"Your prey?" Nova asked. "And... I'd prefer you if you didn' call me Kalika." Those vampires. They were so rude. He looked back at the human and smiled. Nova looked into the Achyls who was holding on to the human's arm, the Kalika's eyes grey eyes getting a hint of red in them. "Why do you have to feed on someone so pretty? Go find someone ugly," Nova said and waved his hand to shoo the Achyls away. Nova walked over to the vampire who seemed to be leading this little hunt and ran his hand down his chest. "Unless you want this kid as your feeding bag." He smiled and looked back at the human, eyes back to their normal grey color while he held a happy look on his face. He meant the human no harm, and he hoped that was how the other felt.

Mitsuki watched as the two young men began to talk nonsense. He was so confused and yet so scared at the same time. The Achyls looked at Nova for a while, then to Mitsuki then back again. He growled and lets go of Mitsuki's arm. "I'm too hungry to deal with this..." he mumbled and left with a huff. Mitsuki rubbed his arm and watched the other leave. He looked over at Nova. "Thank you....you saved me." He let's out a sigh, he looked in the direction the man left, "I wonder what that was about?" All the terms the two exchange while taking. Feeding bag? Prey? The terms confuse him but he let's it slide. He held out his hand, "Thank you, again. I owe you one."

Nova took the other's hand and smiled, a quick shake of his head. "No, you owe me nothing. Those guys are just bullies," he said and looked at the other. He leaned in close and looked over his face. The other did smell as though he had exquisit(sp) blood, but he would not allow himself to be tempted. He was at that stage in his life that if he fed on a human, they would be with him forever. He had waited too long to pick someone to be his human. If he fed on anyone, then he would be stuck with him. He had no idea if this guy was good or not; although, he really did not give Nova a bad feeling. "Oh, I forgot," he said and stood up straight again. "I am Nova Kalika." He shook the hand and smiled. "Pleased to meet you."

Mitsuki looked at the other and smiled back, "I'm Mitsuki. Nice to meet you too." He looked around the park, "Jeez, Does all the jerks come out in this time of night?" He rubbed the back of his head and laughed, "Then again, it's my fault to stay out late." He tilted his head to the side, "What was that all about...you and him talking? What's a 'feeding bag'?" he asked as he raised a eye brow questionably. Their terminology was quite unusual and different, like a code or something.

"Oh, what? Feeding bag?" Nova put his finger to his mouth like a child thinking and shrugged. "I'm not sure. It was just something that came to my mouth," he said and giggled. He had to come up with something to drive the human away from using those words... Especially around vampires. Nova giggled again and looked around. He did not sense any vampires nearby, so they were safe for the time being. The Kalika male walked around the human and tilted his head to the side. "Mitsuki... That's a nice name," he mumbled. "Hey, you should head home now. It's getting dark, and I'm sure more of those creeps will come out." He nodded confidently and started to head home himself. It probably was not safe to even go home for him. His father would yell at him for not finding a feeding bag while on his walk, then he would hear his father talking about it all night long until the sun comes up and everyone's at the table for breakfast. He sighed heavily as he walked away.

Armand smiled. It was a cruel and slow smile that would have made a child start crying at once. The dark haired vampire was sitting on the roof of a pizzari. The smell of the bready substance was not as appitezing as the blood being spilt in the alley into which he was gazing. A boy had just finished clobbering a bulky drunkard who obviously took too many steroids. He watched as the boy stumbled out of the alley, his eyes fixed to the arm holding his side. He tilted his top hat back, away from his eyes, then brought his hand down to absent-mindedly play with his tie.

Although he was dressed in a peculiar fashion and had a strange way of doing things, other vampires could tell after a few minutes of hanging around him that he was definitely from the Achyls clan. He licked at his fangs, feeling the sharp point of the canines that had been denied the taste of blood for almost a week. The blood flowing though him was stale, cold and almost out of nutrients to supply his body with. In short, it was fading away. His crimson gaze became llightly shadowed by his bangs as he stared at the wincing boy going across the street.
"Interesting," He voiced, leaning backwards as he proceeded to stand and look down from the roof. He had heard what the blonde said, and his malicous grin widened slightly. "This might be the one. . . "

After looking around for a while, the boy started down th street. Now he was standing straight up but he still held his side. "Hey, kein." he hoalard to a man of about thirty that sat behind a counter cleaning dishes, the man looked up and smirked. "hey anything good?" He asked as he moved over to the counter.

