((All the important stuff like rules is where you left it. I only moved rp posts and the character lists. Lets see though, the PN of both of us is at 135 attack, 125 defense. Now the fight doesn't go on until one of us falls, (that would take forever) but rather until a certain someone's identity is no longer a secret. Any flaming attack will char the cloak and eventually he will remove it.))

"How could I soil his name? He betrayed his government did he not. Seems to me he tarnished his own image." Well that was odd. It wasn't every day you referred to yourself in third person. He didn't care much for it, but it was getting under Kaki's skin and well it entertained him a bit.

"Still passionate as ever. At least that much hasn't changed." He centers the blade in front of him gripping it with both hands before allowing it to engulf itself. It wasn't an unusual ability so he figured it wouldn't give him away.

((No random numbers. You just attack with 135 PN, I defend with 125. Then the same happens on your side. Lets see we do 10 PN damage and 50 PN equals a heart. The idea was that we would use items to deal heavier damage. Here that isn't necessary since it is more devoted to whether or not you can get him to reveal himself.))

"That's a lie. The man was loyal only to himself. Besides he died shortly after his fight with you last I heard so when would he had joined these so called rebels." Reports did say he was dead and regardless of who believed otherwise he hadn't been seen in years. Although no body was discovered, a grave had been created with one of his weapons buried with in it. In the end he was just going to try and see just how emotional he could get him.

He reflects the blades toward his legs trying to keep his hood from going up too quickly. Instead a couple of sparks touch the bottom and a bit of smoke starts to bellow up. Instead of screaming in panic he just brushes the blaze out and makes his own move. Well the fact that his cloak wasn't fire resistant had just been made clear.

"Time hasn't slowed you down much." His speed was almost completely proportionate to his opponent. Perhaps a bit slower due to a slightly heavier cloak, but it was clear that he wasn't some monk.

His slash is the traditional style. A simple diagonal slash using a flaming sword. Still what was different about it was that the flames seem to move with the sword rather than blowing with the wind resistance. A style that he hadn't been known for and that he had made during his disappearance.

(125 block. 10 damage breaks through. Cloak has heavy damage, but remains intact.)

Not bad. That move almost burned all the way through. Still the cloak remained on, barely. Another exchange or two and perhaps his opponent would know who he was.

Another short rush with another basic flaming slash. He hadn't tired one bit from that move despite the damage done to his clothing. It was the same slash as before issuing the same effects. Next exchange he would show him a different type of attack. It would be his last, but that was where you were supposed to show off your best.

(125 PN block. The cloak is coming off)

Well this was a simply move to block. He simply put his sword behind him, but the fire did its damage. The cloak slowly catches full blaze, but instead of throwing it off in panic he simply jumps back and looks at Kaki.

He grips the cloak on his left shoulder and slowly pulls it off with his right hand, but this action was not done slowly. He hurls the fire ball at Kaki keeping himself from being seen before leaping into the air.

He didn't want to attack him, but he wanted to make this shock be that much more sweet. As he comes down he locks Kaki's blades with his own forming a face-to-face deadlock with him staring him directly in the eyes.

"Its been a long time Kaki..." That smirk and tone, just like old times. Part of his hair had fallen in front of his face, but it was clear that he hadn't changed much in the years.

Well he figured he would get some kind of reaction. You don't stage your death and expect everyone to accept it. "I didn't lie to anyone. It wasn't like I had any friends to lie to nor did I leave anyone. I lost all of them when I decided to leave." To most as soon as he 'betrayed' his forces he had become a completely different person. He figured most friendships went up in smoke right about that time.

He looks at Kaki before shrugging his shoulders a bit and continuing. "I needed time for myself and under the circumstances figured that dying was the best way to get it. Its not like you did any different from what you said during that little skirmish."

"Still essentially it was for the same reason. Now as for why I am here... Figured I would check to see if it was possible that a former ally may become one again. I don't know if you have noticed, but the people suffer from the constant battles between the two governments here. They live in fear knowing that any day their peace will be ruined and they no longer be of this world. So I was going to see if the once great Kaki Pan had any plans to possibly aid the people."

"Also Kaki, lets be honest. I can tell by listening to you that you are mad, I guess because I was alive and never told you. You were and you may still be a friend, but we had just finished trying to kill each other. I wasn't about to go up and tell you that I was faking my death to go into exile and possibly come back in a decade or so. Get mad, get annoyed, get whatever you want just ask yourself what you would have done if I had told you..."

"Blame me if you want. Have to be honest, I don't know if I would help you back then. I fought only because it was the one thing I knew how to do. It still is..." He pauses for a moment before continuing. "I never thought about what was important. Sure we fought for the people, but I could have just as well fought against their wishes as well. I was just like 'him.' Loyal only to the fight and the feeling it brought." He never mentioned who he was, in fact he didn't know until his disappearance. Part of him hoped Kaki ignored that, part of him wanted to tell him the truth.

"But, I found my reason to fight. Even in exile I continued to go to the cities at times. You can see fear in people's eyes along with the lost hope. They need someone like you." To him Kaki was a greater hero. He was a great fighter, but he wasn't the sort of person people looked to for inspiration. "I am simply here to lend a bit of help. Now you need to get prepared, do I need to go back into exile and wait for you or are you faster now?"
