[Sorry, been busy with manager training and Silat. I'm back though! mwahahha o.o;; Er, sorry about your pet T__T I know what it's like to loose an animal.]
Brock was silent as he watched the Butterfree, watching how it idly hovered in the air as it awaited for the giant rock snake to reemerge, but even Brock didn’t know. And Brock wasn’t about to order the Onix to show itself anytime soon. The giant snake would know when to come up at the exact moment, this he had no doubt about. Crossing his arms against his vest, he wouldn’t allow his eyes to linger down to the stadium floor. Onix was a rather rash pokemon and this was his attack, his timing from now.
The Gym Leader continued to watch the Butterfree, watching as it hovered. How long could the bug creature’s wing hold it up? A long time one might assume, but eventually it would tire. Surely the rock pokemon didn’t intend to wait till the flying insect came back down to earth. Hm. Unless Onix was planning on...that would make sense. Brock allowed the slightest hint of a smile come to the edge of his lips, though it quickly disappeared as soon as it was seen. Alright. Brock would have to trust his Pokemon. There was nothing else to do.

Slifer smiled as his Butterfree hovered, he was thinking the same thing. After watching the earth intently, and not seeing any movement he sighed, this was not what he had expected. Whatever the situation, he could tell roughly where Onix lay, not enough to pinpoint, but to know his postierier was facing the hole he made, usually he would have sent Butterfree down there, but that tail could be dangerous it whipped at his pokemon's wings. He looked at the ground, and began forming an idea.
"Butterfree, spray the arena floor with as much silk as you can!" he said, watching as Butterfree swooped lower, although still not as low as Onix could reach, and sprayed the arena floor in as much silk as possible, before landing on top of Slifers cage, ever vigilent of the ground. Slifer's plan was simple, the silk would act as both a small net and a notification. The net would move seconds before Onix re-emerged. This meant his Butterfree would have a chance to fly higher. Also, the net would be sticky, hopefully adding to the irritation of the Onix enough for it to let its guard down

{[D'you mind roleplying two battles at once? ^^' Seeing as these are at different points in time...]}
Alex looked through the morning rays of sunlight, her eyes set upon one building. The gym loomed ahead, calling to her. Se smiled as she checked to make sure her butterfree's ball was still attached to her belt. It was, thankfully. She was on her skateboard, which she had gone without for the past couple of days due to her training in the forest. One of the wheels on her skateboard hit a rock, and the board spun around. Alex desperately tried to keep her balance, but feel off and onto her backside. She sighed irritably, and found herself right at the entrance of the Pewter City Gym.
"Wow, so many rocks!" Alex said, kicking some out of her way. She entered, blinking as she looked around. There were too many rocks, and it scared her. She took a deep breath, spying a rather large one which she could use as seat before Brock appeared. Alex sat on the edge, crossing one leg over the other. She took the single strapped bag from voer her shoulder, resting it atop the rock along with her skateboard.
"Yo, anyone at all here?" She asked to the shadows, hoping for a response, preferably from Brock. The place seemed empty, and her voice echoed across the walls. She sighed and crossed her arms.

[::]Slifer, there are no pipes in a rock gym. I put a description in the first post and no where does it say pipes... why would there be pipes in the gym? All there is as far as pipes/wires/etc. are electrical wires that run through the stone formations leading up to the lights (there's even a picture reference) towering over the gym. They still aren't visable. Why random water pipes would be in a battledome makes little to no sense. Please change your post.[::]

Lena pushed the giant doors of the Pewter City Gym inward, gaping at the large stadium that greeted her eyes. How in the world did these city people fight in such a large place?
"I don' see no-one..." The baffled trainer murmured, blinking. Tonee rolled his eyes, grabbed one of Lena's hands, then dragged her forcefully towards the arena. He couldn't wait to battle, it seemed. Lena tugged her hands from Tonee's, narrowing her eyes at the cheeky little Squirtle.
"We ain'.... Oohhhhhh!" Lena took a deep breath, eyes widening as she spotted the battling trainers. "Ne'er mind! They look busy!"
Tonee scowled, grabbing at Lena's hands once more, but Lena held them high enough so that he couldn't reach.
"Tortle!" He exclaimed angrily, crossing his arms. Lena grinned at him.
"Fine, we'll wait..."
Tonee pumped his fist into the air, his angry air vanishing.

Sao entered through the doors to the massive rock battle dome. The gym was huge and the floor covered in sand that shifted beneath Sao's boots. She looked around the gym for someone. "Hello? Is anyone here?"

Brock steeped out a darkened region of the gym. Upon seeing the trainer he looked her up and down and smiled. "Why hello there and welcome to the Pewter City Gym. I realize you are a trainer, but just because you are a pretty girl does not mean I'll go easy on you. Now we can begin when ever you are ready.

Sao smiled to herself, pretty girl? "I wouldn't want you to anyways. One pokemon each, right?" Sao grabbed the blue and white pokeball from her belt and thought. She knew he was going to use Onix, that was for sure, but did she really want to use this gyarados that she just caught? You bet she did! "Ok, please do good Nekketsu..." She whispered to the ball before she threw it out into the ring. The ball opened up with a flash of white light that formed into the giant shape of her red Gyarados, who let out a roar as it was released.

"Oh no shot down and no I need to battle that. Well thats okay do your best Onix!"Onix appeared on the ground an took a look at Nekketsu and let out a full power rock throw attck. "Good job Onix, now wait and see how this trainer reacts to that!"

"Nekketsu, hit those rocks back at it with your tail!" The gyarados obeyed and hit a nice amount of the rocks back, but a few of them hit. Though they didn't do much against the water pokemon's thick hide. Sao would let Nekketsu battle on its own for a bit, and see if it did as well as Eki did. The gyarados waited for another command and when none came took the innitiative to charge at the onix with a tackle.

"okay onix take the hit, I won't do much! Onix was hit and knocked over by Nekketsu's tackle attack, but got up and showed no sign any to much damage. "Okay now use rock tomb!" Onix hurnled rocks at the pokemon in an attempt to trap it in a rocky prison

Nekketsu curled up and hid its head under its tail as it was barraged with large rocks and 'trapped' under them. crud... how am I supposed to get Nekketsu out of that? Sao didn't have to do anything, Nekketsu had it under control. Again the rocks hadn't done too much damage, though there were scuffs and scratches on the Gyarados' hide. Nekketsu used thrash and burst out of the rock tomb and lunged at the onix again, this time aiming to use its bite attack.

Brock smiled at seeing the bruses on Nekketsu "Okay Onix now doge and use rock throw again!" Onix tried jumping ou of the way, however it was useless. He was bit right near the bottom of his body. He screech out in pain and tried hurling more rocks at Nekketsu "Oh dear this is not good at all!"