"Aaah, well nothing at the moment..." Kein paused as he looked over the boy. "Icarus, really you should stop getting into fights." He shook his head. "One of these days i'll tell your mom."

Icarus mumbled under his breathe. "Kein, I'm eighteen, I can do whatever I want without her permission." he stopped and thought, a smirk ran across his face for a split second. "Stop being an old lady, Kain!" the boy said sarcasticly as he walked away with a wave of his hand and dissappeared into the crowd. He walked around aimlessly until he came upon an empty street that lead to his little appartment. Icarus smiled when he was alone and sighed.

((Ouji, don't you mean Achyls? In your character profile, you said that he was Achyls, not Kalika... ^^))

Nova looked behind him once and shrugged. He would leave the human to think and wonder about what had happened. For some reason, the Kalika vampire really enjoyed seeing humans thinking. He thought they were wonderful creatures while they had that face on. Chuckling to himself, he passed a crowd of people as he walked by, smelling blood in the air. He had to keep control of himself... He could not let himself be taken by the instinct. He gripped his stomach and grumbled. How was he going to be able to keep away? He had gone almost two weeks without feeding off anyone because he detested the very idea of feeding from some random person. Still holding on to his stomach, Nova strode across the street when the screech of tires came from behind him. He turned to see what it was, but the speeding light came towards him too fast and hit him. He laid on the front of the vehicle with a strange smile on his face. The driver of the car seemed to be freaking out because she jumped out of the car and looked over the man. He looked up at her and grinned; his grin seemed to scare her even more. It made her wonder... What was this man? He had no injuries or anything. Nova pushed himself up and rubbed his ribs. Well, smae simple bruises, but they would heal. He looked around and sighed. "Sorry for causing you trouble," he said and looked down at the car, his blood dripping from his mouth. It did not have the vibrant color of human blood like it should have. He wiped it away from the woman and strode off. She protested about him walking, but he continued refusing any help she offered. He walked by a pizza place a peered inside. There were so many good humans to feed of off, but he could not... Not until he found the one to be with him for as long as his life would allow. "Not yet." He shook his head. "Not yet..."

Armand looked over the edge of the building at the bloodied ground before turning away from it and clutching hold of the edge of his top hat before jumping down into the shadows of the alley front. He stepped out into the street, his shin high boots making a tiny clacking sound as he walked down the street following the boy to a shop. He was yelling at some man. How queer. Talking to. . . his boss? No one talks to their boss. He smirked at the ending of the conversation, his shoes clicking in an almost soundless way as he continued his effortless trek to keep track of the boy. The night helped and the fact that he was literally light on his feet. The darkness was one of the few things he still enjoyed after turning a human aged of 17 and being plagued by his god forsaken thirst.

Icarus -he assumed it was the boy's name since the man had called him by that- seemed to walk in no ordinary fashion, still holding his side as if in pain. He could smell the blonde's blood sharply now, since he was walking down an empty street, and it made him all the more desirous to the vampire. Now was the time he'd take action.

Armand walked a bit fast, catching up to the blonde and firmly but gently forcing him to a wall with his back against it. Making a cage out of his bdy and arms, he leered down at Icarus, his eyes half lidded and his lips twisted upwards in a demented smile. His top hat had gone slanted and he looked rather mysterious but threatening. He leaned forawrd, putting his weight on his hands which were flat on the wall on either side of the blonde.
"Hello little one. Didn't your mother ever tell you not to walk down dark streets alone?"

(( oops! right hun. I guess I wasn't thinking. . . You know what I mean! >_< ))

Icarus had started humming to himself without knowing when a strange man came over to him and pushed him into a wall. He was surprised and at the same time confused. His blue eyes shifted as he looked at the mans arms. The boy glared at the man when he called him 'little'. "I'm not little." he said reletivly calm but a hint of anger was in his voice and he was itching ti hit the guy. "Actually she didn't but why should you care?" Icarus mumbled with a bit if sarcasim. Of coarse his mother had always told him not to walk around at night, even in crowded street. Icarus always thought she was paranoid. His heart was beatting quickly with fear from the mans smile and from excitement of being able to figt again. Falling from his side, Icarus's arm was at his side, the fist was clenched like the other one.

