I love dragons and cats and wanted a combination of them. I also speak german, so i decided to have cat in german (katze) and then i looked at dragon and wanted to incorporate hte k from my first name. ^_^ so it got turned into drako (which is also esperanta for dragon) and thus i became dragoncat aka drakokatze

Mine is super old. I wanted thatonegirl for my hotmail account and it wasn't available so i tried gal and it worked. thatonegal is my sn on almost every site i use and if it isn't thatonegal then like on here it is that1gal....

I'll hafta read all yours later, like tomorrow when I'm more awake but there really is no "story" behind my user name. Heh ... I was just stuck at coming up with one and jokingly I told my niece heey! how about "awesomely_aweful" heh She actually liked it and since neither of us couldn't decided, we just used it and it stuck *lol* I hadn't had the heart to change it.

Mine is kind of boring. My name is too common and always already used everywhere.
When I was pregnant with my son, my husband wanted to name him Joseph (after himself), my daughter wanted to name him Jake-o (I think she was aiming for Jacob), and I wanted to name him Julian.
The day he was born, he looked just like his Daddy (still does). My husband took him out of the OR to the nursery and my daughter saw him for the first time (she was 2) and announced (loudly) "Baby Jofef! I LOVE YOU!" It was completely unprompted and I realized that his name was Joseph no matter what I wanted....so.... since my name is always taken I decided to start using "Jofefina" for her corruption of baby brother's name, which is almost always available, but for some bizzare reason prompts people to ask me if I am Portuguese. whee

I don't remember exactly how I thought up ladybrittania, but I think it just related to my own name enough...I do know that way back when I started an email account, the usernames I wanted were all taken, so I sat and brainstormed and brainstormed.
When I was 17, I had a friend who always called me Britain. She loved that my name was Brit - she was all caught up in the punk movement and loved England.
From that, I sort of came up with ladybrittania, originally. It is my Neopets name, and then when I joined Gaia, I didn't even think twice about using it. It's part of my online identity now.
Since I've been "maturing," I think what I love about it the best is the Lady part, although originally, I had made it up for the way it used my own name and included Britain in it. Now I like being called Lady and LadyB. I love it when I come across another friend who has lady in her username too - like Sweet Lady Rose ^_^
Anyway, some roleplaying names I've used have been Taarna, Twittermop, Gretchen, and Dagmar. For some reason, I've always saved ladybrittania for online fun.
Oh, I also have a mule account, and her name is LilahKemp, named after the protagonist in my favourite novel, Headhunter by Timothy Findley. Her profile is all based upon her character. I love it! ^_^

Hmmm let's see....
Well my name is the name of my main RP name, The full name being Leviathan Marina Oceania....Lavian for short.
It's pronounced La-Veye (as in eye..like your eye ball)-an.
I've actually wrote a story (that was orginally supposed to be a 2 disc ps2 game...that is if I'd actually type the rest of it up >w< I'm on chapter 9 atm).

the feelings inside me create the "rogue". i am on a quest "in real life" to find a dragon (hence the "dragon" [don't argue with me, they exist]). this is my yahoo screen name and its a scren name for a game i have (supreme commander: forged alliance).

When I turned 30, I was going through a great rebirth of my life in so many ways. I wanted to celebrate by giving myself a name that really meant something to me. I came to Ellorien, which is Elvish for DreamStar. When I got married a couple of years later, I legally changed it so that Ellorien is my middle name. I try to live up to it every day of my life. smile

 I may have already mentioned this to some of you, but my username is a joke that I share with my best friend IRL. I forgot how it really came about, but the purple cauliflower became associated with foible (which someone in our English class pronounced foi-bly, which we thought was hilarious) which then became associated with some weird drug that makes you crazy.
Yeah, we were some weird freshman back in the day.
So when it came around to picking a username, I thought, might as well use The Purple Cauliflower, because I love purple and inside jokes. c:
