Keres didn't think twice about the vulgarity of the man's response. She just raised her hands in something like a surrender pose and gave an almost devilish smirk. "Fine, fine, voodoo skull baby it is, jerkoff."

Anya on the other hand. ...well, as much as her and Keres yelled at each other, and even though Anya didn't think of herself as a "mother" to Keres, she wasn't going to tolerate anyone saying "******** you" to her kid... even if said kid didn't seem to have cared.

The Sven got to her feet and moved over to be a bit more near the Beerman, her arms crossed under her chest and her one cyan eye fixed on his face. "Hey!" she barked sharply, like one would harshly reprimand a dog. "Say that to her one more time and I'll shove the bottle so far up your a** you'll never piss straight again. Baby in your lap or not."

"Keep your ugly tongue behind your teeth, man," Anya retorted, trying her best not to punch the guy already.

Keres had moved behind Anya and glared at the man, silently staving off the small knot of self consciousness that was already growing in her stomach from the simple, rude comment about her looks.

Anya only stepped closer to him after he stood. "As far as I'm concerned, 'Hell' isn't a swear word. It's a religious place. Therefor, I believe that you were the one to have cussed first, man." She spoke very calmly, though her tone was stony and cold.

As far as one could tell, Anya's expression never changed and her eye never moved from his face.

"Keres, go grab your bag," she said, and in one of these rare cases, Keres did as she was told.

When Anya was sure that Keres was somewhere behind her, she moved, and did so quickly.

In no more than two seconds, Anya grabbed his shirt front, brought one of her legs over the other and planted it behind his legs, and then pushed him down onto the snow covered ground with a 'crunch' in the ice. She never hesitated as she pulled the gun from the back of her pants -- silencer attached already -- and fire two warning shots into the ground, one on each side of his head.

Keres nearly jumped, but composed herself quickly and moved to Anya's side as the Sven began to walk away. Anya told her to move in front of her and she did as she was told.

Anya turned her head just long enough to yell, " Indeed," and then moved around the street corner. Keres stopped, though, to flip him off before an arm yanked her away.
