he had no idea why. Maybe it was the cold, yeah. M Snow gently slid off Tae's back, wobbling slightly before regaining his balance in the powdery white.
"Thank you Tae," Snow said, smiling gently. "Are you coming back in? Like you said, it is very cold out here!" Yuki Himitsu Tae remained outside for now, thinking back to the events that had happened inside, he considered Snow's offer with great scrutiny.
Xi Xi was quietly urging him to go on inside, it couldn't get any worse, after all, unless he flashed someone, and that had Tae blanch a little bit. He grumbled something under his breath before walking in on his hands and feet after Snow, bumping into him to get him to go back inside before he got frostbite on his toes.
Tae turned his eyes about the others, but instead moved close to the fire, away from the group, but still close to Snow none the less. With the boy's feet bare, he waited for him to sit down, and wrapped his tail around his feet, offering what little bit of warmth he could without tickling him. M As Snow sat down by the fire, he stripped off his soaking wet socks and rolled them into a ball. Seeing no other option, he dropped them on the floor, hoping that the heat would dry them a bit before he had to put them back on again.
As Tae's tail curled around his feet, he stifled a small giggle. After all, the last thing he needed to do was embarrass either of them any more! Once the tail settled, the fur stopped tickling his feet, and Snow let out the breath he had been holding.
"Thanks," he said softly, giving the other boy a smile. Yuki Himitsu Tae reached over, getting his hands on some of the graham crackers he started nibbling against the cracker. He waited for Snow to settle down before he spoke, "No problem," he smiled back.
He looked back down to the fire, reaching out to uncurl his slightly blue tinged fingers. They didn't hurt him or anything, but it was best not to take chances with them. His fingers curled and uncurled several times, regaining the use of his joints he stuck out his toe paws as well to be warmed. His clothing only offered so much warmth, as his arms were bared and his feet were as well save for the sandles.
He let out a long sigh, and smiled. He liked being warm, and he knew that Snow's feet would catch frostbite if he didn't try helping warm him up. He used his tail to tug him a little bit closer to the fire, making sure he didn't catch him on fire or anything, "You're going to get sick..."

It was cold.
No.
It was FREEZING.
Tae could see his breath at this point with each huff of air that passed through his nostrils, hugging his arms to his body as he shouldered his jacket.
Skating.
With Snow.
He felt his cheeks heat up a little bit happily, eyes falling closed and his body grew a little bit warmer. He tried thinking cold thoughts in the end, so he didn't end up melting the ice or the snow that fell around him.
His feet already melted small holes in the snow as he lifted a gloved hand and wrapped his knuckles against Snow's door. He was supposed to meet him at his house and the two of them would go skating.
He grinned happily to himself. Skating. He couldn't believe it! He grinned goofily to himself, and what was so funny, was that he could keep grinning like an idiot, since Snow wasn't able to see him, and not get teased about it!
He chuckled to himself a little bit, then lifted his feet out of the small puddles.

Snow, expecting Tae, had been waiting in the main hall of the barracks. Shouldering two pairs of ice skates, which he had borrowed from Shion earlier in morning, he sat down on a bench that somebody had thoughtfully left out for weary passerby.
'I hope I do not make a fool of myself,' Snow chuckled to himself. 'I have not practiced in quite a while.'
Hearing the knock, Snow jumped up, and spent a few seconds steadying himself after all the blood rushed to his head. Walking over to the door, he swung it open wide.
"I am so glad that you could make it, Tae," he said, giving his warmest smile.

"Why wouldn't I be here? I couldn't miss the chance of skating with you!" he let out a soft chuckle, moving to wrap his arm around Snow's, "Besides, I haven't seen you in a while, I'll look for any excuse to spend time with you!" he actually leaned in and kissed his shoulder. He nuzzled into him a little bit before guiding him onward.
"I haven't been skating before, so you'll have to show me how, okay?" he kept him close, walking quietly with him down the pathway while trying not to trip up snow or himself.
He finally lifted Snow up onto his back, actually jogging onward, "C'mon!" he started a full out sprint, leaning down onto his hands and legs and being careful not to trip over his skates that hung down over his shoulders.

Well, Snow mused to himself, at least they would not be cold. Between the body heat his blushing generated and Tae's fire powers, they probably could warm a small building.
"That is perfectly alright," Snow leaned forward and whispered in Tae's ear. "I may not be the best of teachers, but I am certain that you shall learn fast."
Snow repositioned his ice skates so that they were hanging down his back, so they wouldn't dig into Tae's back as he was being held. Almost involuntarily, he wrapped his arms around Tae's neck so as to steady himself.
"The pond is just at the bottom of the first hill," Snow stated, smiling. "I had Mari go ahead and add an extra layer of ice, just in case it was not cold enough to be completely frozen over."

"I'll bet you're better than Xi-Xi! I had to make her stay home today or else she would have teased me all day!" he pouted suddenly, continuing to bound down toward the hill.
After a few leaps, he landed at the top of the hill, looking down he spotted the lake, and slid down slowly, being careful not to slip and fall again like he had been as of late. He blamed these weird feelings he had been getting from Snow lately.
Well, not so much 'from' as 'for'. He flushed a little bit on the way down, almost tripping once more and managing to drag his sorry carcass toward the edge of the lake, "An extra layer, huh? Should be interesting..."
He tapped at the ice with a fingertip, testing it to see if his body heat would melt it, and, after a small burst of condensation, nothing happened. Well, so long as he didn't fall on it or burn up the skates, he should be fine..

Sliding to the ground, Snow rapped at the ice with his knuckles, satisfied at the solid sound it made.
"I told Mari to stay home as well, after she finished with the ice," Snow admitted, letting out a small chuckle. "I am fairly positive that she would take to pranking us much too easily."
Straightening up, Snow turned around and cleared some of the snow off the ground behind him, so that he wouldn't have to sit in a large pile as he put his skates on. Pulling off his boots, he slipped on one of the skates and began to lace it up, using the sensitive tips of his fingers to find the holes.
"Be sure to lace your skates up tightly, Tae," Snow warned. "If they are too loose, your ankles will not forgive you afterwards."

"Mari... She's okay, I guess, I could just burn whatever prank she shot at us, I suppose. But if she tries to drown me, I'll never forgive her!" he huffed through his nose agitatedly for a moment before rubbing at it and sitting down. He untied his skates from his belt, undoing the protective sheathe over the blades and putting them down on the snow.
Already he felt his head swim for a moment as he realized he was going out skating on thin blades on some ice over a giant lake. If he fell in, he could actually die. He was fire based, that was bad enough, add to the fact that he was mainly part cat and just didn't know how to swim? That made life a little more difficult..
He snorted again and started tying up his skates. He almsot did them too tight, the leather of the shoes creaking as he stood up, waving his arms about he flicked his tail this way and that in a vain attempt to catch his balance, "AUGH!" he fell backward, right into a pile of snow that quickly melted then evaporated under his warm flesh.

"She is wicked, but not evil," Snow laughed as he spoke. "I doubt that she would try to drown either of us. I am sure her pranks would lean more towards making us fall down or something more...inane."
Hearing a sizzling noise from Tae's general direction, Snow paused in lacing up his second skate.
"Tae? Are you...alright?"
