Mysterious Ruins

[Mezalyth]

Nimda's head slowly scanned the area, his eyes twitching at the glowing shapes.

"...Does it feel like a storm in here, to you?"  

[xXYaoi is LoveXx]

"I-it feels like something...."
Oliver kept close to Nimda, quickly turning his head side to side, trying to catch a look at the strange glow.
Eventually the trees began to separate and sun shone through again. The glows disappeared and the little creatures continued to frolic. Nearby voices could be heard, laughter, and talking.  

[Mezalyth]

"Do you hear that?" Nimda froze. "...How do we continue?"  

[xXYaoi is LoveXx]

"I-I guess we keep going. Maybe we could ask them where the entrance is to the city."  

[Mezalyth]

"....sure...." Nimda took a tentative step forward, accidentally stepping on a twig. A loud snap echoed through the hollow spaces of the trees, causing him to freeze.

"...Oh hell..."

The voices stopped and movement could be heard.
"Oi whose there?"
A familiar figure stepped around a tree. His black hair, now clean and longer, was tied back in high pony tail. His electric blue eyes contrasted with his hair in a way that made them look as if they glowed. His cloak was gone, instead he stood in a loose pair of black slacks. His arms were covered in strange black markings. He was a bit shorter and looked a tad younger, but there was no mistaking that it was Lyrren.  

[Mezalyth]

Nimda's eyes widened.
No way...

His mouth opened, but he couldn't speak.

He looked them up and down quizzically before calling over his shoulder
"Just a couple of travelers!"
He turned back to them
"You two lost?"  

[Mezalyth]

He's not choking...
"Yeah...we wanted to explore the forest and kinda got lost amidst everything..."

He nodded
"Understandable"
He turned walking away and waving for them to follow. As he turned, the markings on his back became visible. There were two chalices with an arch of water pouring endlessly from one into the other.
"You two planning on visiting the city?"  

[Mezalyth]

Nimda's heart skipped a beat. "Y..yeah, that was the plan. I have to admit though, I'm a bit nervous."

Nimda nudged Oliver, making sure he saw the tattoo as well.

Oliver nodded frowning.
Lyrren lead them into a small opening. There were two other people in the clearing. One looked like a small boy, another was a man in his twenties. The young boy looked like he was attempting to catch the small little creatures they had seen previously, with a black top. However, the little things were to fast for him.
Lyrren snatched his top back, pulling it over his head.
"Stop terrorizing those things."
The boy looked up grinning
"Ah don' be sucha gerl, Lyrren."
The boy noticed Nimda and oliver
"And who might you be?"
The boy asked in a thick accent  

[Mezalyth]

Nimda nodded. "My name is Nicholas, and this," he said gesturing to Oliver, "is Orion. Who are you?"

He grinned
"Nice tah meet yah both, me name's Cloak, and that 'n over there is Michael"
He gestured to the other man.
Michael smiled weekly and nodded at them
"There off to visit the city" commented Lyrren
"Oh? Lotta fun that place is. Specially righ' now, holliday season, it is. Good times."  

[Mezalyth]

Nimda raised an eyebrow. "Really? You ever attend one of the celebrations?"
