Elizabeth walked into the Cafe, glaring like her usual expression was. She walked to the guy at the register and ordered a small Late`. She was in the mood for one today. She felt her cell vibrating and pulled it out while she was waiting for her Late` She read who the text was and cringed. She garbbed the Late`, and sat at a table. What the hell did her sister want? She read the text and almost threw her cell across the table.
Liz hated what she had done to her sister 4 years ago, and almost every single day her sister sent her a text reminding her about it. She began typing on her cell, not even sure why she was even going to reply to her sister. "Shut up, and leave me alone you jerk." She pressed send and took a sip of her Late` slamming it down on the desk. Liz slammed her head on the table, causing the Late to spill a little. Liz closed her eyes and sighed heavily trying to decrease her anger. "Ignore it Liz, Ignore it." She muttered to herself. Paying no attention to everyone else in the room she lifted her head and slammed it back on the desk once more.

Andy was having a dreary day, as usual. She was at an Institute for Disowned Teenagers, and this was about the happiest she got. But today, she showed a genuine smile on her face, which was rare. Extremely rare, considering half the time she was crying, and the other half she was just plain hating life. It was the kind of thing that Andy Lockhart did. She went over to the register with soft, swaying steps, and ordered a small Latte, handing a few dollars to the cashier and walking off with her drink. Looking around, Andy saw two people at a table; a boy, and a girl, then a girl at a separate table, and then a boy at a separate table. Of course she could sit with any one of them. But why would she? She liked being alone and having silence. But her avoidance of just about the rest of the human species was getting to her. As she walked past the girl sitting alone, she saw that the girl was banging her head on the table, which definitely was not healthy. A chance to talk to someone, maybe?
Mustering up the courage, Andy moved over beside the girl that was banging her head on the table. She knew that more than half the people here were here because they did something horrible; they could've even hurt people. But on the other hand, they were just like her; exiled, depressed, or devastated. "Excuse me?" The girl didn't reply; she just banged her head on the table again. Was Andy doing something wrong? "Uhh~" Andy paused, grabbing a small hold of the jacket that was hanging over her arm, and set it on the table where the girl was banging her head. The girl probably meant for it to hurt, but maybe it would give her a hint that someone was there. In Andy's soft voice, a small twinkle in her eyes, she asked the girl a question, and hopefully she noticed. "Are you okay? That can't make you feel better, whatever's making you do that."

Lena felt the corner of her mouth lift ever-so-slightly, and she knew that her eyes were dancing. She took a small sip of her tea and wrinkled her nose, sighing. "No one knows how to make a proper tea with lemon anymore," she complained with a roll of her eyes. Being a Brit, she was a bit of a tea-snob.

Hibiki laughed. "Well, we are at a rejected school. No doubt they won't give us the best." He said as he took another sip of his drink, shrugging a little. "You're quite a funny person." He said, leaving the hint of wanting to get to know her better in the air.

Lena smiled, but didn't laugh. "Well, we are at a rejected school," she parroted back. "There are bound to be a few loonies here and there." Pushing aside her tea and allowing it to get cold - she wasn't about to drink that dishwater - she interlaced her fingers and allowed her chin to rest on them. "Unfortunately, I appear to be the Head Loony around lately."

Hibiki laughed gently. "Really now. Loony how then, if you care to explain?" He asked. "I'd like to see what I'm getting myself into." He teased her as he finished off his iced tea.

Lena snorted. "Please, the only way I'd tell you that were if a: I were to kill you afterward, or b: you were extremely liquored. As both options are 'frowned upon' or some such nonsense, I'm afraid we'll have to wait until I can kill you or get you drunk," she said with an impish smile.

Hibiki sighed and gave a slight pout. "I see how it is." He said as he stood up and stretched. "Well, I guess I'll just have to look forward to that." He said as he put his laptop back into his bag and slung it over his shoulder. "Until then, I guess I'll be on my merry way, unless you'd care to go for a stroll with me?"

Her smile melted from one of mischief to one of almost sadness. "Sorry Beaky. I don't really do 'strolls,' romantic or otherwise." She stood and brought her still-full mug over to the counter for them to clean up. On her way out the door she stopped in front of Beaky. "Though, I wouldn't object to coincidentally meeting here again." She winked. "See you 'round, Beaky." And with that, in a way she had perfected to resemble a wisp of smoke, she slipped out the door and into the sunshine. Her bare feet made gently tapping noises on the tile floor, as she hadn't put on shoes this morning, but otherwise there wasn't even a slight trace of her previous presence.

Hibiki shook his head. That was one interesting girl. Chuckling a little, he threw out his cup before he headed to the halls, hoping to meet her again in the cafe.

Liz continued to band her head on the table. Yeah she heard the girl trying to catch her attention, and to tell her to stop. But Liz didn't want to listen. She wanted to give herself as much pain as she possibly could, to actually take away the guilt of what she had been nurdened with ever since she had cut her sister. Sure her sister had desrved it for being the only one who got presents at there birthdays, and always getting what she wanted. Gabby had been perfect, and Liz had well, not been. But Liz hated that fact that Perfection actaully mattered to her parents. "I'm A O.k. Just bug off, will you?" Liz finally muttered when the girl wouldn't give up.
Liz knew this wasn't the way to save things or switch them or make them better. Immedietly after going back to banging her head on the desk she felt bad for being rude to the girl. "I-I'm sorry. I shouldn't have been so rude... It's just.." She paused. Tears were beginning to form. Not because she was sorry from being rude to the girl, it was a delaid reaction from the text message form her sister. "I-I have to go.. I really am sorry." Liz said standing up fro the table and running out of the Cafe. She needed to escape to some place, she just didn't know where.
[[I'm soo sorry for a late reply. I'm really busy because school is starting up soon, and I have band camp until it does. XD]]

Damian got up at the same time as Leilani. They headed out of the door but because of Leilani's past reactions she stopped a little to let Damian go first before following out, both going to their first period.