In the distance the vampire saw something. Was that a vampire? He could smell blood. Who was giving off the scent? He shook his head. Nova had to keep his wits together... Not to give into the instincts. Maybe he could help another human from a vampire. He walked over to the two, standing back at a safe distance, his stomach growling loudly. He glared when he realized that the one there was actually one from the Achyls clan. Why did they always have to cause trouble? And even after he got ran over by the car. He leaned with his back to the wall and slid down slowly, his strength being sapped from him. He needed sustenance... He needed something to assist his survival. "Father... Help me..." he said with little affect. How was his father going to hear him? He was probably still grumping over how Nova had not even thought about finding one to be his human. However... How could he now in his condition. He sighed. So that was how Nova Kalika was going to die? He sat up and slowly pushed himself up the wall. No way was he going to give in to something as pathetic as that. He wanted to live and love. He smiled.

Mitsuki turned to talk to Nova, but found out that the other was gone. He sighed and new that he was right and that he should go home. He picked up his bookbag and turned to leave, but stopped when he remember something important. "Oh! That knew book just came out!" he said with a smile. Well, Something important to him. He turned and hurried over to the new book store in the district. He looked at his watch and realized that it was still early in the night. He walked down the street until he came to the book store, his favorite fiction novel was out today. He walked in to get his favorite book. This book of his was a story about Vampires.

"M-My I should just pick a human..." Nova mumbled weakly and stumbled off. To anyone who had no vampire blood, he seemed to be a drunk man walking the streets at night. That was definetly something he did not want plastered all over him. The drunk man who was only seventeen, the age he appeared to be. He walked down the streets and away from all the people. It seemed to be quieter in this part of town, the more sophisticated side. He grinned. Being in a more calm area was something he needed. Perhaps he would be able to find that one human guy again. What was his name? Mitsuki? That was it. A sly smile spread across Nova's face. He was always told that when he drank the blood of someone once he reached the age of one hundred and fifty years, the person would become his life-long feeding source. What if he willed it not to happen? He grinned. That would be nice... He sniffed the air as he somehow caught the scent of that guy. It would have been better to get a drink from that one guy with the Achyls vampire, but maybe he had plans for that human... Nova was too weak to bother helping out. He stumbled to the bookstore where his nose led him. Outside the window, he peered inside and slumped against the building. He was just too weak. The vampire needed to find food. If only his father was there to give him some... He sighed. "Seems this is how I will leave this world," he said and placed his forehead on the window.

Mitsuki looked through the lanes until he found fantsy and fiction. He walked along the lines to find the book. He smiled at the midnight blue cover of the book with gold letters. He reached over and picked it up and carried it over to the register. He handed the money to the man with his membership. After waiting for the man to give the money, he walked out of the building. He sighed happily, I wonder what happens this time-- he thoughts were caught off when he noticed Nova on the ground. His eyes widen and kneeled down next to the other, "Nova? Hey! What's wrong?" he asked as he examines him. He placed his book into his bag and check Nova. He doesn't look too good he thought as he examined him, "Nova....it's me. Mitsuki....remember?" he asked with concern.

Armand smirked as he watched the startlingly blue eyes shift from his face to his arms then back again.
"Not little are we. . . " It was almost tauntingly said. "Then I sure I don't have to ask your permission to take you as my feeding bag."
Such a disgraceful word for one so beautiful, but until he learned that Icarus was the boy's real name, he didn't think he would use it. He looked to the side at the scent of stale blood that wasn't his. Another was near. A weaker vampire that had not yet found his feeding bag either. Appearantly he hadn't found a way of getting blood out of a victim without actually tearing or biting the skin himself. How entertaining. He caught the boy's arms fall to his side out of hte corner of his eyes. Planing to hit me? He'll find that won't exactly work.
Being starved only made Armand less patient and more agressive. Which meant this boy pinned before him would have little time to agree to his antics before he would be forced into it. Let's say. . . a day, give or take a few precious hours.
"It seems one of my brother was looking to interupt. . . " He murmured as he watched the other vampire back away, then he turned back to the human he had found. "Well precious. I'm hungry, and that doesn't bode well for you at this moment in time."
He was using all his will not to skip all this talk and simply draw out the blood from the boy's neck. It was calling for him, yeasing him with it's distinctive perfumed scent. He leaned a bit close, determined to make this human jump out of his skin with either fright or nervousness.
